Hi! Long labels in checkbox list are shown on the next line after checkbox. And +/- control also goes to the next line. Example – https://gyazo.com/1a8ddf690ba54040db8475868f26e62c. Is it possible to show all of them in the same row (label in some lines)? How to do it with css?
Hello
Yes, it is possible with CSS, but its individual for each site and css coder will help you, I specialized only in programming …
By the way, if you have short css tasks: https://www.fiverr.com/search/gigs?utf8=%E2%9C%93&search_in=category&source=guest-hp&locale=en&query=css&category=10&sub_category=140&page=1&layout=auto – css works for 5$
Tnx!
Welcome …
Hi Realmag, I have sent you an email with my issues with this plugin. Please help me to solve those.
Hello Cynthia
Answered, write me in the same email chain please …
Using the free version of the plugin, loving it so far! my only issue, it dosent seem to filter on mobile works fine on PC
Hello
Drop me link please, I will look in android… By the way: http://www.demo.woocommerce-filter.com/ – check the plugin demo, maybe your site current theme in conflict with the plugin, or smth – just an idea on the fly …
Hi,
I am testing the free version of your plugin and I would like to buy the full version. However, one thing isn’t working as planned.
We got about 15 categories and each category has subcategories.
Now we would like to create a separate page for each main category with extra text and images. When I enter your shortcodes: woof taxonomies=product_cat:396, the correct products are shown but the filter still shows all categories instead of only category 396 (and subcategories). I managed to ‘get it working’ by adding extra parameters to the url, but that’s not a nice and SEO friendly solution. (I added these param to the url: /?swoof=1&product_cat=aanhangwagens&really_curr_tax=396-product_cat)
Could you help me to set the woof shortcode correctly?
If it works, all is good and then I can buy the plugin.
Thanks
Hello
If you applied special conditions in [woof_products] they should be applied for [woof] shortcode too: http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/documentation/#!/section_3_1 -> [woof sid="auto_shortcode" autohide=0 price_filter=1 taxonomies=product_cat:9]
Hi Realmag,
Thanks for the feedback.
Unfortunately that is not working. Is it useful that I sent you login information to our dev system? Or could it be a bug in the free version?
I must also say it is a third level category, maybe that has something to do with it.
Hello
Of course, send me wp-admin access please and exact link to that page – I will check all …
Hi
I’ve set up a dropdown menu to filter through all product tags. The tags are listed in the order I input them, rather than alphabetically.
How do I change this, please? Thanks.
Hello
Try this hooks in your functions.php to order terms by nameHello, we’ve recently purchased your product and we are very pleased with it. Only that we’d like the following : When you search for ex : 2 room, we’d like to see the products with only 2 rooms in title and not the other products. We’d like an exact search if it’s possible. How can we do this?
Hello
Read this please: http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/filtering-by-product-attribute-doesn-work/ + For more support write me here please: http://codecanyon.net/item/woof-woocommerce-products-filter/11498469/support FROM account you bought the plugin
Hi, I had a question about your plugin. Is it possible to use it in the following way:
I want to filter one category per click, filter in steps as it may. So:
1) Type of product: choose option (filtering going on) > shows new options 2) Type of vehicle: choose option (filtering going on) > shows new options 3) Brand: choose option (filtering going on) > shows new options 4) Year: choose option (filtering going on)
Also important; The thing is that I want the filter in the main sidebar, so should also work even if you’re not an the product page. When you start filtering it should auto render available products for the selected category (and this each step).
In your demo site I see the filter distri country > distri city (becomes active after country is selected). This is exactly what I need. Just need to know how many steps you can create, or is this unlimited?
Thanks in advance!
Andreas
I just noticed in the docs that this feature I’m referring to is with parent > child >sub-child. Can I get the same result as this, but not using parent and child of categories?
As said show one parent category each step, choose a child of this category and let it auto filter. Show a new parent category with it’s children, select an option ETC…
Installed the free version here to test: http://optimate1.typografics.online/
So you can view my category structure.
Thanks
Hello Andreas
No, after you select smth searching will start instantly. One thing is possible only by your scenario it is: http://www.demo.woocommerce-filter.com/working-with-hierarchy-drop-down/ – but its working only for 1 taxonomy drawing ….
products for the selected category – possible -> http://www.demo.woocommerce-filter.com/product-category/clothing/man/ – just enable dynamic recount
need to know how many steps you can create, or is this unlimited – unlimited, but its 1 taxonomy, you want such thing with some taxonomies as I understood …..
but not using parent and child of categories – no
http://optimate1.typografics.online/ – it is multiple select and by logic brand, type and year should be created by custom taxonomies -> use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-post-type-ui/I love the product
I have 2 more questions for you:
1. How can I get the products listed via shortcode to have an orderby or sortby e.g. new/recent, popular or alphabetic?
2. Can I change the sort order of tax_only items by say terms count e.g. Top Term with count on top and so on…?
Please let me know!
Cheers Amit.
