Might prove to be a red herring, but v1.2.2 appears to have a problem calling the javascript datepicker routine when hosted on Ubuntu 16.04, but not when hosted on 14.04.

Hi there,

Received you email. As stated in the email, another user has reported the issue too and we’re looking into it.

I doubt is happening because of the OS. Although we’ve tried it on our end and its working fine so its a little odd.

What browser are you using and what version?

The problem is fixed. When I went to check browser versions for you this morning, one had cured itself, so I investigated further…

It was a browser caching issue.

We experienced the problem on Windows7/IE11, Ubuntu16.04/Chrome56, Ubuntu16.04/Firefox51

Flushing all W3TC caches or even disabling the W3TC plugin had made no difference.

But a browser flush of cached files did the trick.

Must have been cached javascript libraries from the previous version of Partial Orders conflicting with changed code.

Hi there,

Glad you found the cause. I’ll make a note and send something out to other having the same problem.

Just wondering what new functionality the new update provides?

Hi there,

The update fixes a few bugs (namely setting multiple items as shipped) and brings the plugin update to date for Woocommerce 2.6 and 2.7 (to be released soon).

Theres no new features that you can see in this update (unless you look under the hood) but there will be in the next one.

Hello, I just updated the plugin but it is not working now.. Please let me know if there is some kind of bug in the new version. Thanks.

hello,

Just wanted to check and see if any updates? I really need this plugin and have disabled it due to the issue. thanks!

Hi there,

An update was released a little while ago that had the fix fr this included. Have you updated the plugin?

Hi,

When I shipped the item can I also select a shipping address?

Please see screenshot http://prntscr.com/e8hvka

If not anything you can recommend?

Thank you

Hi,

Did you receive our email about the custom work above?

Thank you

Hi there,

We replied to your email on Feb 22nd, but there was no mentioned of custom work in it. We’ve had no other email from you since then.

Okay I will email again using the contact form on your profile page.

Hi Guys…. does this plugin work with wordpress 4.7.2 and woocommerce 2.6.14?

Ok great. I may wait until the update is released. Do you know when we might expect the updated version?

Just been released :)

Awesome!! Ill be buying this plugin this week! Thanks!

Hello! Pre-sale. Will the customer be able to see which items have been shipped in his order page? Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

They can’t currently because older version of Woocommerc didn’t allow you to change the page but i believe something has been added to Woocommerce that allow this so we’l be adding it in next time we update the plugin.

1) In case of COD payment, how does the plugin work? How is the bill generated and order status handled?

2) Also in case of multiple items in a single order, sent over multiple days, ie suppose 2 clothes are ordered, 1 is shipped today and another is shipped few days later, Payment to be done via COD, then in this case how does the plugin work – billing wise, order status wise?

3) Is there some demo link that we can go through with such sample scenarios?

TIA

2. I can mark what is shipped and set order status as partially completed. But what about the bill that needs to be generated in both the cases? Item 1 that is shipped on day costs x and item 2 shipped later costs y, then in each bill amount needs to be reflected accordingly. Will that happen automatically or we need to manually generate the bill with appropriate cost?

3. Kindly mention your mail ID

Hi,

The plugin doesn’t generate any bills or shipping notes so that will need to be manually done by you.

You can email us using the contact form on our profile page here.

Hi,

We purchased the plugin just now and installed it in our website but we don’t see additional tab (Inventory) on the Woocommerce Settings like what’s in the documentation http://prntscr.com/dfp377

HI there,

The Inventory tab was moved to be a sub section of the Products tag in a previous version of Woocommerce. The settings for the plugin are in there.

Hi,

This is a cracking looking plugin and 99% what we are looking for.

I assume from the front page description that this does not generate or interact with any packing slips at all? A feature we here are very much looking for and the missing 1% above.

We print out packing slips to include with the shipment so having it include the ‘shipped’ status of the items on the packing slip so the order fulfilment team know what is to be shipped, what isn’t and what has been shipped previously would result in a sale right now.

Thanks Gavin.

In fact, an easy way to do this is to include the shipped status of the shipped items as meta on the item itself. This is then displayed on the packing slips anyway.

Hi there,

Glad you like it. We’re currently planning an update for this plugin that will include shipping note functionality. We’re looking into either creating our own shipping note as part of the plugin and/or adding compatibility with other plugins that add this feature.

Still very much in the planning stages though, but keep an eye out and we’ll have something out soon.

Hello, very nice plugin, is there a way to show the shipped item marked as shipped on the customer account page not only by emails?

hi any news on this ??

Sorry, no update just yet.

Hi, any news?

Presales question: Is this compatible with ShipStation. Sometimes we split orders there and then ship partial orders. It would be fantastic if this detected that on ShipStation’s end and “just worked”

Hi there,

Apologies for the late reply. Unfortunately no its not. We haven’t even looked into integration with third part systems but will try and look into it.

