Hello. I must say that i really love this plugin. Well done!
I have one small problem. When i choose a variable that shows only one product as a result then all the filters are disappear. Is there any solution?
Thanks!:-)
Hi,
Thank you for the nice words, I’m glad you like the plugin.
Your issue is caused by your theme, as it doesn’t support the templates the WooCommerce Product Filter overrides in order to be shown on your pages. Contact your theme author in order to see if they can help you out with this. Thank you for your understanding.

I would like to change the color of the category text of your filter on the Woocommerce Shop page..Can you help?
Hi,
Customization support is not provided, but I can tell you that you can easily achieve this by adding some custom CSS to your theme’s Custom CSS field. Thank you for your understanding.

Absolutely love this plugin but when using select box with divi theme the woo commerce sale bubbles on products will float above the select box menu. Wondering if this is a known issue or something I need to investigate further on my own. Thank you
Hi,
This is most probably a z-index issue. Try setting lower z-index value for the sale bubbles by using custom CSS until they are behind the filter.

Hello! I bought your plugin expecting a functionality which I asked you before purchase and you confirmed, and now I find out it doesnt work as expected.
I have products with a variation (size) of stock = 0 and they are still being showed when filtered.
This was the only reason for which I bought the plugin after your confirmation, so I expect a solution or my money back.
Here is a transcript of my question before purchase, which I believe was quite clear, and your answer, where you never made clear that it won’t work with stock quantity.
Hello! Pre purchase question:
I have a shoe store, and I want users to filter only shoes that have stock in a certain size on the shop page. Native woocommerce variations wont let me do so, and always show the products in the shop page, no matter stock status for that certain variation. If the product has stock in other variations, it will ignore the filter and show the product.
Can I restrict the display to show only products with that variation that is in stock with your plugin?
For example, filter all shoes that only have stock in size 9.
Thanks in advance,
dzeriho dzeriho AUTHOR 7 days ago Flag Hi,
You commented on the Improved Variable Product Attributes plugin for WooCommerce, but I imagine your question is regarding the WooCommerce Product Filter plugin, right?
The WooCommerce Product Filter will let you filter based on product availability, if a filtered size is not available for a certain product, the filter won’t show that product. Thanks for the interest.

Hi,
Sorry for this misunderstanding. This feature will be implemented in one of the future updates, so you can wait for the feature to be included or you can contact Envato for a refund, as only they can issue refunds.

Hello,
How long do you think this future update can take? A week? A month? A year?
Hi,
Unfortunately, there’s no precise ETA on this feature, but the plugin is constantly updated, so this will also be included. Hopefully within a few months time at most. Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience.

Hi Dzeriho,
I have a couple of troubles with the new version: - On my shop page, when I click on the different available filters twice, there is a superposition of the name of the filter and the options (dropdown) See the page: http://braziltripspecialist.com/shop/ - I can not use ajax as the result is not as my template reasult. See the test page: http://braziltripspecialist.com/test-page/ - I can not use the thumbnail, i have only the text
Looking forward to read from you.
Hi,
Thank you for reporting the overlapping issue. It has been noted and will be fixed in the next update.
As for using AJAX, if your theme doesn’t support the default WooCommerce Product Classes, you’ll need to override them with the ones used by your theme. The override fields are located on the Advanced Options page.

Txs Dzeriho,
Looking forward to get the updated plugin.
One more thing, I am not able to get display the thumbnail, How can I do this? Thank you,
Hi,
On the plugin settings page click on the ‘paint bucket’ icon for the filter where you want to display the thumbnails. When the Style Customizer opens, set the Style to ‘Thumbnails’ and insert the images you want to use for each term and save your settings.

Hi, good to see that the plugin is being updated constantly. However I was hoping that with big update to version 5.0 , there will finaly be adaptive price filter… Moreover, the basic, default price filter of woocommerce IS actualy adaptive. Unfortunately it doesn’t cooperate with the plugin, so they can’t be really used together… Any chance you are working on this and planning to add it to the future updates?
Thank you.
Hi,
There still a lot of work before this functionality can be introduced into the plugin, but it is certainly planned and the plugin developer is working on it. The feature was actually available at one point, but had to be removed due to it causing problems with the ‘By Price’ filter. Please be a bit more patient and thus will be supported in one of the future updates. Thank you for your understanding.

