Well, I am not sure if this will be possible in the future, as TMDB is not providing this data in their API (thus not providing it to the plugin).

If they release support for an actor endpoint in their API, I will be able to add it also to the plugin.

I think TMDB has actors endpoints named as ‘person details’. See here – https://developer.themoviedb.org/reference/person-details.

More to help you, it requires the actor/person id and it gives this sort of data back -

This plugin uses the official API from TheMovieDb, which means that yes, it has access to all movies stored there. However, please note that they will have a rate limiting set on the API, meaning that they allow a predefined number of maximum API calls per day for your account.

So, each day, you will be able to import a limited number of movies. However, over time, you will be able to import more and more movies to your site.

Yes, the plugin is able to do this, using the ‘Post Custom Fields’ settings field, from importing rule settings. You will need to know the exact textual IDs for the theme’s custom fields. Please check this tutorial video which shows how to use this feature: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMIojmlI9fA (the video is for another plugin, but applies also for Movieomatic).

To import the content the movie that you wish to get, please go to the importing rule settings in the plugin -> click ‘Settings’ for the rule you wish to edit -> uncheck the ‘Remember Last Posted Item And Continue Search From It’ checkbox -> save settings -> import new posts using this rule.

If this did not fix this issue, please check if the post that you wish to get is not already posted on your site.
