Hi Can this be used on non wordpress sites or do you have another version?

Hello flipp35, I’m sorry but UberChart can be used only with WordPress websites and it’s available only for WordPress at the moment.

hi Daext , can you add candlestick chart

Hello setyadev,

the JavaScript library used by UberChart to plot the charts doesn’t support candlestick charts, so I have no way to add this chart type at the moment.

If you need more info feel free to ask.

Nice Plugin!! Best of luck for sale :)

Hey, I am really interested in this plugin for visualizing some country-level correlations between variables.

What I am looking for, however, is a plugin which will allow visitors to my site to ‘explore’ the data. For example, on a scatterplot (http://preview.codecanyon.net/item/uberchart-wordpress-chart-plugin/full_screen_preview/18480662), is it possible for users to choose which variable is on the x-axis?

Depending on what variable the visitor chooses, the scatterplot (and trend line) will dynamically change…is this possible with your plugin?

Hello rob_thomson,

you can create a scatter chart like this one but with multiple datasets. Then you enable the legend (the small colored rectangles with the labels) like in this chart, so that your users will be able to select or deselect specific datasets (by clicking on the small rectangles).

Hope this helps, if you need more info feel free to ask.

Hi there. Couple questions. 1. Do you offer a lower-priced package that contains only the chart items? 2. Since the main chart I need is a doughnut chart, can the width of the actual doughnut be changed? Or asked another way, if I want the doughnut part to be skinnier, or thinner, is that possible? Thanks!

Hello blujaycreative,

Do you offer a lower-priced package that contains only the chart items?

UberChart is available only here on CodeCanyon at the current price.

Since the main chart I need is a doughnut chart, can the width of the actual doughnut be changed? Since the main chart I need is a doughnut chart, can the width of the actual doughnut be changed?

Yes, you can define a size for the chart or alternatively make the chart responsive so that the size will be based on the dimension of the chart container. What you mean exactly with “skinny”?

Hi DAEXT. What I mean by skinny, said another way… If you increase the white “hole” of the doughnut without increasing the width of the ENTIRE doughnut, the actual graphic part appears to be skinnier. Make sense?

Helloblujaycreative and thank you for clarifying your question.

The dimension (more precisely the doughnut-hole/doughnut-diameter ratio) of the hole in a doughnut chart is fixed.

Hi I’ve two pre sale questions:

1. Is it possible to insert all values directly into the Shortcode via parameters? I would like to display some values based on form entries via merge tag directly in the Chart.

2. If I resize the Browser window on your Line Chart demo page, the height of the chart becomes very small and I can’t read the Chart anymore. Can I avoid that in the Chart settings?

Hello storeofideas,

1. Is it possible to insert all values directly into the Shortcode via parameters? I would like to display some values based on form entries via merge tag directly in the Chart.

The shortcode accepts only the “id” parameter, which is the identifier of the database record used to store all the information related to the chart. If you need more info on how the various parts of the plugin work so you can add your custom behavior feel free to ask, but please note that customization services are not provided.

2. If I resize the Browser window on your Line Chart demo page, the height of the chart becomes very small and I can’t read the Chart anymore. Can I avoid that in the Chart settings?

There is an option in the “Common” section ( https://0.s3.envato.com/files/211030656/charts-menu.png ) named “Responsive”. If enabled the chart will become responsive (like in the line chart example), if not enabled the chart will become fixed based on the dimensions specified in the “Width” and “Height” options.

Hope this helps, if you need more info feel free to ask.

The description page details that the plugin comes with several default models, but I can’t find them. Can you please direct me to the models?

Hello accpicm,

the models are available in the models.xls file available in the main plugin folder. This file should be imported, please check out this video to see how to import the models or alternatively read the procedure available in the “Import the default models” section of the plugin manual.

Hope this helps, if you need more info feel free to ask.

Thank you, I have the documents now.

Hello,

I’m facing issues with displaying the charts I make. http://www.home.corruptioncourses.com/countries/afghanistan/

It shows up as “You can’t use multiple time the same shortcode.”

Hello sp3200,

this message is displayed in the following situations:

  • When the same shortcode is used multiple times in the same post (a duplicate of the chart should be used instead).
  • When the WordPress theme is not well made and the post content is loaded multiple times. (shortcodes included)

To disable this verification simply comment or remove these four lines available in the uberchart/public/class-dauc-public.php at line 71-74:

//terminate if this chart id has already been used
if(in_array($chart_id, self::$shortcode_id_a, true)){
    return '<p>' . __("You can't use multiple time the same shortcode.", 'dauc') . '</p>';
}

If you have other questions please contact me directly through the support tab or via the contact form available in my profile page. (technical support is usually not provided in this comments area)

Hope this helps.

Amazing Work