HI,
Do the plugins already supports custom meta keys ?
Hi,
Thank you for the interest in the WooCommerce Product Filter plugin.
Currently custom meta keys are not supported, but this feature will most certainly be included in one of the future updates. However, there is currently no ETA I can give you on this.
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
Thanks, I will wait for it !
HI, I’m using the plugin but Ajax is not working in my theme. I don’t know is theme or plugin settings.
Plugin have problems loading Presets and I have to re-configure all again every time.
Hi,
If your theme doesn’t use the default WooCommerce product classes, you’ll need to override them on the Product Filter Advanced Options page with the product classes used by your theme. If you don’t know what these are, contact your theme’s author regarding this.
As for the filter presets not being saved, make sure you’re using the latest version of the plugin (5.0.1).
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
HI, I think theme use defaults… I have problems with LOAD presets values. How can I send you screenshots?
Hi,
Make sure that you have overridden all the classes with the ones used by your theme. If it still doesn’t work, I suggest you disable AJAX load as this feature might be incompatible with your theme.
Regarding the presets, this issue will be checked further and improvements will be implemented in the next release. Thank you for your understanding.

Your plugins is very very good! I fix the ajax problem.
Question about use: I use the Adoptive Filter hiding not used options (brands in my case) ... If I Use Ajax filter in a category with Brands filter in multi select mode. At the beginning the list Show all brands in this category and not others outside the category… what is ok. But as soon as I select a Brand all other brands are hidded and I can not multiselect!! I can not use the Button to filter. I want all brands in this category visible even when I select another. Can I block the Ajax Filter List update ? where? Css?
Other question. Url with ajax.. can it change automatically?
last: I put your url (the one your filter built) in my menu to select several options of my first list. But after that filter do not filter backwards.. I mean I the url have a Brand I get no brands in my Brand list.. I only can do that Showing Adoptive not used Items.
Thank you for your time! I’m using it with 200000 products and works perfectly!
Hi,
Thank you for the nice words. I’m glad you like the plugin.
1. Try changing the Adoptive Filtering Style from ‘Hide Terms’ to ‘Disabled and unclickable’ or ‘Disabled but clickable’.
2. Ajax can’t change the URL I’m afraid.
3. I don’ quite follow. Can you please explain a bit better or send me the link? Thanks. You can send it to me using the contact form at the bottom of this page codecanyon.net/user/dzeriho if you don’t wish to share it here publicly.

Hi there. Since updating to Woocommerce 2.4.10 the product filter no longer shows up on a Brands archive page (We are using the Brands plugin from Woothemes). It still shows on Category Archives. And I’ve narrowed it down to Woocommerce as we have two websites with the exact same setup, except one hasn’t had Woocommcerce updated (running 2.4.4) and the product filter shows on Brand archives for that site.
Ignore my comment. I worked out what it was. Wasn’t anything to do with the product filter.
Hi,
I’m happy to hear you resolved your issue and that it wasn’t the WooCommerce Product Filter’s fault.
Thank you for using the plugin.

hi, this plugin also allows you to filter the products available to those exhausted within wp-admin?
HI,
Sorry, I don’t understand the question. What do you mean by “products available to those exhausted within wp-admin”?
Thank you for the interest.

I recently asked you about another issue I was having, but was able to resolve it. Thank you.
I am currently having an issue on the mobile use of the plugin. The problem is with interacting with the filters. In order to select one of the filters on mobile I have to push and hold on the check box.
Do you know what could be causing that or how I could resolve it?
Hi,
There are issues for some users on mobile devices. This is being inspected and improvements will be made in the next update. Please be a bit patient and make sure you update your plugin when the new version is released.

Hi there.
Just updated to 5.0.1 and now receiving “Warning: trim() expects parameter 1 to be string” errors and a bunch of others for two of my attribute filters that use thumbnail with text. These errors occur on my localhost testing machine.
I have uploaded a screenshot of the errors :

Thanks, Doug…
Hi,

This plugin has still continued to break our website. We are using the very popular theme, Salient, and any of our Blog displays or Portfolio displays are broken/will not show up when this plugin is enabled. We sent you our login information to our site and have not heard back. We would love to use your plugin and adjust our 1/5 rating but right now it is a complete waste of money on something that just breaks our site. Please help
Hi,
Sorry for the late reply.
I just sent you an email. Please reply, thanks.

