Am I correct that I can only create / generate / display one map at a time on my site? If so, this is the first paid plugin that I’ve ever bought that didn’t allow me to make multiple different versions on my site. This is a huge dealbreaker for me and a warning to anybody thinking about purchasing this plugin.
Hi, You can use the plugin to create one map and use the generated shortcode as many times as you want in your website in different pages to display the map.
Right, but I can’t create a second map (or a third, fourth, etc.) to display on other parts of my site. I have multiple pages that each need different US maps.
You may be interested in the standard Interactive USA Map, you can use it to create different maps and place them in different pages.
Note: This is not a WordPress plugin yet it can be embedded in WordPress using html snippet plugin – a step by step installation guide is included for both standard and WordPress websites.
Thanks for the link, it does appear that might work for my site, however I’m not too excited about paying a second time for what I thought this plugin would do. Is there a reason why the Wordpress plugin can’t generate & save multiple maps?
The standard map files are simple and placed in one folder that you can customize and upload to your website so you can create different instances of the map, but for the WP plugin, the customization is stored in db and it generates one shortcode.
Right on. Well again, I’d strongly suggest a future update allow for multiple shortcode generations from the database. I have at least a dozen plugins, both free and paid, that all have that simple feature.

Hi, That would require customization of the plugin, instead I suggest linking each states to a section in the page using its ID.

Hi, I checked the link and I noticed that, the theme has a “defer” attribute for the jquery and that means it will not run until after the page has loaded, but it should be loaded before other javascript files to make them works properly, btw this issue is affecting other plugins on the site.

Hello, I bought the map, love it and its working perfectly for the application. I was saving some details for the state of Washington and when it re-freshed the map settings page the map is now grey. Attempted to go back and edit WA to see if there was a something I added there that may have caused the issue and I am not able to open the individual states. Seems like its just a .js issue but not sure where to look. This plugin is really well great, I’m sure its a quick fix on my end!

You can click “Restore default” to remove any error that might be happened so you can restart a fresh map.

Hi, great job on this plugin. Is there anyway, a user can create a region. The problem that we are running into is that we need to make New York City and Southern California its own regions – other than that it is a great plugin. Pretty simple to use.

Quick question: our embedded map has a ton of white space at the top and bottom. It seems the height is set in css much higher than is needed. Why is this? How can we adjust for minimal white space above and below the map?
We fixed by adding to our css:
map_base svg {
height:auto !important; }

The Interactive USA Map – HTML5 is not a WordPress plugin yet it can be embedded simply in a WP site using html snippet plugin (a step by step installation guide is included for both standard and WordPress websites).

Hello, love this!! BUT, now matter where I place the map code, it always ends up at the top of the page? Am I doing something Wrong? I also tried placing it in a section, but background doesnt go behind it.

The map preview works like this: when you hover with mouse over a state, this state highlights and when you click it, it opens a link.
I set the link to open the same page in the same window so you may feel it’s not working. so I updated the map preview to open links of another page. I’m sorry for any confusion.
