I’d recommend you BeCarRental Theme ( http://themes.muffingroup.com/be/carrental/ , and set color theme to red – click on the “Gear” icon, then in in that menu click on “Backgrounds” square button, and enter this color code # “DE2E2F”. ) from BeThemes 105 theme pack ( http://themeforest.net/item/betheme-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/7758048 ), and plus install Free “Font Awesome Icons” WordPress plugin ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/font-awesome/ ). Or your can use Free “Cherry Framework” theme, but I like BeTheme much more. The third option would be “Avada Theme”.

Hi. Good day. I have a question. Is possible to change ID order in cars list? When I upload a new vehicle,this new one, remains in the bottom of the list, so if i want to manage according to the price list, it does not work for me. I tried changing in “all cars description”, display and reserve order, but still doesn´t work. Is there a way? Thank you
In the new CRS V4 version, we already solved this – cars are been ordered by Manufacturer ASC, Car Model ASC. So with V4 this will be solved already

Hi, I went on and purchased the car rental theme you recommended. but I’m still having the issue where when using the home screen “search widget” I get nothing. Should I have more than one car? And also when I add the code [cmb_rental_system list=”classified-cars”] to my cars page and select the car I don’t see the drop off location. When I go into the back office I have noticed that everytime I opened the car details page the drop off selection is not selected, it does not remember.
For the drop-off in CRS V3, please delete car and add a new car for that case (we already know about that bug, and it is fixed in CRS V4). Or wait for CRS V4 update, which is coming this week. You must have dropoff locations assigned. In any other case I can’t advice anything else than wait for couple more days, to get V4 update.

It does work for sure, as you see in a demo. There was some bug found related to editing car in admin, but that’s already fixed in CRS V4. So you will get it with update.

[cmb_rental_system reserve=”car”] is the right short code. Make sure you have not set your ‘blog’ as your home. I mean it has to be installed on a page, not a post. As you see in demo – it works. So it a wrong configuration of your site setup you made

Hi, Modada, Yes, you can use any theme with my plugin it should work (we tested it that it works with partner templates, i.e. BeCarRental for BeTheme design, so it should work with your theme as well). Also, if your theme do not support FontAwesome icons you can install Free “Font Awesome Icons” WordPress plugin ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/font-awesome/ ). Then you will see it. For the WooCommerce support – I agree with the need of that and we already planned WooCommerce support for uncoming releases. Also, we 95% done with CRS V4 version, which is a MAJOR upgrade. It will be published to CodeCanyon this week. Hi, George, You can add google Analytics tracking for each step of booking. Steps are named by file, i.e. /car-rental-system/front/templates/template.step1. ... then templates/template.step2. etc.

2nd, I what to put this kind of tracking https://goo.gl/AmDf3 and I nead some php variables in order to generate corect javascript code that push data to google analytics (bookingId, car name, total price, days etc). It’s better to put it in Thank You Page or execute a function that generete analytics code in TYP.
3th, you have a bug on line 650 in file class.CRSAdminCore.php.
For Php variables, please use something like $crsSearch->bookingID etc. There’s a bunch of them to pass. As for small bugs, we are not doing any more changes to V3.3. CRS V4 is almost done, it’s a major upgrade, and it will be submitted for testing withing 24 hours. Hi, azizhh, icons is made on FontAwesome. So you have to get a design, which supports FontAwesome icons (like Avada, Cherry Framework). BeTheme does not support font-awesome, but they have their own icons ( http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/shortcodes/typography#icons ), so if you use BeTheme, you can change to these icons.
Alternatively you can install Free “Font Awesome Icons” WordPress plugin (
https://wordpress.org/plugins/font-awesome/ ), if your theme does not support font-awesome.
If you want to change used FontAwesome icons to other FontAwesome icons, you can edit template files, i.e. ‘front/templates/template.car-list.php’

Well, you can use Paypal. Or give you bank details next to “Bank payment”. In the future, we will have a “WooCommerce” integration, where you can use any payment method. Or, after you will buy a plugin, you can order a custom work from our partners – PublicPaint.EU – they will give a quote for that feature and will make you a specific Dutch Payment system integration.

