It only changes the cover of the artist that is playing and does not change the name of the artist or the title in the player when it is refreshed in the F5 browser, the player just shows the name of the artist and updated title. Will they solve this problem?

It updates the title but it adds it to the station name that you can add manually in the playlist if you look carefully after the ‘Shoutcast example…’ you will see the current title and artist and this only happens in the player next to the buttons and scrubber, there is no point to update it in the playlist, the station name is enough.
If you like I can update the code so that it update to the playlist as well but I don’t see the point of that.

All the players that use metadata that codecanyon offers do that, they update the cover and the name of the artist in the player, surely you will have your reason that is respected, I was only asking if it was an error, regards. good player congratulations

So I saw the updates and bought this player again. I’m trying the Youtube player, and I’m able to add playlists. I added the playlist through shortcode on one of the page/post. 1. Is there any other way to add the player to a page/post? 2. When I load a page, it will display the player name in the url, how do I disable that? 3. When I tried to load the youtube player, it is able to play, but I can’t seem to speed up or slow down the track. 4. Also, I can’t seem to fast forward to the next point in the track or even pause the track.

1. The player can be added via shortcode.
2. That is called deeplinking it can be disabled in the preset, just set Use deeplinking to no.
3. The speed for youtube currently is not working because is not fully supported by the Youtube API, I will look into this maybe Youtube has changed this.

for 4. When I press play, I can’t skip forward in time, say at the 1 min mark, or 2 min mark. The player has sound, but the play icon doesn’t seem to be working. I also can’t pause the player while it’s playing.
Also, how do I fix the “not defined” in the title of the track for the normal music player?

About the not defined you have to add rack title, scroll down when you add a track you will find the text area for this.

I still can’t get the player to work, I have tried uploading to wordpress media, but when I click play, it says source not found. It also says undefined even when I added title to the text box.
The youtube option seems great, but it doesnt seem to be able to fast forward. The folder option can’t seem to read the audio too.

Actually no, if the user clocks the screen before the player loads autoplay will work otherwise no.
Unfortunately there is no way to atart an audio without user interaction, it is a browser limitation.
Callimg the play API method is an option to start the audio file.

I must say it’s confusing, too many plugins by the same author for the same things. Why not creating one best plugin with all features for audio &one for video? I mean why not improving first plugin to be the best & each time create another one?

I use shoutcast v2.5 and using chrome mobile browser. The MP3 shoutcast audio stream just stops after about 5-7 minutes and have to refresh page to reload stream. How to fix this?

Incase anyone was wondering how to make the player full width (fluid) as in the demo page, the setting for this is under “General settings” > “Main settings” > “Player maximum width” (set to a large figure). It looks great, especially with the visualiser. Thank you, Tibi.

I’d like to keep the music playing by inserting the MP3 player in the footer and letting the content load by ajax using the Advanced Ajax Loader plugin, but the plugin seems to add ”#fwdmspPlayer0?catid=0&trackid=0” to the URL, which interfers with process. It auto re-starts the music upon page switch.
Is there a way to not have the text (#fwdmspPlayer0?catid=0&trackid=0) appended to the URL?
