I can’t find the error line, but I did some tests and I’m sure it’s in that file
By default there are no margins in between columns. When I edit the column to add any type of margin the column wraps. Is it not possible to add a 10 px margin to each column?

Hi,
I’d like to use 3rd party shortcode in a VC “Single image” element to define what it has to display.
I found I can select Image source now: 1) Media Library, 2) External link 3) Featured image
The closest I want is selecting Featured image, but in my case I want to display an image-type custom field, related to a custom post type,defined in a 3rd party plugin, what I can call with a shortcode of this 3rd party plugin.
Can I do it? If not, I think that would be a nice feature!

Hello, there is no such option available out of the box, but you can use our API – described at kb.wpbakery.com to enhance elements of VC. Nevertheless please take into account that you will require good coding skills.

When you design a layout with Visual Composer and want to optimize this layout also for a good mobile representation can you handle in which way the grid is beeing arranged on mobile? So “right to left” and “left to right” ?
Hello, right now there is only standard left to right stacking option available in VC, but we have plans to look into this together with RTL.

Hello, it could be due to JS conflict – try to disable all other plugins and see if VC works properly, if yes, activate them one by one to determine which one causes conflict. If this is not the case – open support ticket at support.wpbakery.com and share your site credentials or if you got VC within a theme you will need to contact your theme author for support.

I Cannot update the post’s content via VC, i type my text on the WYSIWYG editor and hit ‘Save Changes’ yet nothing is updated. only if I switch to the ‘text only’ tab and back to the editor and only then hit save, it updates the page’s content. Hello, in order to have direct update option for Visual Composer you need to consider purchasing direct license for VC. If received within a theme there is no direct update option – all updates are managed by theme author.

Hi I have purchased VC which is great, but the theme I am using Flex has a wallpaper ad in the background with 1200px width of page content, but woth VC it is making the width bigger than 1200px which is no good for the WP ad. Is there a way to make it so that max width is 1200px and retain the responsiveness
Hello, in fact – Visual Composer uses space defined by your WP theme as content area so you should look into theme customization options for this one.

Hi
I just used cornerstone from theme.co on X theme, and realized I was able to disable certain columns or elements based on the device that user is accessing. For eg, i have a image in one column and text in another, i can disable the image when user checks my site on mobile. Is it possible to achieve that using visual composer? If yes, how? Can you please point me to the right tutorials? Thanks!
When I add elements in two columns it works fine in desktop. but on mobile when it gets stacked, the bottom one does not have enough padding on the top which really have a bad design. how to address this ? Thanks!

Hello, yes – you can disable certain columns on specific devices – I believe cornerstone borrowed this idea from VC actually

I bet they must have, and I absolutely believed you might have already covered that, since you were the game changer. Now I realize, I have been noticing that responsive options but it’s not very user friendly for some reason. For example, offset is a technical word to me, which always made me think -dont mess with it. That was the reason. I will take a shot using this functionality and see what i could.
1 qq. Is it possible to put the image overlay as a foreground? or right aligned to add some dynamics to the content?

Hi there. We are testing VC (which we love and use with many themes) with a theme that did not come with it. It mostly works great, but tabs and accordion functions do not. http://knock.theleftlane.com/education/parents/ is a test page
My guess is something from the theme is interfering with VC’s code. Can you point me in the right direction

I’m having another issue. I keep seeing a horizontal scroll bar on pages I build with visual composer. Is there a way to get rid of it. When I set margin to 0px the page get shorter than the length of the screen. I just want a background that will show throughout the length of the page without being too short and without horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the page.

Disabled every thing except WPBakery Visual Composer Version: 4.8.0.1 ran it on Twenty Twelve Version: 1.8 WP Version 4.3.1. I console logged the following error when launching the fron-end modal editor:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘view’ of undefined
This is in the custom_views.js v1.1 line # 31
Code that is highlighted is:

Hi there, I purchased a theme bundled with Visual Composer. My version of VC is 4.7. Although i setup everythng right in my VC Post Masonry Grid settings, my portfolio items do not display on screen. Hello, I would recommend updating VC up to the latest version and if problem still exists ask your theme author to look into this for you as in such case support is managed by theme author or you can consider purchasing direct license for VC to unlock access to official support of WPBakery

I use a countdown timer (http://codecanyon.net/item/the-countdown-pro/3228499) but it doesn’t display the clock if I build a page with visual composer – It generates the shortcode but the timer doesn’t work. On top of that everything disappears from the page after the page loads fully. The countdown timer works if I build a page in the default wordpress text/visual page builder but if I load the shortcode using the same text element in visual composer it doesn’t. Has anyone else experienced this? Please advise.