For the issue about pickup location. Make sure you’ve added them, and the selected them. It should work, it worked for others (at least when adding new car, not editing). If there is an issue, you will have to wait for this week plugin major upgrade and check if there is any issues still there.

Well, over PayPal you can pay with your bank car (even without PayPal account). So this can be Visa, Mastercard or any other. Also, if you will get this plugin now, you will get lifetime support, so we will do WooCommerce integration later (which do support any payment method over extensions). Also we will allow from next release even put “Bank details” information on last step, so that people car do a manual bank transfer.

Hi, filipos, in next 2-3 days we are doing a major upgrade for this plugin, so we also add units management, so it will fit your needs for sure. If you buy this plugin now, we make sure that in the next week release we will allow to manage fields used for search, so that you could hide the the fields you don’t need for search. And for time, we will put an ability to set booking duration (1 hr, 2 hr, etc.), if you will need, instead of drop-off date. And even now you can do many things with this plugin.
I would appreciate a demo page or demo administration, but it looks interesting now. Next possibility for a bike rental simply for bikes at once offer additional selectable components: helmet, lock, light, discount code… Some components for a refundable deposit only.
You can add extras, i.e. “White Helmet – 10 EUR”, in step 3. And from upcoming (~Monday) release, we event adding a unit management for cars and extras, so you can add “3 unis of White helm”, and you can set that per day, per hour or per booking. So all this will be possible.
P.S. Great point about “refundable deposits for extras” – if you will buy this plugin now, I will for sure included that feature in Tuesday’s release (you will be able to set deposits for some extras, you need).

maybe the example of cabriolette was not the right one, the right example could be steel wheels or leader inside, etc..
You can book two different cars. And them can be on the same order. Also you can do two order. But anyway, because in booking data we have a list of car id’s, like ‘1,5,9,2’ it’s not hard to allow ‘1,1,1,5’, so we can easily add a feature for next update to order more than one unit of car if you will buy this plugin now.
As for the extras, cabrio and sedan has to be in two different car categories. You should use car categories feature for that. For leather inside, you can add an ‘extra’ for a car, i.e. ‘leather seats’ with extra price i.e. 10 USD, or for free, and person just checkbox that. You will never get out of stock for extras. If you can’t fit in extras, you probably need to add a 2nd car.
But you should try using the plugin, I’m pretty sure you will find a way to fit your needs, and for some tweaks we will help you out, my friend

About the extras options, Actually I was reffering not to extras, they are different cars, so normally they should be simply another car… I know that, but I´m thinking to use your system to rent golf sets, and some sets have a last option to be graphite or steel, and I have for example 2 of graphite and 3 of steel of the same set. So This I can solve it as I said just making diferent sets, but it would be nice to make it like our competitors on http://clubstohire.com. This feature would be good but is not 100% necesary for me.

Sure, I’m giving you 100% guaranty that you will be able to choose quantity of unit since July 18th . We are adding a new setting in plugin administration for July 18th release, with this option:
Q: How many cars/units can be booked on same booking?
1. Single car, single unit
2. Single car, multiple units
3. Multiple cars, single unit (default)
4. Multiple cars, multiple units
And I have two more great news for you – I will definitely take a look to an ability for ‘car feature options’ with units management in additional to regular car feature list with units in stock assigned. So you may have a new ‘Car feature options’ page in plugin administration, where you will be able to set possible options for each car feature, feature option additional price (or free if you set 0,00), and quantity, of how many cars with that feature is available (an exact number, or all). So this is my plan for not next, but for End of August release (or sooner).
And the second great new is that we will be build an amazing design for the plugin and website called ‘Golf Cars Rental Theme’ based on Free “Cherry Framework” theme and it will be included into plugins package, which for sure will look much better than your competitors http://www.clubstohire.com/ website theme. Hi, Santukon, well we thought we are ‘smart’ on doing that interface, but appears people have other needs. You are 2nd client who requested that. And we have already planned an option in settings – “Show prices with discount only at checkout”: Yes / No. Also we adding another feature – ability to set diferent discounts and different durations for separate cars. All this will be included in July 18th release.

