Hi i’m designing a online banner on Adobe Animated Edge and i just wondering if is possible to use this jQuery on Adobe Edge? How can i integrate this to my ad? Amazing work btw, and thanks for your help.

Regards Alexander

Thank you for your kind words. I found this – http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-add-custom-jquery-code-to-animate.html – I don’t have experience with it, but I guess I can assist with it. It looks like it is possible to add a js file (the countdown file) and then execute javascript (some code prepared in the visual builder).

Thank you so much for a quick answer, i found that link also but im not familiar with jQuery. So my problem is where to put the code i have got from your file.

I need to read more about Adobe Edge. Can you send me any info I need to use in order to modify your banner at rimisark_74@yahoo.com. I can find some time tonight (although kids eat it all :) ) or tomorrow when I come back at the office (it is ~ 5PM here now).

This item was the best rated in codecanyon.net for many months. Not because it is perfect, but because I did my best to answer all questions, add all features and help everyone who had issues.

Hi, thank you for this great tool. I am currently struggling with one thing: is it possible to add a border around the single digits. I am familiar with js, but sadly not with canvas drawing. Where is the place in the script to add something like stroke() around the digit squares. Thanks for your help in andvance, Best Regards -daniela

Thank you for the purchase! I will be able to work with you tomorrow. Just don’t have the time right now – coloring Easter eggs :)

Hi again! Can you please email me at rimisark_74@yahoo.com a screenshot of your idea. I am a bit confused, because currently the digits do have a panel drawing they sit in. You want to add a border to the panel?

Hi, my timer has now reached the time and on every page the timer is on a popup box appears “The page at (my url) is ready!” You have to click ok to make the box go away, but the timer is blank. I now want to make the timer count up, i think i achieved this by setting the offset to minus and added the relevant value, but although the settings page shows the timer counting up, the actual page is still blank, showing the popup box. I see you have already answered someone else regarding this and telling them to set the target_future to false, but i cannot find this in the setting, is this some kind of code i have to put somewhere? hope you can help, thanks… ;-)

Type the code. Don’t paste it. Use single quotes.

Hi, the url is: http://stinet.co.uk/trustcares/ you can see the timer on the top of the homepage. I have typed the code manually and now get a timer counting down, not in my colour scheme either, but the date in the settings is 2015/4/1 (1st April 2015), if i set this to anytime in the future it works fine, can’t seem to figure it out?, ps, i can give you access if you can email me privately? sturner@stinet.co.uk :-)

I just emailed you.

Hi,

I have a client that wants to show years in the timer. They have been in business for 100 years and they want to show a count up clock (which we have done) but they want the timer to show the 100 years also in the timer. Can you explain how this can be done please?

Thank you for your interest! Unfortunately the item does not have the option to show years :(. It can only show days with many digits. Like it can show 36500 days, hours, minutes, seconds, but I am sure that is not what they are looking for.

I can add that option in an update. I will have time in the next 10 work days to add it.

The program works great.

At first I had a problem running. My knowledge of how and what to do was too small. Very good contact with the author. Very good support. Regards

Thanks!

The labels font, font size, and color can be set with ease. Is there a way to set the font weight? not all fonts support 100-800 but i’d like to know how to set the label fonts to bold

A future update with the option would be nice. Is it line 590? Just change normal to bold i’m assuming.

Yes, that is it :)

I have an update in the queue. I may email it to you if you write me at rimisark_74@yahoo.com

I am having issues changing the time – Its off by 12 hours no matter what I do. I am trying to create a countdown counting from March 8 noon to May 2 Noon, which would be 54 days 23 hours … but its giving me 7 hours. My time zone is set to -4, i’ve tried using just the servers time.. but nothing is working to get accurate results. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated

Hello and thank you for the purchase. I am in time zone +2 and just tested it. It is 8:07 AM now – 9th of March. I set 2015/5/2 12:00:00 and it gives me 54 days 3 hours 52 minutes … Since you want to check from noon time previous day I will need to add these 8 hours and 7 minutes which passed from midnight and then another 12 hours which passed from noon the 8th of March, which gives me 54 days, 23 hours, 52 minutes, ... which is what you are expecting to see. You can write me at rimisark_74@yahoo.com with some more explanations about what you did, or maybe some screenshot. By the way this tool calculates the remaining time from now till the target date. In order to get the result you want you have to manually change the date back to noon 8th of March just before you load your page. It does not have a feature where you can set staret date/time and target date/time.

Hi, I need to reinitialize the countdown with my server DateTime, without refresh page. How can I do?

Well if you use the server_now_date option then the page will load taking into account the time on the server http://dotstudio.co.uk/codecanyon/countdown/demo/documentation.html . Issues may arise if someone deliberately changes the clock on the client after this – the tool will not be able to show correct values until page reloads. But aside from that case it should work fine.