Please let me know if you pursue this, I would buy the plugin in a heart beat.

Hi

Can we complete partial order for same item ?

for example i have received order for 5 iphone but i have only 3 to dispatch, so can i dispatch 3 and show partially completed and will show 2 as remaining ?

and what about costing will it count total cost or only shipped item cost ?

Kindly update asap

Thanks

Hi there,

Yes you can ship 3 out and mark the order and 3 shipped. Then when you ship the remaining 2 out, you update the order to mark the remaining 2 as shipped out. The order will then be completed.

I’m not sure what you mean by costing though. The plugin doesn’t do anything on the frontend but is used in the admin to mange partial orders,

Hope that helps

I notice that after WooCommerce 2.6.0 the checkboxes and ACTIONS box disappears. So that makes the plug in not work correctly as you have to click shipped for each item individually rather than check them all off and update at once. Is there a planned fix for this?

Hi there,

Yes there is a planned fix for this and is being worked on as and when we can. As you can imagine, other things come up that slow development down on this but we’re trying to get it done and out as soon as possible.

Is there a rough timeline you can say for the update to set multiple items as shipped?

Yes it has, provided your using Woocommerce 2.6+ (we’ve removed compatibility for older versions of Woocommerce).

Selecting multiple items will show some extra buttons to set the selected items and shipped.

Hope that helps

Ah brilliant! My client is seeing an issue when they click on the X in an item that brings up the pop box and it doesnt show the ‘save and close’ button. Whats strange is that it doesnt show in Google Chrome but does show in IE. Can you shed any light?

Hi there,

Sounds like a caching issue on the browser itself. If you can get them to clear their cache on the browser it should be fine after.

Let me know if it doesn’t work and we’ll look into it further.

When will you update the plugin to be compatible with the latest version of WC en WP ?

Hi there,

As far as I know, the plugin is compatible. The only issue that we know of is that the checkboxes to set multiple items as shipped has disappeared (which we’re working on at the moment).

Is something else not working?

I believe I found an issue: A partially completed order doesn’t show up in the reports. Since the order is placed and charged for, it should show up in the woocommerce report (gross sales etc). If I change the status to “processing” or “completed” it does show up.

Seriously? Is anybody doing anything against that? Their sites comes up on the first page of google when looking for your plug-in. You should start to shut them down by reporting them to paypal as well as to google. I could help with paypal by reporting their account for fraudulent activity. How can I contact you other than through this public forum? I think shutting down their money channels would be a first step…

Not interested in reporting them? I get my money back to buy the plug-in again and you get paypal to possibly drop them…

Hi,

We’ve contacted Envato and are in the process of reporting them. However, it won’t be Paypal that we’re dealing with and its very unlikely that you will get your money back unfortunately.

I paid for support and have emailed 3 times with no response. If your not going to support the plugin or its users then I would like my money back.

Hi there,

Apologies, we’ve got a bit of a support backlog that we’re working through at the moment and will reply to your email shortly. Life got in the way :(

Hi. Does this plugin allow for a delivery note to be sent/printed? We’re currently using WooCommerce’s Print Invoice and Packling list plugin but it’s a major problem that we can’t do partial deliveries….

Hi there,

The plugin allows you to send an email to the customer which will detail the items in that shipment. There isn’t a way to print it out from the dashboard yet.

I interested in your plugin. Example i’m the buyer, If i go to MY ORDER -> Can i see all of order status such as:

page 1) All order included page 1,2,3,4,5

page 2) pending payment (which is not success payment yet)

page 3) shipped (which is the seller add tracking number already)

page 4) Deliveried

page 5) Dispute (order on dispute)

page 6) Refund (order on process refund, waiting buyer send back product to buyer, or the buyer did not ship a long time, buyer/seller accepted refund)

page 7) Evaluated (which is waiting for rating each other/ or still on time accepted click to dispute or refund time)

page 8 ) Success order (which is buyer no allow to requires dispute return any more, success purchase)

Importance: Each step 1 -> 2 >>> 3 >>> 4>>>> 5>>>> 6>>>> 7>>> 8 . will have notification to email to buyer and notification on website. when buyer click to the email link or notification, buyer will see the page of status.

Hi there,

I think you have misunderstood what this plugin is for. The plugin does not do anything with the customer frontend side of things. Its purpose is to make managing orders in the backend for the admin easier by allowing the admin to mark orders are partially shipped.

oh i see. Thanks

i have just purchased the woocommerce-partial-orders, but i can not find the Set as shipped, and also send “Order shipped” email to customer! any thoughts ?

Hi there,

Replied to your email but for anyone else that might be having the same problem, when you mark an item as shipping, a button will appear below the items in the order to send the email.