About timming, is easy, for example, our oppening times are from 9:00 am until 14:00 and 17:00hs until to 20:00 hs.And about the 1 step of the booking, if there´s no location opened at 1am there shouldn´t be the option to select it.Thanks

Hello Kestutis, Sorry for so many messages, but there´s a little problem, and is the following: On some “cars”, when I select the drop-off location, is not beeging saved, is strange, I save it, come back, and is not selected, and after, you cant book it for that reason.

Hi, Santiago, To answer the 1st question – yes, this plugin is easily adoptable to many purposes. Also it has very well written and structured OOP inheritance code, templates, css, and language files are separate from code, so you can tweek your plugin very easily. As for the 2nd question – avoiding pickup and dropoff locations, you can leave only one location, then it will be just a text, not a dropdown, and the with CSS you can easily hide that field. Also in the next update (July 18th) we already have planned to included options to select which fields to use & show in booking process. So this will help you pretty well.
As for plugin administration review – please see the plugin screenshoots. I’ve added nearly 20 screenshoots from the plugin administration.

You can use plugin on any theme. We will be providing car rental lite theme based on Free Cherry Framework theme since next update (July 18th). Now it’s just a plugin which works well. But the plugin itself has a design. As for for WooCommerce – you will be able to use regular WooCommerce plugin, and then instead of our payment options on that step, if you will enable ‘woocommerce integration’ option, your car order will be added to the WooCommerce cart to process the order. And client data in that case will be WooCommerce users, not CRS users. So if you will then have a specific WooCommerce option, i.e. Paysera payment extension for WooCommerce, it will work. That’s the plan for 4.0.
To answer other questions:

Not sure about this question. Probably you can’t. You have to go over booking process, or you have to submit all POST parameters needed for final step (you still need an HTML form for that.

Currently the prices are same for all payment methods. But that’s a good point. We will probably will add this in the one of next releases or when we will allow WooCommerce integration.

As I answered before, currently no, the fee is always the same for all booking modes. But you can use a fee.

Not yet. You can do that via Paypal. In the future – 4.0 version – we will have WooCommerce integration, so then you will be able to use any payment methods you want, with different fees.

Good question. It should work. If it won’t work, we will make it work for next (July 18th update). Nobody asked for this specific feature before, but theoretically it should work even now.

- About the backend booking, is not a big problem, they can do it in the frontend like a normal client.
- So about the time ranges, you mean, they are not fixed ranges and I can set them up, right?

For the time ranges, yep, you can add time ranges yourself in plugin administration.
You should get this plugin now, test it, check maybe you need some more very important features or so, that you can write me an email, and we may be able to include them in the next plugin update.
Great plugin but seem to be having a little trouble with two thing.
The close day setting. I can select the dates I want but when I click save the button doesn’t do anything and the page doesn’t save.
Also, the car price plan settings seem to hang (the red progress bar just keeps moving) when I select a car from the drop down. I can seem to enter a new car price plan via the green button but i know this is an additional price plan and not the main one. Also, even if I do that, when I go back in and select a car from the drop down it just hangs anyway.
I also can’t seem to save a drop off location in the edit car mode. I can select it ok but when I save it and go back into it the drop off location has been deselected.
Hi, jrwebsolutions, good catch for ‘close day setting’. We will make that setting work starting next update (July 18th), appears that now you can not use it yet. As for price plan – well, we tested that many times, and appears that after last update I probably broke something, so we will patch this within next week or sooner. As for ‘can’t seem to save a drop off location in the edit car mode’ – I’ve just tested on more time – it works. You can also give me your website link and booking id via CONTACT AUTHOR. So that I’d double check on your website as well.
Ok the price plan & close day are important issues so those being fixed will make the whole system work properly. Although the site is due to go live tomorrow so the timing is not ideal.
Also the ability to save a drop off location for a car is definitely not working for me. I’ve tried different browsers and get the same issue. As for the bugs – both – Close Day setting and Price plan setting bugs are now patched and just submitted to Envato team for review. So today it should be updated on the Code Canyon as well. I will keep an eye open for the plugin fixes and if you can help with the warnings/404 error when I try to search & select a booking that would be much appreciated because I’m stumped and it’s holding up the official site launch. I’m not a developer, rather a product manager so I’m usually working on the CMS rather than the code itself. If there’s anything I need to know in terms of version requirements (PHP, Wordpress etc) please let me know and I’ll check to see which versions I have.

