I also am using a version of the plugin. We are using it for a professional organization’s member directory. We too would be interested in an option to allow front end submissions as your documentation suggests.
Sorry for the delay, this is another our plugin you use, but this plugin with similar functionality, currently we stopped developing of that plugin and forced developing of this one at codecanyon. This is really easy thing to migrate from old plugin to the new.
By the way, we just released new version.
Thanks for the reply.
If i purchase this version, from code canyon, will it populate with the data I already have installed from the other plugin? Or is there specific migrate instructions?
You’ll not lose any existed data. You just need to deactivate old plugin and activate new plugins from the package.
I am using a version of this plugin at http://www.getgolfed.com/teachingpros/
I would like to add the front end submission module if possible so that each client can create and update their own listing. Do I need to purchase a license to add that functionality? Thank you.

I’m confused. Is there a free version of the plugin? If so, can you link me to the current version of the plugin? Thanks.
There isn’t any free version.
Hello !!
Great job on the plugin ! Can’t wait for payment gateway integration !
One question : is it possible to limit submission of listings to event / specific category ??
I want to do a business directory with an event calendar all-in-one : calendar with free access and business with paid listings.
Let me know ! Ian
As was promised earlier – PayPal payment gateway with subscriptions available now in new version.
And also we added an ability to set expiration dates of limited (not eternal) listings manually.
When will the next update be released and what features will be included?
First of all in next releases we are going to implement following features:
1. payment gateway integration with all related stuff
2. csv import/export
3. additional shortcodes functionality
can’t say nothing about time frames
as for date on this plugin i see it’s relatively new – already has a ton of potential – keep up great work
JC
Thank you.
on demo front page – is that the only layout available search – search then categories on bottom ?
or is that just shortcodes placed in that order ?
This is the only layout, if you wish to reorder those blocks – it is not so hard to do in templates.
also – anyway we can see full admin backend ?
You may login to our demo with following credentials
user: demo
pass: demo
I build portals for a living and i must tell you this looks very good – great work so far – could there be a way for merchant to add coupons with expiration dates and for merchant to be able to edit such coupons ?
The option to set expiration date manually we will implement in near future, with the option to change listings levels. Currently you may create some listings levels with different active periods, so users will be able to choose the nearest active range.
I want to use this plugin for classifieds. Is it possible some how to prevent user registration to place a record? Or maybe using facebook login instead of normal registration?
The record will be created anyway, but there are such mode may be used, so the user will never can log in, because the system will not send him any password – this is just to store users’ emails.
Also it is possible to install facebook connect wordpress plugins, so on the 2nd step of listing submission when user have to log in – there facebook login button will appear.
Got it, another question. Is it possible to have 2 instances so I can have Events and Classifieds? As two separate systems with different categories etc.
No it’s not possible, instead it is possible to set different custom content fields for separate categories
Sounds very useful! I would recommend it for some customers of mine
Thank you.
Another Question: Is it possible to show the poeples names and count them who have marked a listing as their favorite? Because I want to change “favorite” into “Join” and that makes more sence for example to be able to see the people who want to join an event and how much of the members they are. Thx for help!
Unfortunately this is not possible.
How does your listings uploading feature work ? CSV import ?
Any custom fields available to create ?
csv import – the answer above
custom fields – you may look at our demo and documentation
thank you
Looks very promising – what features do you have planned for future releases ?
http://MiamiExpoCenter.comfirst of all:
1. payment gateway integration with all related stuff
2. csv import/export
3. additional shortcodes functionality
can you tell me a bit more on CSV import ? will it be point and click type ? or is there a set format that needs to be used ?
I like you “What” and “Where” Search sections. Having a “Who” Search sections would really make your directory plugin perfect. Can you tell me how to create a “Who” Search section?
Please respond soon.
As I understand “Whom” search section would search for users and listings owners, unfortunately this is not possible, these sections search only listings.
Instead I recommend to add new content field with enabled search functionality to search listings by appropriate criteria.
By a “Who” search I mean using the plugin as a people directory. It is easy to use your plugin as a “What” directory. But how can I use it as a people directory?
May be you wish just to rename from “What” to “Whom”?
this looks great ! very useful
Thank you.
Active Period depending on event date of listing?
I would like to be able to submit events with date. BUt how can I manage that listings will disappear when the event is over?
The option to set expiration date manually we will implement in near future, with the option to change listings levels. Currently you may create some listings levels with different active periods, so users will be able to choose the nearest active range.
Thank you for fast response! Yes, this is a good idea! And another question: How to change the style of the map. I normally use custommapid by google but dont know where to put the code. And by the way. The possibility to get the current location by the user would be pretty nice!
Sure, we will take into account you suggestions.
About google maps ID: since version 3 API does not require an API key to function correctly https://developers.google.com/maps/signup?hl=enABout Google Map ID I just wanted to know how I change the style of the map like this here. – http://snazzymaps.com/ – Where can I put the code? You know what I mean? (=
If you wish to customize maps – you have to tweak javascript code in w2dc/resources/js/google_maps_view.js file
Okay thx alot, got it! By the way – perhaps you can embed something like this in your next update – a button on the map to get the current location: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/16806793/how-to-activate-geolocation-with-a-button-on-a-dynamic-google-map-that-has-alrea
Payment gateway for the listings?
We are working under this feature right now.
As was promised earlier – PayPal payment gateway with subscriptions available now in new version
Is this plugin mobile ready? responsive? Thanks
It is not really possible from any plugin side to make its content fully responsive, since it depends on how your theme displays the content. I mean that if your theme is responsive, so the content that renders the plugin also will be mobile and tablet friendly.
Must say, that we are always in development to make it much more responsive as we can from the plugin side.
