Can i do a regular numeric counter? I need to count from one (smaller) number to another (bigger). Thanks.
Do you plan to change the numbers at some regular interval?
Yes and can i decide what this interval will be?
This tool is meant to show time really, but I was planning to extend its funcitonality by adding another public function. My idea is to give the user the ability to change the digits as they want and when they want. So for example the tool is initialized to show 5 digits (with no spacers, one color, as the days show), starting from 00000. Then the user is responsible to call the public function at regular intervals for example (with whatever custom interval they want) with the new number as parameter. For instance after 10 sec. user calls the function with “00010” and counter animates, then “00015” is sent and so on. If that suits you I can code it but I will have time during the weekend.
That would be nice. I’m ready to buy
But i need it to be numerical so when it gets to 59 it won’t jump to 00 but continue to 99. Can i set the starting point? Let’s say i want to start from 907 or 6 million?.. And if you can add an option for thousands delimiter (lets say coma , ) aould be nice also
And another question – the full documentation will i get it after buying the licence?
Documentation is available when you purchase. Yes my plan is to give ability for setting starting point. Then users will need to code their own function that will call the new public method with the new state for every digit. So user’s function knows when to call and calls with the right states – it will not be responsibility for the tool to calculate what is the next number – it will just animate the change from old state to new state. The comma spacers
i didnot plan to do these, but can try. Again I will have time during weekend and also will need you to email me more detailed specs from my author’s page.
This is awesome, super easy to customize and simple to implement. I have just a few questions.
I’m using new_ex5.png, is there a way to remove the rounded corners and just have perfect rectangles?
Also I change the font face and nothing seems to be changing… I had it set up as f_family:"Proxima Nova, Arial, Sans-Serif" and it still seems to go to the default typeface.
Also I am using it on a white background, but the square and circle spacer colons and minutes/second labels are white and don’t look good. How can I change the color of those?
Hi and thanks for the purchase. I have only 3 panels – one rectangular with rounded corners and 2 square ones with round and square corners. If you contact me at rimisark_74@yahoo.com i will create a panel for you with no round corners.
f_family – I tested that one with one font only (not list of fonts. i tested Verdana and Arial separately). You can try too. That is risky of course if you use font that is not available for your visitors.
The spacers use the color of the labels.
Ok thanks for the quick response and help! I will email you.
Just as a heads up, the timer is not very Retina screen friendly. Looks slightly blurry on iPhone, Retina screen Macbooks.
Hi guys, A new update is available, with added groups spacing, groups divider and glow control.
Thank you for the ratings guys!!!
Is there a way to add horizontal space between days / hours / minutes?
This is the desired style: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yxzz1rh66827glz/Screen%20Shot%202014-02-11%20at%209.11.33%20AM.png
Thanks!
Hi patricki, I plan to add this feature. I will combine it with ”:” devider which can be visible or not – that is what another customer asked for specifically. I cant promise exact date, but I want to do it this week. Thank you very much for the purchase.
Please contact me using my author’s page.
Your request is added in the new update. If you feel satisfied by the tool, please rate it. That will help me a lot.
Guys, an update is up. It fixes issue with bgr_color in index.html. Also I fixed an issue in handling the complete event.
I can’t seem to call the complete event in the right way. This event is supposed to go off when the countdown is finished, right? I set the event like this:
$('#counter').ResponsiveCountdown({target_date: obj.end, complete: doneFunction(obj.id)});
Can you please try – complete: function(){doneFunction(obj.id)} If you still experience problems please contact me through my account page – http://codecanyon.net/user/chrisdean
I’m noticing the timer and text for days, hours, etc.. show blurry on my mobile device. One device is an Android using Chrome browser (latest versions) The other device is an iPad2 using Chrome (latest versions)
I notice it most on the Android. Even the text is blurred compared to vector quality text on page. On the iPad I have to zoom in to see the same blur. At normal viewing it looks ok.
I added the blur because on some mobile devices I tested (Android devices), the text was too much pixelated. If you want I can add an option that turns blur on and off. Btw many thanks for the feedback!
That’d be a nice option. You’re welcome. Really like the timers!
Thanks again
Hi schmtzrbuck, Please contact me through my author page, so I can mail you version with blur control.

There’s a bug with the index.html interface. If I change the “bgr color” from the default #333333 to anything else it lets me do it. But when I change any other setting it reverts back to #333333.
No big deal, just more annoying.
Thank you for the purchase. I will update my item with the fix but in the meantime you can add within “onchange” attribute for “ui_bgr_color” input the following command: bgr_color = ’#’+this.color; . (line 687 that is).
Ok. thanks!
I just posted the update with that fix. If you like my item can you please leave a rating. It helps me a lot.
Would it be possible to place seperators between groups i.e. 12:04?
It is not possible at this time but I will do my best to code that feature in the weekend. I will use the color settings that apply to the group labels. Thank you for the purchase.
Thank you, that would be great. No need to hurry though, if it could be in there before March it would be fine. Thank you for your effort!

Hello chrisdean, Very nice Countdown script. Are you familiar with PrestaShop? If so how much would it cost to make it as a module?
Regards,
ysco..
Thank you for the nice comment. I must admit I am not familiar with PrestaShop, but I will look into it.
Would be great if you could make a module for it
As i m very interested in this, there is no prestashop module that has such beautiful countdown as yours.
Regards,
ysco..
hi there ! can you make this like 1,2,3,4 …. ? and so… or it can only display time ?
One of my demos counts elapsed time. It sets now as starting time and that gives the effect you talk about.
Love this, all the best my friend!
Thanks a lot!
