Hi, I have a whole bunch of question I hope you can help me answer. We will be using Buddypress for accounts/profiles. And if some of the below features are not out of the box/already developed as an add-on will you consider being hired in to develop these?
1.When signing up for a free or a paid events (I know the last is an add-on) will the system send out an ‘order’ confirmation on email for both (even though one is a free event)?
2. Is it possible to set up different search options for the calendar e.g. Sport/Exhibitions/Parties?
3. Can you see what other people have signed up for a specific event (and is it possible to see a small thumbnail image of the ones that have signed up?)
4. If you’ve signed up for a free event by clicking YES, can you sign off it again by simply clicking NO?
5. Will events that the user has signed up for show up on their profile?
6. I see there’s an option to add a private (user generated) calendar. When creating an event will it be possible for the user to tick off whether their private event shall only show on their profile or show on the site as well (where the main calendar is)?
7. Is it possible when creating an event in the user generated calendar to tag other users e.g. “Beach party today at 10pm – together with @xx and @xx” (and will this event show up in the tagged users private calendar if accepted by the tagged user?)

Hi Maria,
THe plugin is not based or built specifically for BuddyPress system, so I will try to answer your questions best I can, but not all of them are going to be complete, because we have not specifically tested with BuddyPress:
1. The system uses WooCommerce for the “Paid” events, so you have the ability to use whatever options WooCommerce has built in for notifications.
2. As the Search function for the Plugin is pretty new, we haven’t really set any filters or functionality like that into the feature yet, but this could be a good request.
3. Only RSVP events show who is attending, with a little hover that is shown. Customization would need to be done to achieve the thumbnail option.
4. You can manage your own RSVP yes, so you can Un-RSVP for sure.
5. Not integrated at the moment into Buddy Press.
6. The user generated events all go to the main plugin system. It is up to the Admin how he wants to display those events, and who they are displayed by. I guess you would need to plan out who’s handling the events and calendars, and what method works best for your situation. Again, this is not BuddyPress developed, so you would need some tweaking to get it perfect.
7. Not at the moment, but this is a cool idea.
Again, sorry for the vague responses, but we’ve not developed the Plugin to be solely used for the BuddyPress system, how you are describing it 100%. However, this is very intriguing and I will make sure Ashan reads this thread.

I have a problem with EventOn & Single Event On.
We have a repeating event on our calendar which name is weekly worship; https://communitycarlisle.org/resources/calendar/ The next Weekly Worship event is on the March 1 as you see on calendar.
But when I share this event the link always goes/shows always to first event’s created date, like this; https://communitycarlisle.org/events/weekly-worship/
So the people who see to my shared link they don’t think there is a Weekly Worship event on March 1
This is really problem for us. Please help me I there is a way.

Could not even log to Wordpress. We’ve deactivated the plugin (via the host) in order to get the website back and I would like to know how can I make the plugin work without destroying the all website. I do not have deep technical knowledge so please be soft! Im not sure what location your map is supposed to point to, can you please be more specific?
Also, i am seeing the map working here in Chrome: http://pbrd.co/1BsCbEDI’ve left it go for about 5 minutes now, and still appears in same position.
What browser is it you are having troubles with?
The featured image size should be whatever works best in your site… the width of the calendar fits 100% width of whatever content it is inside of, so if your site content is 1240px wide, adjust it that wide, if its smaller like 600px wide, adjust it at least that size.
thanks for replying so quickly I’m using chrome and this is were the fault is… on mobile mobile the map works fine and unlike chrome doesn’t automatically disappear after 30 seconds…

Hi, the plugin is really neat, and I love the look and feel, and also the tons of features.
I have 3 questions about licensing and addons, and updates :
1/ do you offer packages (core plugin + addon/s)
2/ If I can bought an unlimited sites licence for the addons, can I do it for the core plugin ?
3/ I’ve seen a comment about the impossibility to update the plugin trough the wordpress dashboard, is it correct?, and if it is does the plugin saves the preferences?

The plugin is sold exclusively here at Envato. They offer a single License PER domain, as our addons offer from 1-5 to unlimited sites.
No, Envato does not offer unlimited license, not sure why they don’t offer a developer license or “extended license”. That’s something you would need to speak to them about as we unfortunately do not handle sales here at Code Canyon.
There has been issues in the past with EventON update server being swamped, as you can imagine at least 11K copies installed and looking at our server for updates, however, our latest version is standing steady and activating with little issues if any, with the Dashboard update displayed as well.
The plugin preferences are all saved via your Database, so even changing or overriding for some need via FTP would not overwrite any of the core files or preferences.

But if i have an event that repeats every Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays forever…... how can i set it if, with your plugin, i can set the maximum that the event is repeated for 100 times? What could cost to you to make sure that events can be repeated more than 100 times? For example, setting the value to 0, the event will be repeated infinitely Doing this implementation? Yes? Thanks! I have my shortcode limiting the number of events to 5, but I need for the list to show 5 more events if the user clicks the right arrow. Currently, it changes months and doesn’t give me 5 more events that are happening, for example, next week. How do I get the calendar list of events to do this?
Also, as events pass, say I have an event from 3 days ago, it still shows up on the list of 5 events. I have the hide past option in my shortcode as well.

Does the event calendar register how many places/tickets there a available?
For example: 1 event has 10 places available a costumer can book. When a customber books 2 places, the next costumer must see that there is only 8 places left.

Yes, This can be done through the WooCommerce side of things, setting capacity limit for tickets and also displaying how many tickets are left as an added option in the front end: seen herE:

Are you using the Full Calendar Addon? If so, you need to use the shortcode generator to generate the code to place into your page.

Hi there, Two presale question: We are using the KLEO theme (based on BBPress) and would like to offer the users an event calendar.
However if signing up/buying ticket to any of the events we would like these events to show up in the users profile. Does this plugin support that?
Also we need to set a limit to how many people can sign up for an event/buy ticket – for example max 100 people… is this possible?

Not sure what you mean by NAME of calendar?
You can load any calendar, any categories, and have it display on your page within the content area. If you are looking for a “Title” or “Name” of a calendar above the calendar, you can simply use your own text before the shortcode, and format that text as H1, H2, etc. as you would need.

i meant, in the shortcodes, you call the calendar by ID, can you call it by the name of the calendar?
Noticed you can add locations. Is there a way to show the shortcode by location?

sorry no you can not refer to a shortcode using the ID because the shortcode is not save in database
how do i display two different events that are held on the same day? when i add second event that is on same date it wont save that date?which im assuming is because the first event has the same date?
no, it should save as many events on the same day that you want.
What shortcode are you using, the event should show if you set the Start and End date for each event.
