Can files be stored in s3
Hi currently no, There’s no plans to include it within the next release but it should be 1-2 months away.
Can i use this so users can have file storage like box.com and have them pay.
Hi, no this is more for personal storage for businesses and professionals. If you would like to create a premium file sharing service then I would recommend searching “YetiShare” in Google.
Hi mfscriptsltd! Hi Script! I like it … I wanted to ask If we can share the root Folder (in demo site it is called File Manager (96) folder) with guest users and keep Folder tree on the left. When I am logged in everything looks perfect you can browse files on the left in Folder Tree and all content shows in the center and on right it shows details and links and other info. When I visit one folder everything looks so simple. Can we share everything with guest users and let them see details and let them download but not delete and upload only??? Thanks 
Hi, thanks for your comment. No you can’t share the root folder at the moment, only sub-folders. If you share a sub-folder you should see the folders within, not in a treeview on the left though. It would be a lot of work to add this unfortunately.

Hi, thanks for purchasing the script. Once your install your ssl certificate, just edit the protocol option in the _config.inc.php file. It will say http just change it to https.
Hi, thanks. Https is working now! When I go to /login.html, access is’nt possible, the message ‘An error occoured reaching the site to login, please try again later. Actual response message: Not Found’ Is displaying. Acces on /admin/login.php is no problem. I use the script in a sub dir and have set RewriteBase /docs/ in .htaccess. Any suggestion?
Hi, are you using Apache or Nginx? Do you definitely have mod_rewrite enabled? Is the .htaccess file in the parent folder effecting it? (try renaming it to test)
The problem was solved after I changed version of php (now 5.5.32 FRM Apache) There was a small issue width the next-link, You can’t scroll the docs if there is a next link button. Fix: .file-browse-container-wrapper .section-wrapper .next-link { right: 40px !important; }

Looks like YetiShare. Shame it does not support Premium Account Types and a Affiliate System for uploaders want to earn with their data. Otherwise great file.

1) There’s no embed video options at the moment. 2) You can edit the code to add these. The script isn’t designed to be monetised however you could easily amend it. 3) As above. 4) We have this on our similar yetishare script. If you search Google you’ll find the site for it.

Hello, I would like to purchase this script but I have very bad experiences with the previous (three) scripts I have tried that do somewhat similar things. Can you please answer the following questions?
1) Will this script be updated regularly? *New features forever are obviously not expected; but security / functionality etc is important.
2) Does this script offer 100% private mode?
3) Is there a way I can have some files and folders prefilled into every (new users) account? *You know how when you sign-up to DropBox there is a welcome message/file + a folder for you to tap into? That’s what I mean. But automated; just like how theirs is.
4) Any plans of including DropBox integration so the files get sent there OR Google’s Cloud services? *This one is most important for me. I hope so and I hope so within few months max.
Please let me know; these particular features mean a lot to me and I refuse to try another script or pursue this venture until these features are there. One or 2 of the other scripts I tried were not bad at all; however; they developers either disappeared or stopped updating it. They became vulnerable and outdated.

I’ve just re-read your question. There’s no way to allow users to see a list of files uploaded by another account. So users must be logged in and they only see their own files.
The next release will have shared internal folders. So logged in users will be able to see the same ‘global’ folder. They must be logged in though.

Hi, you just take the /admin/ part off the end and it shows the front-end. It’s not working on yours though, likely because you have it installed in a sub-folder. Can you try the 3 bullet point here – https://support.mfscripts.com/public/kb_view/16/

Hi, there’s no option to add banners at the moment. The script has initially been designed as a file manager so there’s no monetisation tools. You’d need to edit the source code to add your banners where you want them.

Yes via the front end uploader. There’s no zip upload at the moment. The next update will be later this month sometime.

Hi, yes if you configure it that way You can set all files to be private or public. You can also securely share private folders. Users don’t need to be registered to see shared folders.

Hi, its managed via the admin interface at the moment. We’re adding an option in the next release to also provide a registration form.
This looks like a perfect replacement for our use of WeTransfer. But on the download page, there are related items that show up under the main download. If I am using this to send an ad to a publication, I worry that this feature might confuse them. Is there a way to disable that in the admin section, or with a relatively easy hack?
Hi, you could remove the code for it. The related items will only show the same folder contents so if there’s no other files nothing will be shown.
Hello – I am trying to upload a file that .mp4 and 84.4MB, the system looks like it uploads fully but when it gets to 100% it says complete and then there is NO file in the folder or anything; just says “Drag & Drop Files” again and shows blank page.
I checked the admin for the user uploading and noticed that the file isn’t being added to their count so it isn’t actually uploading. Any idea why? Smaller files are working and I’ve set the system to accept up to 5gb files.

Hello, when I share one file (i.e an image) the one who gets the sharing link sees not only the file, but the whole folder, where the file is in it. (above is the image preview any below the thumbs of the other images from the same folder) Is there any way to just share one file, not the folder?
Hi, thanks for your comment. Not at the moment. The permissions structure is based on a folder level so if a folder is public, or shared, they’ll see everything within it. The only way to share just one file would be to move (or duplicate) it into a sub-folder where it’s the only file.