Hi,
I just updated the plugin two versions ahead to 5.0.1 and I’m getting this error: http://i.imgur.com/B7yj4EE.png
Help would be appreciated, thanks.
Hi,
Another user has reported this and the issue is being inspected and a fix will be available soon. Please be a bit patient and this will get solved. Thank you for your understanding.
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
Was 5.0.1 meant to fix this? It’s still broken, same issue.
Hi,
No, the 5.0.1 release doesn’t contain the fix for this as it was reported after that version was submitted. The next update will fix this issue. Until then I recommend you avoid using the select box style and revert back once the new update is available. It should be released soon. Thank you for your understanding.

Hi dzeriho!
great filter plugin! i have one question:
i want to use the characteristics filter. can you provide me the code to display the characteristics in the meta box? in my template only the tags are shown. is there a similar code for the characteristics?
e.g.
<?php echo $product->get_tags( ' ', ' ' . _n( $tag_count ) . ' ', ' ' ); ?>
thanks a lot!
regards andi
Hi,
In order to activate the ‘Characteristics’ taxonomy, activate the ‘Use Characteristics’ option on the Product Filter Advanced Options page. After you’ve created some Characteristics and assigned them to your products you will be able to use the ‘By Characteristics’ filter on the plugin settings page as well as assign and Advanced Filter to filter through your Characteristics. Hope this helps.
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
hi, jeah thats great! i found this option. now i want to show the “Characteristics”- Tags on the Product Page like the “normal” Tags. Can you provide me the code snippet to show the characteristics somewhere? i think its something like
<?php echo $product->get_tags( ’ ’, ’ ’ . _n( $tag_count ) . ’ ’, ’ ’ ); ?>
kind regards! andi
Hi,
Characteristics are typical WordPress taxonomies, so you can display hem using the info provided on the following link: https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_terms
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
ah, perfect. one last question: when i call this:
<?php $terms = get_terms( ‘characteristics’ ); if ( ! empty( $terms ) && ! is_wp_error( $terms ) ){ echo ‘
- ’;
foreach ( $terms as $term ) {
echo ‘
- ’ . $term->name . ‘ ’; ?>
}
echo '';
}
it will show me all the characteristics (not the assigned ones to the product). can you provide me the snippet to get only the assigned ones? thanks so much! andi
Hi,
I’m not quite sure, as this functionality is not supported by default and the min plugin developer doesn’t provide support for such customization and use. I suggest you search around on the web about how to display only product specific tags and I’m sure you’ll easily find the code you need.
Kind regards,

Hello,
I recently updated to WooCommerce 2.4.10 and I am currently getting the following error within this plugin: Warning: trim() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/morb/public_html/wp-app/wp-includes/option.php on line 30
Line 30 points to: $option = trim( $option );
The error is shown multiple times next to the drop down options. If I disable the plugin, the errors no longer show.
I am currently using Satellite 7 as my theme, which is stated as supporting WooCommerce 2.4.10.
Do you have any recommendations?
Yes. I am.
I just sent you an email with access details should you wish to view the issue.
Hi,
Thank you for the log in info. The issue will be inspected and I will get back to you as soon as there are news to report.

Hello,
I am using the product filter inside a category page in Ajax mode.
When I choose to filter by category which is different from the category page I always get No Product Found.
Is there a way to redirect the category page to the category chosen in the filter?
Hi,
Do you have the ‘Multi Select’ feature enabled on your Categories filter? If so, try changing the ‘Multi Select Relation’ option for that filter. You can also try enabling the ‘Force Filtering Through Categories’ option on the Product Filter Advanced Options page.
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
Hey, I really hope you can help me here, If I select size ‘S’, and color ‘pink’, it does filter the items, but I would like it so that once these options are selected, the size/colour of the product changes too. (I’m useing your other plugin too – Improved Variable Product Attributes)
When I just use the filter for the example above, this is how the filtered options look: http://thefactshop.wpengine.com/product-category/mens/mens-t-shirts/?pa_color=pink&pa_size=small — However, this is how I want it to look: http://thefactshop.wpengine.com/product-category/mens/mens-t-shirts/?attribute_pa_color=pink&attribute_pa_size=small&pa_color=pink&pa_size=small&widget_search=yesAs you can see, the size & color options have been selected showing the correct image & allowing you to add the pink, small t-shirt straight to your cart.
If it’s not something that this plugin currently does, it would amazing for a future update as that would mean both your plugins work extremely well together.
Thanks, Luke
Hi,
Have you enabled the ‘Use Variable Images’ option on the WooCommerce Product Filter Advanced Options Page? This should let you achieve what you are trying to do.
