I am so disappointed! I can’t use the plugin with the standard [gallery] shortcode, where I’m able to drag and drop order. Instead, I have to get hokey and change file names to display in certain orders. This is a terrible flaw in the design of the plugin. Will not be using for very long, since the wordpress user I installed for thinks this is way too complicated.

When I’m adding a new blogpost using essential grid, sometimes blogpost link goes to 404 error. Everytime it happens we will go to the permalinks and save it. There’s anybody experience the same ? Any suggestions how fix this issue, so we can’t do it repeatedly.

Great versatile plugin. I have a custom post type in my grid, but on the custom post type editor there is no “Set Post as Gridfx Sticky” meta box.
Is there a filter I can hook into to have the meta box appear in the post editor of my custom post type? Or is there possibly a way to edit the shortcode so that I can force a post with a particular ID to be sticky?

Hello , GridFx already have liking functionality builtin and also can be sorted based on like count , I am afraid sorting cannot be achieved based on like count made by other plugin as it maybe using some other meta name to store the like count . Thanks

Hi .. yes, I assumed that but I’m not sure how that integrates with your plugin .. in other words … assume vanilla wordpress … purchase of gridfx … existing soundcloud account … id there a shortcode [ gridfx ????] that does this? I can’t imagine there is, but, your plugin specifically says it displays soundcloud files, so, just trying to work out specifically what is done by your plugin and/or what coding, implementation would be required outside of the vanilla wordpress, your plugin and the soundcloud account … hope that makes more sense?
Hi I have an issue with the Grid FX when you use any pagination(arrow or pagination) and you resize the navigator window after use pagination all the grid is broken. I use in a clean installation or WP and have same trouble
You can see the problem in your demos in the first sample of woo commerce you click the arrow 1 time and then resize the navigation window and all the grid will broken.

Hello, I have a multilingual site, translated by WPML, and I have a problem with showing posts for translated terms. The grid works fine for terms in original language (parameter include_terms). I took the same shordcode, changed term_id to the id of the translated term but: the grid is empty, even if there is definitely a post connected to this translated term.
Is there a solution to this? Did I miss something to get GridFX working with translated terms?

You can create video gallery with Grid Fx – http://userproplugin.com/gridfx/videos/. But it starts playing at the same place and not in light box & you can not add description. But this a nice feature – adding in list. Thanks

Hi, I installed the plugin and trying to test it out on a page however I noticed that each image is more washed out and when I hover over the image and go near the like (heart button) or comment button it blinks like crazy. I have disabled a few of the plugins on the site that could possible be creating this issue since this plugin has ajax. It somewhat rectified the spacing and layout of the images but I still have this constant crazy blinking when I hover over the image to either ‘like’ or ‘comment’. If someone can please help me resolve this issue, I would greatly appreciate it!

Yes , of course Gridfx provides settings at backend to achieve this, goto backend>Gridfx>Settings>Grid View > Show/hide the transparent layer on each item , change this setting , this should do it . Thanks
