no. We will release an update after some ongoing issue get fixed in SDK 54
Is there an estimated time to get the latest update?
We are waiing for the new SDK to get stabilized form Expo team in relation to the other packages. Also there are no any pressing isues on the App at the moment, so we are allowing the time for these framework issues to get solved in latest versions and post that we will release accordingly. Our solution has no breaking issues at the momeet which needs an immidiate update right now and we are keping an eye on the developments on the framework, and will take actions accordingly.

Booking instructions details not showing when the driver go to booking after he accept the trip. It is just showing the locations from abd to. Are u understanding me? the driver may be need to check the instructions again after accept the trip but it is not show it is just show in first time when he click on accept trip

Just to update you – the issue I faced on the Huawei Y9, where I couldn’t type anything in the “Add Vehicle” page, was caused by a custom keyboard theme on my phone. Once I changed the keyboard theme to the default one, everything worked fine.
It might be helpful to investigate this further or add a notice in the app for users on Huawei/EMUI devices if such behavior is detected.

Pre purchase Hello actually in the demo there are no cost of google map api right ??? Because you don’t use like tracking or distance matrix ? And you use deeplink to delegate exclusively the routage to google map api?
There are costs like the places and geocoding even if the distance matrix is turned off. Distance matrix can be enabled from the Admin panel for enabling the features.
But in place api we have lat and long, Using geocoding is not redundancy ?
I forgot to mention the Autocomplete API in my last response. It’s the reason we need multiple API calls. The Autocomplete API is the key for the search address feature, and it only gives back the place_id in return: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/places/web-service/place-autocomplete. Google could’ve added lat/lng there, but they decided to bill for another API call. So, after getting the place_id, you’ll need to use the Places API to get the lat/lng: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/places/web-service/place-details.
We will need the lat lng — react-native-maps and other app features rely on lat/lng to function.
Now, geocoding is separate from all of this. When a user enters the app, we’re expected to get their current location from the device’s geolocation. To show the address of where they’re standing, the only option is reverse geocoding from Google: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/geocoding/requests-reverse-geocoding.
Feel free to share if you know any better ways to handle this. We’d appreciate the knowledge!

How frequently are driver location updates sent to the server? Can we increase the interval to reduce usage? Are distance or ETA calculations done per request, or are results reused/cached when possible? If we disable the Distance Matrix and live driver tracking, can the app still operate efficiently with up to 2,500 delivery drivers? Are we using any free alternatives to Google APIs (like OpenStreetMap, OSRM, or Mapbox) for routing or geolocation? Do we track all drivers continuously, or only those who are actively on a delivery? What is the estimated monthly cost of API usage for 500, 1,000, and 2,500 drivers? Is the app able to use fallback logic (local/offline) when API rate limits are hit or services are unavailable? Do all real-time features (e.g., location, ETA) require high precision, or can we tolerate slight delays to save on cost? Places API & Geocoding: In the demo, only 3 suggestions from the Google Places API are shown, and geocoding is used to convert addresses. What would be the estimated monthly cost if we use: Google Places API (Autocomplete with 3 suggestions per search) Geocoding API (for pickup and drop-off address resolution) How many API calls are triggered per user action? Are these calls cached to reduce costs? Hosting & Infrastructure: What is the recommended hosting option for performance and scalability: CPanel (shared hosting) or a VPS/cloud provider like DigitalOcean? If we go with DigitalOcean, what server specs would you recommend to support up to 2,500 active delivery drivers? Let me know if you need clarification on any of these points.

Why react native and not flutter? Is it better?
It’s mostly a matter of personal preference! I’ve been a JavaScript developer since way back and started working with React Native when it came out in 2015. A lot of developers who enjoy Go or Dart tend to lean toward Flutter, and that’s totally cool too!
For us, React Native became the natural choice, especially since we’d been using React Native long before Flutter even existed. Over time, we built our company and products around React Native, and we’ve found it an amazing and flexible framework to work with!

We truly appreciate your suggestion! Right now, our roadmap is focused on optimizing the existing experience, and AI integrations are still under evaluation. Given the current financial climate, especially with international currency challenges, and the limited price of the products we need to be cautious with how we scale. That said, we’re always open to feedback and may revisit this in the future.
