Hello, I tried the demo and I am trying to import https://www.apkmirror.com/categories/game_action/ using the “Custom Page Import”. I only want it to import the main posts, but it still imports the “Latest Uploads”. I do not have the Include “Latest APKs in Results” box checked, but it still imports them. Is there any way that I can fix this?

If we want direct download link, we must save files on our server.
But the question is Will the apk file will be stored or just download link?.
If download link is stored, then its ok.
If apk file is stored, then will it affect our hosting account, mean storage etc.

I use moddroid theme, it extract the details from google play, and finds direct download link from somewhere such as apk.support .
So we don’t have to worry about storage, just download link will be stored.

The IP address of my demo site is now blocked from the source site’s part, to make the plugin work also on the demo, i recommend you add a proxy in its settings, ‘Main Settings’ menu -> ‘Proxy Adress’ settings field.

Yes, now the plugin is able to use a headless browser to download and parse pages (like Puppeteer), which needs to be installed on your server.

Apkmirror lacks so many apps and games now, most of the games or apps i try are never available. Would it be possible to pull content from sites like apkcombo or playstore directly. Apkmirror is really bad.

Please check if you have enough space on your hosting provider’s account, because it seems that the plugin is not managing the create featured images for posts and because of this, the posts are not published on your site (because you also checked the ‘Skip Posts That Do Not Have Images’ checkbox from the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’).

This issue is usually caused by the fact that the apkmirror website starts showing a captcha when the plugin makes too many requests to it.
To fix this, please try changing the IP address of your server, or if this is not possible, you can also use proxies in the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ -> ‘Web Proxy Address’ settings field.

The yellow diamond at rule running means that no new posts were imported at the rule running (but also no errors were encountered). If an error was encountered, a red X shows.
The yellow diamond appears usually in two cases:
1) if all posts were already imported from for the specific rule. Posts will be imported automatically, at the schedule you set, if new content is available from the source website, which is not already posted to your blog. In this case, you should wait a couple of hours or 1-2 days at max, to see if posts are getting imported automatically to your blog.
2) if no post is getting imported, you should check the ‘Posting Restrictions’ settings, in plugin’s ‘Main Settings’. These can prevent posts from getting imported. Please check the ‘Minimum Title Word Count’, Maximum Title Word Count’ , Minimum Content Word Count’ , Maximum Content Word Count’, ‘Banned Words List’, ‘Required Words List’, ‘Skip Posts That Do Not Have Images’ or ‘Skip Posts Older Than a Selected Date’ settings fields in ‘Main Settings’ – these may prevent posts from getting imported. Please clear them, save settings and rerun importing, to check if these were the ones preventing proper post importing.

Well, the issue is that CloudFlare updated their protection and they are preventing the plugin from accessing the page (from some IP addresses only).
For example, on my local test site the plugin continues to work.
I will search for a method to bypass the protection, when I find one I will implement it in the plugin.

I updated the plugin, now it can use puppeteer or phantomjs to scrape pages. If you have a VPS or dedicated server (or you can access SSH on your server), you can install one of these and the plugin will be able to use them to get pages correctly and to bypass CloudFlare.
