Hello, i got by all my PDF-files the messages: Document can not be previewed as it is too big. What have i to change t read them online?

Try changing this:

to:
if ($file->fileSize >= 52428800)

I am very interested in buying your script but a question comes to me, I wonder if it would be possible to share with other registered users certain files or folders. I have a material want my computer to access it but without having to give access to my account. So they can have access to their personal account and to share with them. It would be great to make user groups and share content according to the group whatsoever. Thank you!!
Hi, thanks for your comment. We’re working on shared folders for a future release. So you’ll be able to grant access to a folder for another user. It’ll likely have different permission options aswell.

Does your script support folder sharing between users ?
The idea is working like dropbox , I connect to my account and can see the folders shared with other users based on permisions.
If you can empower your script with this feature, you’ll reach $$$ sales
Also another thing very important to consider is creating a complete API , to allow customers extending with other developments.

There’s no support for shared folders at the moment. You can share a folder with someone else but it’s via a hashed url that they use to view/download the files, not upload, manage etc. I’ll add this to the RFCs to investigate whether it can included.
There is a very basic API within the script but it’s used internally really. There’s plans to expand this in the future aswell.

1) Yes it’s been built to resize for mobile and desktop devices. If you view it within a browser and resize it, you’ll see the page change for different screen sizes.
2) Not at the moment. We’re working on support for Amazon S3 which will be added soon.
3) Editing is actually a huge job. To provide support to edit multiple document types, via a web browser is a lot of development work. Of course we’d love to add it but it wont be soon given the long list of other bits we have to work on. I’ve added it to the RFCs though so it’s captured.
Hey amazing script, two questions.
1. could you implement a folder menu on mobile view? I mean it seems responsive but the folder selection isn’t showing for me.
2. Could you somehow implement a lightbox preview rather than changing pages to the more detailed view? Like this guy did:

1) The mobile view should still show the folders in the actual file listing. So if you’re on the root folder you’ll see all folders within, then the file icons. I tried having a dropdown version of the treeview but it becomes very cluttered on mobile.
2) The new page is kind of a lightbox already, just a full screen one . Its loaded via ajax so the whole site doesn’t reload. I guess we could add a close button on it which would revert to the previous view. You can also click back in the browser or click on the folder name on the top right.

Can I add tags within the software, or does the software “read” the tags I add from my desktop computer?
Thanks for your comment. There’s no manual tagging at the moment, although it’s fairly high up the todo list. For images, the exif meta data is logged in the database from any files that have it, so we could also make these searchable later.
The search works on file & folder names for now.

This won’t work with Yetishare unfortunately, none of the plugins will work and neither will the paid upgrades.

All download links are secure. When a download is requested, a unique hashed url is generated that is then deleted after the download. These long download hashes can not be shared between people.
If you are after a more premium file download site this script doesn’t include paid account features. Look for our yetishare for this.

This is hugely different to yetishare. Paid account upgrades to name at least 1 of the major functions. Feel free to contact us if you’d like to discuss it further.
Ok! so its a lightweight yetishare
Yetishare is specifically for webmasters running a file hosting site, this doesn’t include any premium options. It’s for anyone that just wants to share files, like media agencies, freelancers etc. Not everyone wants to operate a premium file hosting website, hence this script.