To overcome this you may execute some ajax call that asks for the server_now_date value again. When the result arrives you may destroy and create the tool again, because I don’t believe I included the server_now_date option in the list that you can change with set_options method. I guess it will not be ok to execute that ajax call every second, because it will ruin the experience.

thanks for support, i’ll try to use the ajax call to destroy and create the countdown again.

If you have difficulties I may try to put this parameter in the list changeable by the set_options method, later this week. Then you will simply need to execute a set_options command, I think… Sorry I begin to forget what I did 14 months ago…

Can I add To Blog Post

Thank you for your interest. It can work on any site if it uses jquery, if you add the js file of the tool, if you use a div element to host the tool and if you execute the init code. So you need to have access to the hosting of the web site, where you have to put the tool js file.

Can I use this on multiple domains?

If you want to honor the – http://codecanyon.net/licenses/faq – then you need one license per domain.

Hello, I just wanted to make sure this would do why I am lookin for before I buy it.

I want to put this on my demo portal to countdown when all the demos get reset (every hour).

I wanted to make sure that the countdown would be tied into the system, not the user’s session? In other words, when a user goes to that area, it wouldn’t start at 60 mins, but would already be in the process of the countdown.

Secondly, that when it hits the 0:00 it resets back to 60:00—-or is there some way I can tie it into the cron job that will be resetting the databases??

Thank you for your help!

Hello, it is midnight here and I just got home. If you can wait till tomorrow and drop me an email at rimisark_74@yahoo.com, I can answer and we can discuss more. In any event I can devote time to make the countdown fulfill your needs.

Thank you for the rating, Chris!

hi sir

i bouth your buttifull contdown but i have a quastion.

are there any way to avoid rip my style js of jQuery Responsive Countdown with Visual Builder from my site?

There is no css file really. Everything is done with javascript commands. Show me a link of your site and we can decide how to do some basic protection of your countdown style. I will be able to check in few hours.

Thanks. I wrote you back using your gmail account.

Thank you, pablosalaverry!!!

Hello, Beautiful design. Happy that it’s possible to translate the labels but is it possible to have several (same design) counters on a single page and have a different countdown for each item of a list of 5 to 6 max ? Thanks for your answer. Sorry for my english, hope you will understand.

Yes it is possible. The only down side is that it uses canvas and if your countdowns are too big it may have performance issues on devices with poor hardware. I have one big and one small here, but you can have 5,6 small for sure – http://www.dotstudio.co.uk/wordpress-responsive-countdown/

Thanks a lot, we installed it in the meantime and it works. Product purchased by Phillipaldridge, rating you 5 stars at the moment. Thanks for quick support.

Thank you very much. Rating helps me a lot! Write me to rimisark_74@yahoo.com if you have any issues in the future.

Hello please can the countdown countdown to a date for example a programme date that starts and end a programme 1st-28th December can it start counting from 1st and end 28th automatically

Thank you for your interest! You can set the target date of the item to 28th of December 2014. If you publish the page with the countdown added on the 1st of December then it will start to countdown the remaining time. On the target date/time it will no longer showing. You can test on the demo page using the Visual Builder. Check this blog post too – http://www.chillgeeks.com/2014/04/add-a-countdown-to-your-page-using-jquery-responsive-countdown.html

Thank you, tricia101 !!!

Can you please help me? i’m trying to add some “text” in front of the counter like “You have this many days before our discount is gone:” but when ever i add text, it gets overlapped by the timer….

Please write me to rimisark_74@yahoo.com with a link to your site and more details if any. I can help you in like 10 hours – its almost am here.

Hi again. You did not email me, so I wanted to tell you that anything you put in the counter container gets deleted and replaced with few canvas objects. So in order to place anything on top of it you will need another container with positioning and coordinates that match those of the container.

I’m currently trying to work with the responsive countdown on my website. I’ve added all the necessary documents for the install to work. However, It does not seem to be working. I get the error below Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function

Have you had anyone have the same issue or know how to fix this?

Thank you but I got it working! It was configuration issues on our side. I do appreciate your quickness in responding to my email. I thought it was going to take days to hear from you. I do appreciate your help.

It is OK. I am happy it works. Drop me a message when you publish it. I want to see it in action :). If you like it, please leave a rating when you can. It helps me a lot.

Thanks for the rating, dirod1989!

Call me simple, but where in my Wordpress file structure should I unzip the files to a folder and how do I then access the index.html?

Hello. I just got a message from envato that my WordPress plugin got approved. If you check my portfolio you will find it.

This one is the jQuery only version, which can not be inserted in WP with a simple install.

Write me at rimisark_74@yahoo.com.

So how would I install it into wordpress? Or should I contact evanto and see if they can change my purchase to the plugin for the difference in cost given I only purchased the original today?

Just write me. We will figure this out. Or you can be refunded and then purchase the other one. I don’t know if they refund 100% though.
