Also, note that WP Rocket and Lighthouse don’t have the exact same functions. A benchmark might be interesting, though.

Yes, just make sure not to enable the same options on both of them. You can use Lighthouse to measure your website pagespeed and also track the Core Web Vitals.

See the options inside Lighthouse. My plugin doesn’t have caching, like WP Rocket or W3TC.
Lighthouse minifies the HTML, removes lots of useless/bloated/unneeded WordPress features and also tracks and stores your website’s pagespeed.
The first version was released a long time ago, a few years at least.

It won’t break your website. It can really improve the speed of your website with at least 10% points in Google PageSpeed Insights.

Hey Dejan,
Regarding the white screen, it might be one of the settings, try to disable them and only enable the recommended ones or try to enable them one by one and see which one causes the issue.
Regarding the caching plugin, this is optional. .htaccess might give you better performance, but a plugin like WP Super Cache will cache the pages as HTML giving you less server load. I use WP Super Cache along the .htaccess rules and I am happy.
I don’t recommend using plugins to concatenate/minify your scripts, such as Autoptimize.

They do similar things, so some options might trigger the same behaviour. There are no known conflicts, but I would advise using either one or the other, definitely not both.

An update is coming tomorrow, and it needs to stay up to date with WordPress and the block editor, not Google and GTmetrix.

Hello, I bought the plugin, applied the recommendations, cleaned the caches, did the test on the pagespeed and the site was slower with this plugin. The site was, with 50% (mobile) and 92% (desktop) and now it has the plugin enabled, it has 35% mobile and 82% desktop, that is, with the plugin enabled it worsened the performance.

Disable WordPress embeds Remove embed query vars, disable oEmbed discovery and completely remove the related scripts (disallow WordPress posts to be embedded on remote sites)
within Lighthouse. Would be nice if soembody can have a look inside this. Turned this option off and it works again. regards Thomas

Hey this broke my website, I can no longer log in, I think it deleted the users including admin, can you assist? It did increase my pagespeed but can you help me access it?
This plugin will delete all users including admin users, not sure how it occurred, but it happened after running cleanup. to repair this error you’re going to have to log in via ftp or cpanel file manager and create a new user
The cleanup section advises you to create a backup before running anything.
The cleanup section will delete any users with no posts or comments, or users with this email domain (e.g. @hotmail or @yahoo).
I don’t know exactly what you selected.
Admin had many posts, in fact all posts in the blog, maybe look into the coding. Great plugin otherwise. And no I did not listen to the backup warning, was having too much fun increasing speed.
I have updated the plugin and removed the Sweeper panel. I have also updated all code to PHP 7+, so if you’re on PHP 5.6 or lower, do not update.

Hello, the “Minify/compress HTML source code” causes issues with Contact Forms 7, forms do not submit and stays loading forever, when this is disabled, contact forms work