Cool that’s great and thanks for your help with the plugin/theme conflict issues. Whilst it might be a specific issue with mine it would still be good for you guys to learn how the plugin interacts with different themes so we will hopefully both get something out of it.
With regards to the updated plugin, should I delete the existing plugin and reinstall? The reason I ask is that it’s not giving me the option to update the plugin so I’d assume it needs to be reinstalled completely.
No, you don’t need to delete. Just drag and drop. And in the future, when we will have SQL changes made, you will see ‘Click to update the SQL version’ button in plugin administration. There will never be need of reinstall or delete. Just drag and drop updated plugin files on top.

The following are a couple of bugs that I’ve come across and also a couple of suggestions to improve the plugin.
Bugs – Might be an incorrect admin setting (looks correct to me) but for some reason my grand total becomes £0.00 despite the price of a rental being calculated in the gross total.
Also, the bug I mentioned with the drop off location being removed from a car, thus making it unavailable to book is still there. However, it only happens if I try to edit a car rather than when I add a new car. If I add a new car from stratch it works, however, if I then want to go back in and edit the car again the drop off location is being removed. I can work around this bug for now but just letting you know.
Those are 2 bugs for me that I’m having trouble with.
Suggestions
For the extras it would be nice to be able to give the option of pricing per booking rather than just per day. For example, if I want to rent a car for 10 days, hiring an extra sat nav system for example would cost a set fee of £20 for the entire rental period, as opposed to be currently getting charged £20 per day. Some extras might be charged per day but there are some that would only get charged once for the booking.
Another suggestion I’ve had is to allow to add opening hours per day. This applies to my business as the opening hours are the same for Monday to Friday but on Saturday they shut early. Again, this is just a suggestion rather than a bug.
Email notification – Currently go to the customer with the sender showing as ‘Wordpress’ as opposed to ‘Company Name’ . Am I doing something wrong or is this setting not available to change? If not I think it should be added as it makes it look more professional.
Styling – What’s the best way to change the styling in terms of colours, buttons etc?

Hi, my friend, for styling you should override in theme style.css file plugin CSS classes, or in plugin’s front/css/style.css file. The sender of email is your website author name and website name, used in WordPress web admin. If this doesn’t work, let me know or send me a screenshot.
Good point about extra price per booking, we will probably make that feature for August update.

The main bug for me is the total price calculation as that is the only one stopping me letting the company go live with the site as you users will think they are getting the car for £0. Cheers again.

Hi, Pre-sale question: is there an availability calendar? For example, the customer would select the motorcycle or car FIRST (based on make/model), and then be able to choose dates from a calendar that displays when/if a car/bike of that model is available. On the admin end, you’d be able to enter the make/model (Example: BMW/F650GS) and how many you have in your fleet, and then the calendar would manage availability. As I re-read my question, I’m not sure if it makes sense – let me know and I’ll clarify. If it does make sense, will this plugin fit the need? Thanks in advance!
