Is it possible to get a refund? I feel that there are too many bugs with the plug-in, and I am spending a lot of time figuring out how to use it, and still haven’t figured out a lot of things as no documentation is provided on use.

Now I can’t update the plug-in because it says my purchase number is invalid. I would greatly appreciate it if a refund could be issued.

Well, now none of my pictures are coming up so I just have a black box. I give up. This is just not working for me.

I didn’t realize when I bought this I’d have to learn how to code. I don’t have time to do that and now my homepage doesn’t work at all. I just updated again and my photos still don’t show up.

Is it possible to just get a refund and move on? This is the second time I’ve gone to my website and it hasn’t been working properly. I need it to be reliable weather it be my theme causing the problem or the plugin.

That function won’t work in any theme because it might conflict with the theme trying to hide elements outside of container.

The solution in your theme is to go to Parallaxer > Settings and in Extra CSS enter

.container,.entryfull{ overflow:visible!important; }

and save

I think I have figured some of it out. I just have to code it rather than just type it in which I am trying to figure out as I go. I don’t know how, but I was able to type into a separate page what I wanted to display, go to that code and put it into the parallax test page I’ve been working on. It shows up now, but it’s slightly opaque. Like it’s not at 100% opacity. I have been trying to figure out the code for that fix now. I think it’s a struggle because I don’t know how to code and I’m just kind of guessing. If you have any tips I’d appreciate it.

Also, when I try to view it on my phone, the photos take quite a long time to load and there is just a black box with the text in it. I have tried making the file sizes smaller but it doesn’t seem to help. Any advice there? The mobile friendliness was pretty much the entire reason I bought the plugin so I’m hoping this is user error.

First of all hope you have read the top note in the preview for the background image

Note: this background feature needs to be hard coded in the theme, as each theme is different the plugin cannot guarentee functionality for any theme out of the box. It must be coded into the theme.

Have you tried setting an image via the meta property ? ( on each post / page )

Shoot both this and the other approach of adding the background img in the page (what you show in your other reply) – is not working. I tried to add this to my custom css where the background image info lives, but nothing happened. Should I take the img info out of my CSS and just do the above on the page itself? I will try that. If not or if I want to give specific elements the scrolling abilities what is the short code that I can add in conjunction with other short codes or HTML that will make that element have a parallax scroll? Please help! Thank you so much.

I tried putting the code you gave in the txt end of the page under the rest of the code for the page. But nothing is happening. The elements on the page are still moving with the background instead of the background scrolling up underneath them as you scroll down the page. I have to get this thing working. What am I doing wrong? Should I take the code for each element on the page and take it out of individual text boxes with HTML code in my skin editor & skin content areas in my thesis theme and just put all of that on the actual page itself in the text view like you show above? Inject them each as a parallax element? Please advise. Thank you so much!
