Hi…any news on a fix for the firefox issue with the Single Image element I have tried the temp suggested fix of adding .wpb_single_image .vc_figure { max-width: 100%; } to the custom CSS, but it doesn’t seem to work. I have had to disable quite a bit of our site until there is a fix for this bug

I was about to purchase VC but read on a review that it leaves “horrible” amount of short codes behind..I understand that people may have their opinions but could you pl explain the actual situation from your point of view? I like your plugin. Thanks.
Hello, Visual Composer uses native way of WordPress which is based on shortcodes. When you create layout with VC you create it with the help of shortcodes – so there are shortcodes presented of course, but this is just like any other plugin which uses native WordPress way. I believe this is more related to what one think about the shortcodes as such.

Hi,
I think you have a bug with Single Image shortcode when you set full image size and add that shortcode into columns (Firefox browser). Because figure element around image doesn’t have any width attribute and image overlap content in next columns.
In mine case this is the fix for this issue.
.wpb_single_image .vc_figure {
max-width: 100%;
}

Hello, I’ve purchased a WordPress theme with VC. However, I ran into the following error within the VC template:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_row_css_class() in /home/html/wp-content/themes/housebuild/vc_templates/vc_row.php on line 29
Can you pin point me how to get this get_row_css_class() to work with VC 4.8?
Hello, did not had such error with default version. Maybe theme author overwritten some row functions – I would suggest you contacting theme author as in your case support is managed by theme author. Or you can consider purchasing direct license for VC to access official support.

Hi,
I don’t want a non-administrator user to have access to the back end, the problem is: ’Edit with Visual Composer’ which normally appears on the admin toolbar in the front end only appears when logged in as administrator. How can I get the ’Edit with Visual Composer’ button to be active in the front end for a non-administrator user if I don’t have the top panel activated? Thanks

Hello, you can manage user roles in WP Admin – Visual Composer – Role Manager and restrict Backend or even Classic Editor for certain user groups and leave only Frontend editor enabled.

Hi, I have only frontend editor enabled the question is, how I can see the ’Edit with Visual Composer’ link in top panel if I have top panel deactivated for logged in users? is there other way to activate the editing with VC without clicking this link or its mandatory to have the top panel activated to use VC?

Hello, Visual Composer uses featured image defined within post so you need to edit this image to see changes in VC.

How can I custom links of my 3 pictures under the section “on en parle” ? In fact, links are added by default. Hello, the link option of Media Grid can be managed by editing grid item template in Grid Builder, please visit our kb at kb.wpbakery.com to see how to work with Grid Builder. As for transferring CSS – there is no such option in VC so you will need to perform custom coding there.

Hello, if you got VC within a theme there is no option to update directly. For direct updates of Visual Composer you need to consider purchasing direct license.

Hi Raitis…as I purchased this with the theme I can’t lodge tickets with you guys. The theme guys are blaming my host that they are blocking scripts to be loaded…but that’s not the case..they are saying it’s the issue with plugin…any chance you can assist. I would really appreciate it as this is ridiculous.
Also the issue happen after we uplaoded the new version of composer when envato notified us that we should as there were security issues. Before we didn’t have these issues.

the image carousel does not operate well as a gallery slider with lightbox effect – if you want to show them as say 6 or more thumbnails in a slider, they show up as tiny crops of the full view (instead of a thumbnail) which then blow up in a lightbox to full size.
How can i get thumbnails in the slider at a smaller size (say 160×120)? Is there some sort of setting that I am not seeing?
Hello, Image Carousel is really outdated element so I would suggest you stick to the Media Grid with which you can easily replicate image carousel style.

There is a bug after you latest update… When i divid the raw to 6 than images not showing up as full but only small icons. Problem is not there when i divide it to 4 in each raw

Hi, can you tell me what benefit using Visual Composer has over using a theme like Avada, Divi, X, etc ? In other words. Those themes have built in page builders of their own. Whereas Visual Composer is a stand alone page builder meant to be used with any theme.
