I purchased the plugin and like it very much. I have a service that is offered in one location on most days, but a separate location every tuesday. Any idea how I can make that part of the process? I don’t want clients to be able to change locations. Also, I would like to skip the payment step altogether. We are using the form for services that the client already paid for. Please advise

I could advise to create two staff members with different schedules. Regarding the payments – you need to disable all payments in the settings menu to hide this step.

About a week ago i asked for the short code for the “notes” and you guys said it is “[[CUSTOM_FIELDS]]”. well i placed that there and im not getting the notes but when i get to the “Cart” the actual shortcode is showing. Please advise

Sorry, I wasn’t attentive. You were referring to the WooCommerce cart item, at the moment you can’t return the values of the custom fields, only the codes that you see there can be used. We will think about it adding this code to future releases.

so basically at this point there is no way that the custom field that is in the bookly form can be sent with the notifications email? because i do see this [[CUSTOM_FIELDS_2C]] and [[CUSTOM_FIELDS]]. This isnt the notes from the actual woo-commerce cart item. its the custom field where you fill out Step 3 on the bookly form where it asks for name, email, phone number and then i have the custom field.

The notes field on the details step is a custom field, please check the custom fields menu. if you want to include the information from the custom fields (Notes fields for example) in the notifications – you need to add one of the mentioned codes [[CUSTOM_FIELDS]] or[[CUSTOM_FIELDS_2C]] to the email template.

Currently this payment gateway is not supported. Though you could use the WooCommerce integration so you could use other payment gateways that are supported by WooCommerce. Bear in mind if you enable this option – customers will be redirected to a cart after the details step and the payments from Bookly will be disabled.

Hello. Is there any way to allow one customer to book two appointments at the same time, but NOT allow two different customers to book an appointment in the same time slot?
For example, customer A wants to book two services in the same appointment. We’d like to allow that. But we don’t want to allow customer B to book a service during that same time slot.

A customer can book time slots, he’ll just need to book them before the second customer tries to make the booking. Booking at the same time for two services is not supported, you could use the built-in cart so customers could add to cart more time slots for different services before proceeding to the payment step.

I have been checking the demo before purchasing and I see that the Staff Members, when they click on NEW CUSTOMER (for creating a new appointment) they have access to the FULL LIST of Wordpress Users, included the Admin ones.
Obviously this is a big inconvenience as they do not need to have access to this information. This should be an admin compatibility.
Is there any option to prevent this from happening?
1. Hiding the NEW CUSTOMER link
2. Hiding the USER field in order they do not have access to the whole list.

I DO NOT SEE why i should pay extra for such basic funcionality. This is a clear lack of security of this plugin and a total no sense, where non admin roles in this plugin have access to the whole WORDPRESS USER LIST!
Now with this plugin an staff member can book an appoiment with the user ADMIN… Come on.

I know very well what this option is for, what I do not know is why Staff Members have access to the whole wordpress user list without any restriction.
In any case, the Staff Members only would want to add appointment to customers roles, but right now and with a clear lack of security of this plugin, they have access to the whole list, even to see the Admin username. This does not no make any sense.
If you do not want to fix that because you hope to make extra money charging with an extra fee for fixing YOUR BUGS, it is up to you.
I am not going to pay you any extra fee in order you fix your own bugs and I would invite to other Envato user to consider do not buy this plugin if they want to assign calendars to their staff. They need to know that their Members Staff would have access, without any restriction, to the NAME and SURNAME of all the USERS created in their business.
This could be also in conflict with the legal standards of Privacy Policy in EU countries as they would be searchable in a database for proposers that clients do not agree to.

This is not a bug, and you don’t need to pay anything. The access for the staff members was implemented this way because our customers requested it. Though if you need to restrict the access for the staff members it can be done by making some changes to one file.

Ok. whatever. This is a clear security bug and the reason why i am not going to buy a licence until this plugin can restrict what the staff member can see when they add new customers. You said that this was implemented by the request of you customers..very well, but i do not see in what stupid scenary an staff member would want to make an appoitment with the Wordpress admin. IF YOU HAVE ADD THIS FEATURE, at least give the chance to disable it in the backend without asking for an extra fee as you asked me.
You are giving to the staff members capabilities of admins roles by default. This is a lack of security.

Hi, I’m interested (love) your product and have a few questions: I would be using this for a barbershop with several employees. Can my employees set their schedules on their own? How would they do this? Also, some appointments take longer times and some are shorter. For example, a basic men’s haircut might have a 15-minute interval, but a woman’s appointment for curling hair might take an hour. Does your platform support this well? Thanks!

Your employees should have their WP account associated with the staff member account in the plugin. They will be able to edit their settings and appointments.
They should be logged in this WP account in order to do this.
Timeslot length (global parameter) is a separate feature from each service’s duration.

Hi, If one customer paid locally and booked for 3 months for a particular section (eg. morning 8am to 9am). How we can manage these kinds of bulk bookings from back end?

Unfortunately recurring bookings are not supported.
You can access all bookings at the Appointments tab of the plugin.
Please, note that you will have to manually edit each booking if that becomes necessary.

I am setting up Bookly for a client and we have fully customized email notifications we would like to send out. We have edited them in the email notifications settings in Bookly. When we test it using the free consultation offer we have, it sends out a generic notice and not the email we have created. Can you help me correct this please?

That is just your web-browser’s auto-fill function working. Try testing the plugin using another web-browser.
Other customers will see either empty fields or those will be pre-filled with their info that they used at other websites before.

Hi,
You will see your name and email prefilled when you are logged in as a WordPress user. In this case Bookly will use your WordPress profile details to fill in the full name and email fields. For anonymous users those fields are left empty.

Hi guys. I finally managed to upgrade to 9.1.1 and the new “pending and approved” status looks like exactly what I want, so great job!
My question is: I would like a staff member to be able to get an SMS when there is a pending appointment awaiting approval and I would like the SMS to include a link that they can click (let’s assume they all have smart phones) to approve the appointment (rather than having to log in to the back end). Is there a code – [[APPROVE_URL]] or something – that can do that? If so, then I’m a happy man!
