Sorry, We didnt understand what you mean with “Maximum Options”, Do you mean the number of choices/answers? If yes, Then there is no limit to photo-contest and video-contest, Unlike opinion that can view only 2 choices.
About 4 and 5, Both of them are possible as a customization.

Hi. I bought your plugin and the starter bundle. I created my first video poll here (http://www.blogtodojuegos.cl/2015/02/cual-fue-el-mejor-trailer-de-esta-semana/) but keep “loading” and I can’t see any video. I used the normal link from YouiTube on Batman video (the ”/watch?v=” link) and I used the embed links on the other ones (the ”/embed/” links). Any solution? Thanks.

This is a common mistake, Actually inserting the youtube link isn’t the right way to add a video choice, You should enter the embed code instead.
You can get the embed code by going to the video you want on Youtube then click Share, After that select Embed and you will get a code.
Copy this code into the embed code field in your poll options page and it should work fine.

Well, the issue is when you open a video. Instead of showing the full box, it shrinks in the middle of the screen showing nothing. I removed the YouTube codes and put a DailyMotion ones and it worked fine, so it’s a problem with YouTube only. I don’t know why.

Actually, We tried using Firefox and Chrome to test a poll that has 2 YouTube videos, The results seems to be fine on both browsers, Please try to empty your cache on Firefox and try again.
About the video image in a square form, Actually its not necessary to have a rectangle image, It can be in any shape, The reason why your images are not fitting, This is because the images you’re using are so small (150×150px), And just because the video-contest template makes the image containers responsive, Your image size shouldn’t be less than 33.3% of the poll context (As 33.3% is the width for each box), Hope that is understandable
Obviously there are ways to tweak them but you will lose the responsiveness in this case.

Hi there, I just downloaded and installed the plug in and purchased additional templates for photo and video votes, only to find out that this whole software will not work properly with the theme I have installed for my client which is a non-responsive wp-theme.
Is there any way to fix this problem or maybe a previous version of the plugin and templates that will display correctly on a non-responsive site? Technically everything seems to work fine except that the css is no loaded and displayed properly. A test shows that it works fine on another of my sites that actually has a reponsive theme.
I would like to use this plugin for my client, but switching the main theme to responsive is not an option right now. Any suggestions? cheers andrea

First of all, We dont think its necessery for the WordPress theme to be responsive to make TotalPoll shows up correctly there, To be more clear, TotalPoll resets all the CSS for its container, And that makes it shows in its way no matter what the theme is.
So it really might be another issue with loading CSS or something, Can you please contact us through a profile message and provide us with examples, screenshots or even temporary access to you clients site ? So we can know what is wrong there exactly.

we just found out that the plugin destroys the HTML of our non resposive site. There seems to be a problem with the social sharing options. We have commented out the following lines in the template’s footers and now it works fine:

Glad you liked the plugin
TotalPoll has 4 basic security layers to prevent revoting (Sessions, Cookies, IP and IP Range).
However there are more limitations you can enable like restricting/allowing only specific IP addresses/ranges from voting.
Also there is an additional paid addon for TotalPoll that does as you said, It limits each user with 1 vote only per poll, You can check it here.

Well, There is an addon called vote once per user, It allows each user to vote once only per poll, And its available for purchase immediately.
Unfortunately, It doesn’t support multiple votes in period, But we still can do this for you as a customization.

Sorry for the confusion. We thought that you mean “logged in users”.
Actually, For visitors, There is a small solution you can use even if its not ideal but still good, Also it may not allow you to specify number of votes in that period because its already set to 1.
You can enable both Cookies and IP security layers from poll “Limitation” tab, Just because these 2 layers have Timeout.
So, If you activated only these 2 layers with a timeout of “4320 minutes” (3 days), This will restrict the user with 1 vote for 3 days, After the 3 days passes, He should be able to vote once again.
Still, If you really need the ability for users to vote more than once within that timeout period, You will need a customization by contacting us through profile.

Hm, For chartify template, We dont think that the charts support HTML.
However, We will try to find a solution for you, And we will reply back to this comment if we found something, If not, Then you should either use another template (Like default) or use a normal text choices instead.

Hi I downloaded the new version 2.5, but the addon “question-image “ is not fixed and the problem with translations addons is not fixed. The translations work when viewing a poll , but not in the dashboard.
I found a solution :
I regenerate a new file “ totalpoll-default.po ” with all the translations ( Totalpoll + all addons ) .
Then in the addons , you must change the ” texts ” that must appear in the dashboard .
Example for ip-restrict file “ addon.php ” line 99
replace:

PLease we are having a very big issue with your plugin. We activated all restrictions to avoid the multiple vote, but we need that one user MUST vote one only time. With your addon same user can vote more times! (one with pc, one with a phone GMS network, etc) And please, WHERE this vote are stored phisically?

From Design tab, Select Chartify template, The page will reload, After that, Go to Design tab again then open “Charts” tab.
There, You should get an option called “Chart Type”, Select doughnut and you should be fine

In this case you can save your settings and override Default preset for the Default theme.

Yes it is. How can i override the default template? I find the default template folder, but i have not find the file for the preset that i have created.
Aight.
Create a new poll, In the “Design” tab, Keep the preset as it is, Default (do not change it), Then do your customization to the colors/text or whatever you want.
Once you finish, Click publish, By this the poll will be published and the default preset will be overridden, So when you create a new poll and, It will use the same preset.
P.S: You dont have to do any changes to the files, Its all can be done through wp-admin.
