Hello,
I’m using your plugin on a multi site install.
On the main site it appears correctly, however on secondary site installs it just crashes the entire website showing a completely blank page with no html in it.
Can you please advice what to do?

If I deactivate the plugin, then I can see the secondary site as well.

chrome console says a file is missing, I checked, this file is not also in the archive, so it is not a caching issue.

I honestly need help with this. I did what you recommended: cleared everything (databases, files, etc) and added the latest 2.1.1 version but I still have issues with the stream updating. It is updating (maybe) once a day instead of each 20 minutes. Same feeds, version 1.4.11, updated more often (a couple of times a day). This is why I doubt is the server. How can we troubleshoot this? You have access to the website (tvpmagazine.com).
I am going to try again the 1.4.11, will restore it as it was a month or so ago with the same streams, to make sure are not the feeds’ fault. Will let you know. Dont do any change to our site please.
Ok here’s an update on this:
1. I removed all the Flow-Flow databases. Removed the plugin.
2. Added the 2.1.1 version through FTP. Activated it. Got an error: The plugin generated 199 characters of unexpected…...
3. I did the same for version 1.4.11, from scratch, everything (removed databases, removed the 2.1.1 plugin files). It gave me no error on activation, but when trying to deactivated it, it gave the same error.
In both cases the only way to remove the Flow plugin was via FTP.
So, forget about the feeds for now, let’s see what is the issue with the plugin itself that gives those errors. Perhaps that’s why the feeds don’t update properly.

Hi, we can’t confirm issues with deactivation, check your caching or something. Updating issue you’re experiencing is because 1) you have huge amount of feeds in one stream 2) some feeds can have errors (config or other) which will hang update process causing stack overflow . We don’t make any big refactoring in 2.x in comparison to 1.4. Huge refactoring was before 1.4 which is midstep to 2 version. You can call 2.0 version stable 1.4 version.
As we said earlier we want to improve indication for problem feeds and see how it’s going for you

Hi there – not sure what happened. Seems to have been working fine up until now. When I visit my site without logging in the social stream does not load. But when I’m logged in, it loads. I’ve tried multiple browsers and computers. Might you know what the issue is? I’ve even deleted and re-installed the plugin. Thank you.

I just downloaded this plugin and installed it on wordpress. When I got to “settings” to set up the plugin, I get a white screen. I now notice in the comments that this has happened to a lot of other people to. How can I get a refund? The plugin doesn’t seem to have any functionality at all.

The first error I got for most of the versions 2 of the plugin. When I installed an older 1.4.11 version i got no such errors, but when I went to the admin area and added all the proper authentication details I always got an error from FB for the plugin saying that I did not add the correct credentials even though I did.
I am willing to add all my 100+ feeds and settings again if we can make this plugin work properly. I see many others complain about the latest versions. Cheers.

ok thank you. I will try this one and add all feeds. I see though this ”! Extended token is not generated, Facebook feeds might not work” yet my token expires in a month or so. I hope there is no issue.
Extended token can be reset after you cleared all DB. Try to hit Save settings on auth page
ive done that already but i still see that message. you have access, please have a look. i am concerned that adding all 100+ feeds again with that error is not a good idea, better fix it before that. i was already adding the feeds so i am waiting for you to have a look before continuing.

I just purchased your Flow Flow Social Stream-Plugin for wordpress for a customer of mine, because it looks really awesome.
Right after installing the plugin I was asked – as usually – to activate the plugin. And after activating, the complete website is just white/blank. Do you have any idea on how I get your plugin to work?
Wordpress is running in the newest version. I make use of the Divi-Template by elegantthemes and I have installed some other plugins (Relevanssi Pro, Bookshelf, Essential Grid, Monarch, and some others.) None has ever produced an error like this before.
Any idea or help is appreciated.

thanks for the update here and the updated versions. The very first version I had installed was version 2.1.2 and there I got a white screen after activating the plugin. I installed the various steps (2.1.3, 2.1.4 and 2.1.5 up to 2.1.6) and now there is a different problem:
I authenticated Twitter, Facebook, Google+/Youtube and Instagram and everything seemed to be fine with that. Even after adding one feed (twitter) to my (one) social stream, the plugin was working well. It showed me the green ok sign and calling the page where I had put the shortcode on delivered the results of that feed/stream.
Then, after adding a second Twitter feed to that exactly one stream, turned the green ok signal into the red one with the exclamation mark. When I try to call that page, I get a textmessage that says somtheing like “the items are going to be cached right now and I should reload the page”. Reloading doesn’t help and doesn’t change anything here. Even waiting for the set cachetime counting down to zero and reloading the page after that doesn’t bring up any updates. The social wall will stay in that exactly state and do nothing anymore.
So I tried to delete the first feed item to see if there were any errors with the second one. After reloading the page with the shortcode, the page showed me the results of just the second (and now only) feed item in the stream. So everything was set up correctly with that stream.
Then I tried to add the first one again and there we go, the red sign comes along and no feed updates will be collected or shown.
This is also the same when I add feed items of other social networks to the stream.
What am I doing wrong? Or how can this be fixed?
BTW.: When I add all the feed items that I want to have in the stream, then delete the plugin from my wordpress installation and reinstall ist right after deleting it, then all feed items are collected correctly for just one time, but there will be no updates.

When I install the plugin while using PHP 5.4 and click on settings I get a white screen.

Just a reminder to please make the plugin display what feed gives errors and update the feeds that give no error, so that an error to one feed won’t hold back the entire stream. I have over 100 feeds as you may know as I mentioned many times, and even if I know what feed gives errors, it may be because the server can’t connect to it that day, so you need to make the plugin ignore the errors and update the rest of the feeds. Error feed shouldn’t interrupt updating of other unless it hangs whole process. We’ll look into this

Hello, did you installed 2.1.2? It seems there is fatal error. You see white screen because WP_DEBUG is set to false in wp-config.php, please set to true.
