I am trying to use this plugin but I have a problem with the dimensions of the photos from the third line (image 1).
When I open or close the browser (making it responsive) it seems to be solved but I would like to know what I have to do to make it appear correctly from the beginning.
I have tried updating the plugin and clearing the cache but it still doesn’t work for me.

Hi guys, this is the functionality we are looking for for our galleries. Please take a look.
1. Images in the grid should have the same height but different width (as
shown in the example https://500px.com/popular )
2. The gallery should be able to take full width of the browser page
3. The spacing between images should be able to be adjusted.
4. At the hover over the image a little description can be shown
5. Infinite Scroll option should be enabled for the gallery
6. We should be able to set how many images appear on scroll
Please let us know if it is configurable

I noticed that when using excerpts, line breaks don’t display correctly and some words get cut off after a few characters. I noticed this not only on my site but on the theme-one demo site as well (https://theme-one.com/the-grid/kampala/). On the Urban Fixie tile you can see the word adventicium getting cut off. Is this an issue with the plugin or with WordPress?

Works fine, but now i have the problem that when i search for categories or slugs in don’t want the results in the grid. Is any code that exclude this two things from de global search inside the grid?

The choices displayed in filter will depend of the one you have added in your grid settings. So, you can add parents and children by dragging/dropping them.

Sorry, I missed the point I want to say. The point is that the filter only filters the number of items you choose to load into the grid. Therefore, if I want users to browse/filter all my posts, I need to display 3000 items on one page. This is too much.
I know you can fix this by replacing some code https://theme-one.com/docs/the-grid/#grid_as_template, but I’m building my blog with Elementor and a raw theme called “Hello Elementor”, so I’m not sure about how to accomplish this.

The Grid is not a dedicated filtering plugin. It uses a dynamic filtering system to filter items present and loaded in a grid. So, you can’t filter items not present in a grid. You should look at a filtering plugin of a grid/gallery plugin. Thank you for your understanding.

Before we buy another license for a new client, I’ve got two question: Is it possible to exclude posts by categories rather than include all but a few categories? Excluding is often much faster when you have a lot of categories… I remember there was some kind of filtering by custom fields, maybe that would help here?
I know The GRID can show several post types at once, which is great! But can it also filter by post type? We have several custom post types (like news, press release etc.) and it would be neat if the visitor could filter by that.

Unfortunately, this is not possible to filter by post type. You can only filter by taxonoy terms.
