So today I open an acount in Mandrill to use the script, and I put the API or I put the SMTP from Mandrill, I get always:

But I ia doubt on the dévrabilité mails when you’re over 10 000 emails … Indeed, large we all know have a partnership dévrabiilté the level of Internet access providers, so I wonder if our simple server 90 euros / month will be able to do the same thing that big companies that handle send thousands a day … If you have information, please.

Thank you for purchase Lethe. We have test it with 2b subscriber on different platforms. There no problem for deliverability. Server differences and limits most important for the script. But you can separate of your lists as same campaigns but different launch dates. That would be great if you working on shared hosting.

Sure you can test it with small list. But importer using pagination system. Its will not load all datas. 500 record for each phase.

Total subscriber count doesnt matter for system performance. Your “Mail Per Connection”, “Stand By” limits important for performance. For example if want to try 10k email in one connection, you may get trouble for system performance. System will fetch 10k record and smtp server will try 10k submission. Thats will eat your CPU and memory resource.

I think about a pruchase, but i have some questions:
We got 2 Types of CMS in our online advertising campaign: Wordpress & Magento
Question1: We got a high performace dedicated server. We got about 5000 to 10000 subscribers. Does your System handle these number of subscribers? We do not want to use MailChimp or other optin marketing firms. The Newsletter should be generated via cron jobs, php, html etc.
Question2: Is it possible to implement the Newsletterform to wordpress & Magento (via html/php code)? The Newsletter System itself would be in a seperate directory.

1- Yes, you can import large amount subscribers to Lethe. We have test it over 200k~ without server issues. Current system using panel cron only 3 task file: newsletters / autoresponders / bounces. New version will come with shell based cron management.
2- Yes, you can manage Lethe remote server or directory. If you want to add / remove option, it could be used as Custom Forms feature on your CMS profile / registration form area.

Lethe is not a plugin and you cannot integrate to wordpress, its uses their own framework.
Daily send limit can be set as your submission account limits, currently there no have limit required for Lethe but if your submission account has a daily limit for sending, you should be use correct limit value.

Hello. I’m a musician from Brazil. And have a huge liste with 50.000 emails of Fans since 2006 But a lot of this emails is going to Bounce lists and Blocking my MailChimp account… I miss a lot of money with that situation. Is your script able to checked this 50.000 emails and return me a list with Valid or Invalid emails, before I send real emails and take my server to a blacklist or something?

If you already have 50k email list for your subscribers you cannot check which one want to see of your mails. You must be control verified subscribers before subscribing actions. New uptade will contain campaign score about clicks/opens/bounces Mail valitadtions requires confirmaions before subscribing.

This fans have opt-in many years ago, and a Lot of this emails, does not exist anymore, this is blocking my sendings in Mailchimp. I wanna know if your system can send emails, to all my list and return me if the email is valid. so I will only send to the valid adresses before this. Thanks

Current system working as signle opt-in style. New update will come with two option for verifications. But if you wanna use that with your current list, you will lose again your subscribers. Thats not mean verifications etc.. May be you should be check your mail body quailty or DKIM, SPF controls before send your mails.

Hi, just want to say this is one great script, I have been using it for a while, but I need to start sending out automatic emails to clients on their birthdays. I have never tried to do it on the system. Is it possible and if it is how can i set it up.

Sorry for late reply, you can use autoresponder for birthday cycle. Please check autoresponder actions for that. But subscriber date field must be filled by their birth dates.

I am looking to purchase this and have a few questions beforehand.
1 – Can a subscriber be in more than one group? If not, can I have the same subscriber duplicated so I can have him in multiple groups?
2 – Is it possible to limit certain groups based on the user who is logged in? For instance, UserA has an admin login but can only send to Groups 1 & 3.

1- Current system allowed that your request, yes you can store same subscribers on different groups. But I’ve remove this option for new update.
2- Permission system works like global access for all users. If you close view access for groups, all users cannot use group section. Its page-based control not record.

why does each page take so long to open? It loads for 8-10 secs and then opens. Its a dedicated server so no issues with hardware spec. Any known reason?

Did you try it on localhost or different server? Our demo system on shared server and pages pretty fast loading. Also you can try that with different internet connection. Panel pages does not contain a lot of calculation / db process etc codes.

I don’t understand how bounce handler works, you need a step-by-step guide in your next update as it’s confusing.
1. I entered correct POP/IMAP settings and setup cron job.
2. I created a subscriber group and imported dummy emails (that are sure to bounce).
3. I scheduled the newsletter
4. Emails were sent fine
5. It shows 0 Bounces
But I do get bounced emails in my desktop mail program saying:
“Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender.”
So how to make Lethe detect that? Please clarify with easy steps.
Its checking mailbody and subject with defined rules Lethe will come 215 common error rules you can increase it with your incoming mail experiences.
1- Cron periodicly run your bounce file 2- Bounce handler connect to your mailbox as you entered login informations. 3- Mails controlled by your stored bounce rules. 4- Bounce action execute if rule is matched your returned mails
thats all, if you already have a bounce rule with same string in your returned mail, and its doesnt apply action, there an connection problem occurred I guess. Its a simple string controller it is not difficult to understand.

Our example bounce rule is;
554 denied -> Remove From Database
1 – Cron will run your bounce handler file.

3 – When 554 denied text matched on returned message, it will removed from your mailbox, also bounced mail will removed from database as your selected action.
Bounce catcher working as a simple string controller, its not a %100 cleaner for bounce mails. You can add unlimited rules after incoming mail experiences.

If you cannot connect to your mailbox with script-side your hosting service provider doesnt allow to use imap_open function then. imap_open function is common pop/imap controller, I didnt request from you shell access, its a simple php function, and its required for bounce mail controls. Please check your imap_open function access for usage, maybe your hosting service provider does not allow to use that or firewall.

I am trying to import address data using the custom import model :

My test import file has 5 entries, when I click the import button the browser just hangs with no error message or timeout.
I have set error reporting to e-strict but see no error messages. I have created the /lethe_export folder and it has write access (777).
I need to import 20,000 addresses.