Hello Amit
1) http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/shortcode/woof_products/ – use orderby attribute
2) Yes, use this please: http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/hook/woof_get_terms_order/ + http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/hook/woof_get_terms_orderby/
Hi, I want to try your plugin to see if it suits my needs. I´m specially interested in Hierarchy drop-down feature. I see that I can´t try it because it´s not active. Is this behaviour only on my website or it´s normal? Is this active only on the paid version?
I want to set up a three level filter by category in my website.
Hello
Hierarchy drop-down feature is in premium version of the plugin only. http://www.demo.woocommerce-filter.com/working-with-hierarchy-drop-down/ – here is short instruction about using it …
Presale question.
Hi, I have a question regarding permalinks in your interesting plugin.
This is the permalink setting up 2 different filters (price and taxonomy):
...mysite.com/shop/?swoof=1&paged=1&product_cat=cumpleanos&min_price=2&max_price=36
-Is there any way to remove ”?swoof=1&paged=1” from url? -Can “min_price” and “max_price”” be transtated into another language?
regards
In the first question, I mean if it is feasible to remove ”?swoof=1&paged=1&product_cat=”, leaving only the taxonomy “cumpleaños”
Hello
Attributes of the link not possible to remove or rename – they have sense for php code as is …
Hello
thank you for the update, but after updating the plugin, now exclude category items is not working, do you have any idea why that happens?
thanks
Hello
You are right, thank you for report, I will prepare and upload patch today … In folder archive of the plugin bundle you will find previous version of the WOOF if you need roll back …
Thank you for the update
now it can hide category items, good job
Welcome
I am having the same problem as @webmaster_yana and @Coffeecream. Upgraded the plugin from version 2.1.3 to 2.1.4 and it stopped working altogether. I can still access the plugin’s settings from the Wordpress Admin Dashboard, but the shortcode [woof] does not render on page. I’m actively developing a site right now and it does not have any caching turned on at the moment, so caching is not the problem here. As soon as I reverted back to 2.1.3, the shortcodes began working again.
Hello
Just press save button on the settings page of the plugin as I wrote to the users you mentioned …
I did, I read all of the notes/comments. Pressing Save did not resolve the issue.
Odd. I just re-downloaded the update, allowing Wordpress to update it this time. Then went into the plugin settings and hit save again. Seems to be working now. So maybe the error has to do with manually uploading the new version on top of the old one?
Hello
I changed options structure a little. I will investigate how to resolve such case when plugin became disabled on the front after update, but any case its in 1 click resolvable …
I guess no one was planning on responding to me…
Hello
Support is closed, if you sent any request it will be answered already tomorrow …
Update does not work, do I have to un&install it?
Press save on the settings page
When i enabled archives it doesn’t allow the variation options to show lol. Um, I changed my theme to one of the free themes and everything works. So im assuming its my theme that is not compatible to the plugin…
Like everything totally works, but when you add the variations your looking for, it doesn’t cut down your search and only showing the products with the variations you choose in the filter.
Hello
I hope you tested the plugin before bought it. Drop me link here please to understand whats going on …
I never seen an option to test anything on here… My sites not up yet so even if i gave you a link, all you would see is my coming soon page…

Be hurry, today is Friday
Price range filter showing products with wrong prices. Say I have searched for prices from 400-2000, then products having price of 2500 and 4000 are being displayed in search results. Please help to get this resolved.
You can see the issue here – https://www.classystreet.com/product-category/women/?min_price=400&max_price=2000
Having the same issue as webmaster_yana. Widget just does not displayed in sidebar. Thanks.
Hello. Try to press save in settings page
I tried that several times – nothing. I do not see anything about filter in the page source…
Send me wp-admin access http://codecanyon.net/item/woof-woocommerce-products-filter/11498469/support I will look now there
Hello. Try to press save in settings page
It is cache, reset the cache + try to disable chosen in Design tab
No, I did not change anything in the plugin code
woocommerce-products-filter-2.1.2.8.1 – too old
woocommerce-products-filter-2.1.3 has the same problem – in such case trouble not in the plugin – in your theme css, update to the latest version of the plugin and using firebug resolve this css issue
BUT before you upgrade your plugin had no problems !!!!!!!!!!!!
Update to the 2.1.4 and drop me exact link here + clean the CACHE after update!!
when installing it , it adds pagination to shop page , how to remove this pagination?
Is it possible to enable / disable specific filters based on the product category ?
No, but you can assemble filter for each category using this shortcode http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/documentation/#!/section_3_1 in usual text widget and this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/other_notes/
Example: [woof tax_only=’pa_color,pa_size’ by_only=’by_sku,by_author’]
Thanks but I would prefer an integrated method. I’ll continue to use my current filter plugin for now. I prefer yours however that one feature is stopping me from switching.
Hello
By the way thank you for idea – ‘rules for taxonomy terms appearing’, I will review this for the next version of the plugin …
No problem. I believe it would be a great addition.
Thank you
