Guys, I will not beg you to ask for support before leaving a rating. That is because you always do so. With the exception of a fellow author who does not. Although he asks others, to not act like he acts. Which is weird. Anyway.

This individual violated community guidelines (Please Do Not: Encourage personal attacks, call out another user and/or sabotage a user’s item. This includes: Using the item comments or ratings system to sabotage or defame an author or item. http://themeforest.net/community/community_guidelines). Well, he used the rating system to sabotage my item. Twice. With this comment I want to inform him, that I will not tolerate such actions – past or future ones.

If you want to go up in all lists – improve yourself, don’t sabotage the others.. I will not suffer every time he receives bad rating.

I decided to write my statement here and not to use his name, because I don’t want to break the rules (of this site, and also morals).

Works perfectly! And the developer is very responsive to questions and open to custom modifications. Very happy with this purchase!

Thank you for the kind words!

Hey there. Great job on his script. Wondering if there’s an easy way to move the DAYS, HOURS, MINUTES, SECONDS text above the ticker how my client requested it. I personally like it below but he was hoping for it above.

Thanks

Hi there! Thank you for the purchase! Please write me an email to rimisark_74@yahoo.com and I will send you back an update when I manage to make that change.

Hi there!

Is it possible to easily implement this great countdown in our Magento based webshop (1.8.0.1)? Can you give us a hint how to do that? We aren’t very experienced in web design so maybe it’s a stupid question.

Thanks in advance

I mailed you my question ;)

Thanks for the super fast reply and the great support! It works like magic and the countdown is exactly what I was looking for. You certainly don’t need much knowledge of code because the Visual Builder does all the work for you, wonderful! I would recommend this countdown to everybody who needs one.

Thanks!!!

I am passing a variable (via PHP) to the script, but it isnt showing on a certain page, but works on another page, which is really odd.

Please can you take a look and see if you can see why it isnt working?

I can email you the pages if you can take a look?

Chris, Thanks this is awesome! One question…

Is it possible to apply the gradients and colors, not in an alternating pattern, but rather one set to the days/hours/minutes and the other to the seconds? This is what I am trying to achieve.

Thank you for your help. Dylan

hi dylan. thanks for the purchase. i can do that change for you. please contact me at rimisark_74@yahoo.com i will be available in 2-2.5 hours

Thank you for the rating!

This script is UNBELIEVABLE! It knocked the clients socks clean off! Thank You So Much!! More of this quality please….. :-)

Stuart

Thank you, Stuart!! :)

Wow, wonderful tool. I have used it on Mobile App, works like a charm !!

Excellent support available and the developers set the tool as per requirement. Must buy

Thanks!

The timer is invisible after the countdown is over. Can we display the timer even after the countdown is zro as 000:00:00 ?

The only way to display the timer after target date is to set target_future to false, but it will continue to count. 00:01, 00:02, etc. I am using this to make the counter showing not only remaining but elapsed time too. You can contact me at rimisark_74@yahoo.com with more detailed specs and I will make changes for your individual needs.

I have mailed you. Please check

How would I set_options([“target_date”,2019/1/1 00:02:00]); ?

There seems to be an error in this syntax

No, not working ! . It says Unexpected token ILLEGAL.

Also, the timer autostarts everytime. Is there any way to start it on a button click ?

I tested c1.set_options([“target_date”,”2019/1/1 00:02:00”]); before offering it to you. Note that simple copy and paste of the code you see in these comments relpaces the quotation marks to the ILLEGAL symbols you talk about.

Also in the documentation you can find out that paused option is available. You can set it to false, which will pause the countdown when it is created. Then on button click you can c1.play_anim().

So maybe I just can’t read….I can not get any of the options to work in the ( http://dotstudio.co.uk/codecanyon/countdown/demo/) I am replacing the code given into the <script> tags and everything just goes away. The only script that works is the default from the documentation…...ANY HELP would be appreciated.

