I did notice that you replied here that it was fixed along time ago. If so why is is this site as well as Hostzinger alerting me to remove at once and that an update was made 8.1 Have you not claimed ownership on patchstack so you can adjust this fix? I can not tell my client that this is fixed, multiple credible sources states that the current 8.0 poses extreme vulnerability to hacking. Any additional resources or details would be helpful to ease concerns and let patchstack and my hosting have the update details on the fix. Thanks

Thanks, I’m now having issues after enabling Bunny.net CDN, as I want my MP3 files to be served from my CDN. The player does indeed update the MP3 file after I use the direct URL from the WP media folder. My CDN adds the normal pull zone to the MP3 player file, but when I browse the page, I get the red alert “cannot find file,” even though I see that the file your player address display is the correct pull zone address. Is there something I’m missing? As I certainly require a CDN to serve my MP3s.

OK, I see what’s happening, basically your .mp3 is not allowed to be played on your domain. To solve this, your mp4 must be allowed to be played on your domain. This can be done by contacting a server admin and asking them to help you with this, send them the error below, they will know what to do… I fyou like ask ChatGPT about this error it will explain in detail the issue.

Im curious then. Wordpress has a elementor plugin that you just have to put soundcloud URL into it. It does not require a API Key at all. It works and its great but the player itself is pretty limited and the most important thing is there is no way to control the volume so I dont want to use that. If you are just feeding the URL into the player would that not work?
It uses the default SoundCould player as an embed; the API allows to play the raw .mp4 file in a different player like mine, this is the difference

Ok great. Apparently you can still get access to the public API for soundcloud, but now you have to go through their support chat bot to schedule a request for an API Key. I purchased and got the player installed. Loaded up a Soundcloud playlist and getting an error. “Soundcloud playlist can not be loaded”. I have chose different public playlist to see if that was the issue and still the same error. I created a new playlist and name it unique and added the Soundcloud secret to that specific playlist, still the same error. Could use some help.
Do you have a valid Soundcloud API key, from what I know they do not offer a key anymore.

Trying to load Youtube isnt working either. I get the message: the playlist with id …. is not found in the DOM.
Yes I have a key. They do provide them still but you have to submit a helpdesk ticket to have one issued.
Please read the documentation about Youtube, there is a video tutorial about how to use it, yo need a YouTube API key, and you will have to generate that.
The documentation that came with the plugin only mentions Youtube in the first paragraph about Getting Started. There is no other mention of YouTube or an API Key that is needed.
However I was just trying to test youtube…Soundcloud is the actual issue. What steps can I take to troubleshoot?

I created a YouTube API Key and added that as well, same error, same issue. In Elementor edit window I am seeing an error as well: “The html element with id fwdmspMainPlaylistTest playlist is not found in the DOM, _s html element.

For some reason I can’t ave my playlists. I’ve been happily using the player for last few years and just recently I noticed that when I press the “Save main Playlist” button, the window the edit page doesn’t reload, therefore the changes are not being saved.
I’ve done some tests and only after deleting a few playlists (i have maybe 
, the page got saved. I’m very worried as I need to add more playlists, while keeping the current ones. There are no options to backup the current ones and reimport them. Would you be able to assist in finding some solution? I’d be very grateful as the plugin is great!

I used wp-migrate to transfer stuff from one domain to another, there are many more, ask chat gpt to help you with this stuff he is really good, it will give you step-by-step info.

What I need to use this for is to create an mp3 platform for a YouTube channel with 100s of videos in 40 playlist. One option will be to manually convert each video to audio files, which will be a long and laborious process. Is there a simpler way to do it with the HTML5 Audio Player with Playlist?

Yes, the audio will still play with the video hidden.
There are two ways to use the playlist, add as the source of the playlist a YouTube playlist or channel, and the player will auto-populate the playlist with title and desc, etc, or add each video manually from YouTube in a normal playlist, the second way gives you control of the track title and desc since you can add them manually but it will take more time to cerate, I prefer the second way even if it is more laborious.

1) Imagine a few WordPress posts with 2-3 songs each (not in a playlist, but individual tracks displayed in the post). Can the individual songs be clicked and played with this audio player? That too in such a way that the audio player dynamically gets docked to the top / bottom (sticky feature) while playing the individual song, so that the visitors can scroll the post while the clicked song plays?

Can the player play the same song on multiple pages as you go from the home screen to other pages, such as blog posts, etc., all while playing and not turning off, staying sticky to the bottom of the screen? I was not sure if sticky means on a page scroll or ajax with opening on other pages and having the player keep playing. When I go to your demo, it is only sticky on one page as I scroll, not when I go to other pages. I think if it does both, that would be great. Thanks
It only changes the cover of the artist that is playing and does not change the name of the artist or the title in the player when it is refreshed in the F5 browser, the player just shows the name of the artist and updated title. Will they solve this problem?

It updates the title but it adds it to the station name that you can add manually in the playlist if you look carefully after the ‘Shoutcast example…’ you will see the current title and artist and this only happens in the player next to the buttons and scrubber, there is no point to update it in the playlist, the station name is enough.
If you like I can update the code so that it update to the playlist as well but I don’t see the point of that.

So I saw the updates and bought this player again. I’m trying the Youtube player, and I’m able to add playlists. I added the playlist through shortcode on one of the page/post. 1. Is there any other way to add the player to a page/post? 2. When I load a page, it will display the player name in the url, how do I disable that? 3. When I tried to load the youtube player, it is able to play, but I can’t seem to speed up or slow down the track. 4. Also, I can’t seem to fast forward to the next point in the track or even pause the track.

1. The player can be added via shortcode.
2. That is called deeplinking it can be disabled in the preset, just set Use deeplinking to no.
3. The speed for youtube currently is not working because is not fully supported by the Youtube API, I will look into this maybe Youtube has changed this.

for 4. When I press play, I can’t skip forward in time, say at the 1 min mark, or 2 min mark. The player has sound, but the play icon doesn’t seem to be working. I also can’t pause the player while it’s playing.
Also, how do I fix the “not defined” in the title of the track for the normal music player?

I still can’t get the player to work, I have tried uploading to wordpress media, but when I click play, it says source not found. It also says undefined even when I added title to the text box.
The youtube option seems great, but it doesnt seem to be able to fast forward. The folder option can’t seem to read the audio too.
What other method can I get this player to work?
