HI, if i make a new fields in profile user, these custom fields that have already switched are to ” User Pro – > Fields – > Groups & Fields” . After how can i see these fields by my accont admin in wordpress? i didn’f find one part where see these new custom fields. (Also i didn’t see inside user details wordpress). Can you help me please? i know there is followed users activity …but it would be nice when you go to followed users page near the badges to be a little notification with new posts

Hello , WooCommerce is not a membership plugin and upgrading/downgrading membership is not possible, however you can use payment addon for UserPro which does exactly what you want . Thanks :-)

Do you know what is happening?

Hello , I guess this issue is caused because you don’t have proper permission for UserPro folder , hence .htaccess file might not have been created at your end , thus the error meesage . Thanks :-)

Hello, I have two issues to solve. I already tried the code in the documentation for both issues but not working

1) I created custom fields and i cnt get it to show as a filter item in the enhan ced members directory. Also, how i remove the default filter options in the EMD. 2) I am trying to restrict the user post publishing feature so that the sent in post goes is attached to a particular category i specify. The taxonomy tag thing seem not be working.

How can I upgrade to the latest version of UserPro without losing everything I’ve setup in UserPro?

Hello , if you have done any customization in plugin upgrading the plugin will override it but the settings won’t get overridden by update , to update the plugin follow below steps,

1) First you need to download the latest plugin and save in some folder in your system.

2) Take a Backup of old Plugin by renaming it .

3) Go to your WordPress Dashboard -> Click on Plugins Tab -> Add New -> Browse the location of plugin Zip -> Install the latest plugin -> Activate.

4) Then If you want you can delete the older version of plugin .

I’m on a cloud server w/ 4 GB RAM, 40 GB storage, 4 CPU cores, so it has all the tools to handle things. But UserPro is hurting the server.

And with the latest releases, once I navigate to another subsite within the WP Admin, it logs me out to a newly-formed UserPro page for that particular subsite.

Basically, it’s unusable as it is, so I’m hoping the author(s) come up with a fix shortly, as I’ve purchased all of their UserPro add-ons as well. I like the add-ons—when UserPro used to work.

I do have User Profiles Made Easy as well, although I preferred UserPro prior to these latest releases.

I use this on my nonprofit organization’s multisite installation dedicated to criminal justice reform, and it does get traffic … so I’m hoping my ticket from 6 days ago gets answered soon.

The developer believes these issues are just “normal” and “there is no direct solution as far as I can see” and we need to increase our memory settings to solve the problem ourselves. This is what they said

“Many customers has reported that the speed problem has been solved by increasing memory limit or doing some maintenance setting from backend . Yes I agree that there might the issue because UserPro uses many resources and too much of database related operation but as UserPro is rich in functionality , the time taken by UserPro is justified, having said that we need to find our way to optimize so that UserPro uses less resources , I am putting this in our todo list and will have a look at this and find some workaround for this issue , however there is no direct solution as far as I can see.”

I don’t know about you guys but this is unacceptable. The latest version of this plugin creates multiple user pages, brings the server to it’s knees, and (for me) had no fields in the login and registration form. If you’re having the same issues please add your comments – a plugin like this shouldn’t be a huge resource hg should it?

Hey, We have userpro installed to our site, which is hosted on WP Engine. We’ve been experiencing issues with our users logging into our site through the frontend Userpro modules. Whenever someone tries to log in, the page just refreshes. We currently have a different user login plugin installed, which appears to work for the most part (this one also has some minor login issues). However, we’d like to continue using Userpro instead, since it has better features.

We’ve spoke to WP Engine about possible caching issues that are causing the issue with people being unable to log in. On their end, the have already cached the following pages in regards to user login:

^/my-profile/ ^/login/

However, the issues are still occurring. The issues happen. We were especially experiencing issues when the popup login was set up on a ‘free theme’ product page (woocommerce) in which a user is asked to log in to customize the theme. However, the page just refreshes when they attempt to login.

Can you provide a full list of pages/urls that would need to be cached in order to get Userpro working properly?