Thank you for the purchase and sorry for the late reply. I just tested again and I think nothing is wrong with the files. When you copy the code from the visual builder, then you have to open simple_demo1.html and paste the code instead of the existing ResponsiveCountdown code. You have to leave the $(function() { and the closing } that exist before and after the code you need to replace though. Please email me at rimisark_74@yahoo.com and I can assist you more.

Guys, last update with custom mode is still in the queue. Please, contact me through my author’s page, so I can email it to you. I guess in few hours that issue will be resolved anyway.

My email is rimisark_74@yahoo.com. Email me the zip you purchased and I will send you back the updated file. I did not expect for the update to take that long.

Update is up.

Hi Chrisdean,

I am really liking the look of this counter. I was wondering if there’s a way to have it function more like an “odometer counter” instead of a date countdown. Something similar to this:

http://www.frontendmatters.com/demos/jodometer/

Where the numbers slide up at set intervals at set amounts.

Thank you.

Hello, Sorry for the late reply. I plan to add custom mode, where only the days digits are showing. In this mode they can be spearated in thousands, also they are having leading zeroes (00,012,980 for example). In this mode the tool only updates when a public method is called that passes the new state (“00013020” for example). This means that what will the tool show and when it will show it depends on the logic you create outside the tool and use it only as presentation. If that suits you I can send you this update which I am still not ready to publish. Contact me through my authors page if you decide to purchase my item and I will email you the files.

hi I didnt get the update unfortunately … :( can you let me know where to look for it Thanks in advance or email it to me again please R

I sent it again. I knew yahoo was doing something wrong :). Now it got through I think.

Perfection!! Thanks for the update it works perfect in tables now and superb in tablet and phone mode, when inside responsive tables Thanks for the amazing support you have shown .. With regard to you earlier post I really think this padding option would be useful across the board. Best 5 bucks ever spent! Thanks again

Thank you! :)

Guys, do you think the top padding in the canvas object, that shows when you have labels is not necessary? I can remove it, but want to ask you if you need that added in an update? Maybe an option that can swith that on and off…?

<div id="first_countdown" style="position: relative; width: 100%;" />

Thank you for your findings. I can offer you altered version of the plugin that gets rid of the top padding in the canvas object.

I am not sure if other guys need that in an update?

Great plugin and so simple to use ! ” Luv it! One question though … I am looking to add this in a table row of events and there seems to be a margin or padding top and bottom of the timer Also as you reduce the page in size (responsive) the margin gets larger and more space top and bottom. Is there anyway of rid of it so I have just the height of the counter itself Thanks

<div id="first_countdown" style="position: relative; width: 100%;" />

I sent you an altered version. Please confirm when you receive it.

Can i have multiple counters on my site?

Yes you can. You need multiple div elements, each with id attribute, to attach the countdowns to. If you need more help pplease write me at rimisark_74@yahoo.com. Thank you for the purchase.

Thank you. One more thing – can this timer be synced to some time server? Now when i change date in my computer, timer changes too.

Yes you are right. The tool takes the time from the client. If you can not use it without that option I can try to add it – need to do some research. Although I am not sure how good it will work if it looks like every second for the time from the server.

Hello.

I like the style of the numbers. That’s how i would show the jackpots at my site. Is there a way to use the font for this too ? Or… perhaps it’s an idea for a new script ?

Display numbers with fixed width ? To get the same size for all jackpots, it should display zeros in front.

Example : 000.000.123.456 instead of 123456

Thanks in advance.

Please write me using my author’s page. It is end of working day and I need to take the kid now. We can discuss over the email what you need exatcly. Thank you for the purchase.

Please, email me so I can send you update that will suit your needs.

before i purchase i was just wondering two things.

1. is it possible to make it automatically reset the countdown every day.

2. does it go off of the viewers computer clock?

It is too early here. I will answer in 2 hours.

It is possible to set the target_date to the begining or ending of current day. This way the counter will count elapsed or remaining time (00:00:00 > 23:59:59 or 23:59:59>00:00:00). If user happens to load your page near the end of the day, it is possible to set a complete handler function that simply restarts the timer. If you send me message through my author’s page I can assist you with that. Also the tool supports time zones if that is what you mean in #2.
