Should Flow Flow work on localhost? Currently in my set up it’s not. It just has the loading icon forever. The console shows a 500 server error for http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=fetch_posts&stream-id=2&disable-cache=&hash=&page=0&preview=0 I’m assuming that is the issue, but not sure what could be causing that. Thoughts?

This request requires scope=public_content, but this access token is not authorized with this scope. The user must re-authorize your application with scope=public_content to be granted this permissions.
Checked Instagram, and according to them, those permissions are NOT needed for a feed on a website, and that it’s something wrong on the plugin’s end.

we are using WAMP/MAMP solutions for localhost with no problems. If you token error, it’s not plugin side, it’s response from API to token you use. Try to generate token alternatively using Instagram Feed free plugin

looks_awesome, I generated the token via the manual method per your instructions. It also isn’t just on localhost, I’ve since pushed the site to a demo server and it has the same problem. I don’t have access to the instagram account we are trying to pull in, does that matter? Why do I need to install another plugin to get a token when I already have one?

We were using the pre-moderation feature on our Twitter and Instagram feeds and it worked very well until recently. When visitors see the page with the feed, it loads properly, but when we are logged in WordPress, and we want to go approve posts, the page is extremely slow and loads forever. It freezes the browser and we have to force-close it. We are then unable to go and approve the pending posts. We are also unable to navigate to the page while logged in… We believe this may be caused by a high number of posts being submitted to the hashtag we are using. Is there a way to limit how many posts are loaded for moderation? Or can we approve the posts from the WordPress back-end?

Instagram feed keeps coming back with: Plugin received next error from network API while requesting this feed:
The requested URL returned error: 404 NOT FOUND
I’ve tried every setting including just pulling a simple hastag such as #cats.
Also the Facebook steam is showing a green checkmark but no posts are being pulled in.

Hi -
I liked the free version so I purchased, since adding YT and G+ it hangs on ADMIN INFO: Feeds cache is being built in background. Please wait for changes to apply. Page reload is required.
It has been 2 days hung there, Working on valamarketing.com/connect
I tried reinstalling the plugin and same issue, works until I add feeds outside of Pintrest Facebook and Twitter

Having issues after purchasing the full version. Free version was working perfect.

Also there are posts appearing that have no relation to the feeds I have set up.

I’ve tried to enable the wordpress feed from a custom post ( slug participation ) and an instagram feed by hashtag.
Instagram works nice but i have no custom post and i don’t understand why.

It seems two feeds in a same stream is the problem. Alone, everything is fine but if i have Instagram and Wordpress in the same stream, no more update of the stream.

I am having an issue with the Flow Flow plugin. When I create a new Stream and add several Social Feeds, I get a red exclamation mark on the “List of your streams” page. If I click into the stream, however, all of the social feeds have a green checkmark. The stream seems to work OK on site, until I add new social feeds to the stream. At that point, I get a red error message at the top of the page that says “If you see this then you’re administrator and Flow-Flow got errors from APIs while requesting data. Please go to plugin’s admin and after refreshing page check for error(s) on stream settings page. Please provide error message info if you’re doing support request.” Once again, I see a red exclamation mark on the “List of your streams” page, but all green checkmarks on the list of feeds. And the newly added feeds never load on the site, it just keeps giving the red error message even after several days. Any assistance you could provide would be appreciated. all available design settings are on plugin’s admin page. You can also add custom CSS, there is field for this.
that’s not possible to show videos for WP posts because this is custom field specific for your theme, our plugin doesn’t process such content, it will need integration and custom coding for this.

Thanks, no success. It is something in public.css. When i remove all css, it displays bad, but it’s visible. It’s a conflict with the bootstrap theme is noticed.

The requirements are met. However, there are known issues with WordPress 4.5 and certain themes and plugins.
I have found that adding the following code to the “functions.php” file of the theme resolves most such problems:

It looks like now all is good. Is there still issue? If you see cache error for long time, most likely you need to reduce LOAD LAST value and increase CACHE LIfETIME in stream settings

hi, i tried the demo, but when i play music from sound-cloud feed, then when i try to navigate away from the post then the music still playing in the background, even if i open post from YouTube the sound-cloud music still playing and i cant hear the 2nd post from YouTube, both playing and that’s detracting… to stop the music from sound-cloud and hear YouTube video i had to refresh the page again …. any comments please !!
