Can we delete only the post attachment (featured images) in the expired post and the post will retain? only the image will be deleted…

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

This is currently not possible, but I noted your suggestion, will think on it for upcoming updates.

The peepso plugin (https://peepso.com) uses another path where it stores the photos, that is, it is not the default media library of wordpress. It also uses a specific table in the database to store image paths.

Do you work with customization?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

For details, please contact me at my email kisded@yahoo.com

Deleted posts leave SEO behind. Does this redirect to another live post which has similarity to title of the post? ( this is the way another WP plugin works ) . Simply deleting a post , will make posts throw 403 error.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

To redirect visitors from deleted pages to similar existing posts on your site, i recommend you combine this plugin with the Icarus Post Redirect plugin, please check it here: https://codecanyon.net/item/icarus-all-in-one-page-redirect-plugin-for-wordpress/19105178

Suggestion: I work with the Peepso plugin, it doesn’t use the wordpress media library.

Your plugin works fine at deleting posts, but since Peepso uses a different location and database table for images than the default wordpress, the images are not deleted.

It would be interesting to implement this in your plugin, I believe that many other people will buy your plugin.

Hello,

Thank you for your suggestion, I noted this, will check on Peepso media integration, will try to add this in upcoming updates for the plugin.

Where can I access the extended license?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

You can change the license type of the plugin on the right side of its sales page, by clicking on the ‘Regular License’ text and changing it to ‘Extended License’.

Let me know if this info helped.

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

If I buy extented license, will I be able to use this plugin on unlimited websites?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

Yes, the Extended License will grant unlimited website/domain usage for the plugin.

If you have more questions, let me know.

question, is there a way we can exclude specific post to be deleted if I set in post type: post?

Hello,

Great suggestion, I added this new feature to the v1.2.8 update of the plugin, you will find it in the ‘Advanced’ settings -> ‘Skip Post IDs’ settings field.

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

can this auto delete posts based on a Date Custom Field? Thank you

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

Is there a function or a shortcode to display the expire date inside the post?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

Currently this feature is not available in the plugin, also, based on the current implementation of it, it would be difficult to implement. However, if you wish, I can give this a try and try add this feature to the plugin as a payed custom update. For details, please contact me at my email kisded@yahoo.com

Hello,

this is a pre-purchase question. I’m using Events Calendar plugin (https://wp-events-plugin.com). Is it possible to delete posts from this plugin (for past events) automatically?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

Yes, the Kronos plugin is able to delete also custom post types, in this case, events created by the Event Calendar plugin.

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

Thanks! Will make purchase

Hello, this is a presale question: I am creating a site with multiple subdomains. In comments, I noticed you said that the plugin worked on multisites. For example if the main site was “wine” and subdomain1 was “chardonnay”, subdomain2 was “merlot”.... etc. Could the plugin delete all posts on all subdomains that are older than X days at a preset time? Thanks, Elliot

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

Yes, this is possible, however, the plugin needs to be configured on each site from the network separately (and activated on the entire network). This is because each site has its own settings and needs to be set up separately.

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

Thank you for such a quick response. Would you have the availability to direct me how to install and/or send me to a site that describes how to do what you said…. configuration? Thanks, Elliot

Please check the plugin’s tutorial video, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTEnCmY-jJw

This should be done on all sites from the network.

Regards.

How do I setup WooCommerce product listing expirations to draft after four months?

Is this correct?

Automatically Expire All Posts That Are: Than This Date: +4 months

Hello,

Expiring of posts by user role is not supported. However, you can set a user for which you can enable post expiring. You can add the username in the ‘Post Author Name’ settings field, when you select ‘Advanced’ features in the ‘Plugin Basic/Advanced Feature Selection’ settings field.

Regards.

I would have to add 400+ users to that.

Can you add a section to disable post expiry for specific users?

Example: disable post expiry for usernames: greatlakesmade, greatlakesmadesupport

Enable post expiry for all other users.

Ok, I can make this update for the plugin, please contact me at my email kisded@yahoo.com for details.

Would be great if there is an option to Replace Category beside delete post. Hope you consider in future.

Thank you for this suggestion, please check this other plugin that has this functionality: https://codecanyon.net/item/kraken-automatic-post-editor-plugin-for-wordpress/20620891

I want every new post to be deleted after 72 hours. From the photos, I realized it was not possible. Will it be possible to arrange this?

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

Yes, this is possible. Please select in plugin settings:

‘Plugin Basic/Advanced Feature Selection’ -> Advanced

‘Older/Newer’ -> Older

‘Than This Date’ -> 72 hours ago

Also, don’t forget to add the post type you wish to target (and also other restrictions), in the ‘Post Type’ settings field, which should be set to ‘post’.

Does this plugin have the option to delete images from server when permanently deleting posts?

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

Yes, the plugin is able to delete images together with posts.

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

Hi there. Also presale :)

Previously I have used ‘Post Expirator’ plugin for Wordpress. It use to work, but since changing servers it doesn’t work anymore.

Could you provide specific server settings required by your plugin? I would like to confirm that it will run on my clients host.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

The Kronos plugin does not have any special requirements, if you have a WordPress set up and running, this plugin will also function on it.

One thing that you should check is if you want to use the plugin automatically (using scheduled runs), you will need to have wp_cron functioning on your site (which is enabled and available by default on all WordPress sites). This can be replaced also by server side cron (if you want to make this change).

I hope this info helped.

Hi, this is a presale question. Can this plugin be used to expire Woocommerce products from my Product table?

Can you give me more info, please, on how these dates are stored? Are they stored in a custom post taxonomy or are they store in the publish date for the product post type?

The dates are stored with the custom post types separate from the actual published date in Woocommerce products. Thanks!

Oh, good that you mentioned this. Currently the plugin is able to use only the publish dates of products (not dates from custom fields or taxonomies attached to products).

To be a able to work in your use case, the plugin needs a payed custom update to be customized to work in your use case. If you are interested, please contact me at my email kisded@yahoo.com

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

Hi, plugin looks great. :) I am not interested in deleting, or expiring my older posts. I just want to republish them, with a more recent date. Also I’d like to know if it’s possible to re-publish old posts, for a future day. I mean ‘re-schedule them’ to be published in a +1 day from current time . For example, let’s say I have formerly posted 1 post / day during 1 month. I have 30 posts in my Dashboard that are already published. I would like all my 30 posts to be republished again and again, forever. Can I set this plugin such as: each day , republish 1 post which is old for 30 days. So it will re-publish my old posts (the oldest one first) , 1 by 1 each day. And my site will look like ‘up to date’ always. Can I achieve this with your plugin ?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

Currently, the plugin can republish old posts with 2 options: the current date or a random date in the near past. I can also add the feature that you mentioned in the plugin (to republish posts with a future date) as a payed custom update for the plugin. For details, please contact me at my email kisded@yahoo.com
