Registration problem? Not sure, but I just ran a test. I have “Require admin approval” on.

Registered a test account, and then checked my admin side “Users Awaiting Manual Approval”. The test account I created shows up fine, I click approve, and test account gets an email “Thanks for registering. Your account is now active…...”. Then I go to login with the test account and get “redirect loop” happening.

I log back into the admin side and view all the “Users”, the test account does NOT show a check mark (button NOT highlighted blue) for the test account I just approved, but has an additional button “Verified Invite”.

I click “verified invite” and the button changes to “Invitation sent!”. The test account gets an email to verify the account. I click “Get Verified”, and the account gets verified. I log back into the admin side and the button is now blue verified.

I log in with the test account and no redirect loop, log in is fine. I think there is a problem, if I manually approve the account, the account should be switched ON to a blue check mark, and the user should receive an email your account is now active. Seems like clicking “approve” is telling user account is active but it’s not, the admin has to click the approve button or send an invite for the user to verify. Anyway, hope you can fix this.

Hi. When you click on “Request” you can click on a users icon which brings you to their profile page and on the admin side you can can set “Fields to hide completely from profile view”.

I was wondering is there an easy way to view users profiles on the backend, without having to go to their profiles page? I’d like to be able to go to “Request” and (or perhaps a backend user directory) where we can check and review ALL the user details (all fields). Because if I hide fields from view, say phone number, this isn’t shown on the profile page, but I’d still like to be able to review all the users details. Is this available now in the plugin, or a feature that can be added?

Secondly, when restricting pages to members only, if I include a download link to a file I only want members to have access to, I can create say a button with the download link. Is this link protected or is there a way to protect it with this plugin? Or what do you recommend?

A timed “verified member”. So, admin can set for how long a given user can be verified for (daily/weekly/yearly)! then verification becomes expired, and members have to re-request verification!

How do I get my UserPro fields to update my Buddypress Fields?

Members Directory for BP I had to make none click save for Members page to show UserPro’s Member Directory. Is this how you do it? and same with Register Page too????

Hi, I have been using UserPro for few months now and wanted to bring up few issues, would appreciate if you could answer these as clearly as possible since we’re spending way too much time trying to figure these out. 1. Role Based Fileds: this is very confusing since initially the plugin all is un-checked including Admin. Do we Check off the fields for role users to edit OR not edit?? for example; if check is required for role(s) to be able to edit should ADMIN fields need to be unchecked? We currently checked the fields for subscriber to not edit certain field BUT they are able to add info on the fields. [Suggestion]: wouldn’t it be easier to simply be able to hide certain fields by checking off like UPME plugin. 2. For our users we have a Role as Subscriber & Pro Members, what is the shortcode that we need to add on Pro Member’s registration page for automatic role add as Pro Member? 3. For field (Profile Background), what is the recommended width & height size as well as file size, since we’re seeing images loading very slow. 4. For some reason few of the user’s profile photos disappeared and either showing up blank or with question mark. We even tried changing the setting under compatibility settings, few photos and files have disappeared under our server, any suggestion? 5. Page loading transition from member directory to clicking individual profile page is very slow, any suggestion. 6. Currently the upload setting is at default (8388608 bytes=8MB) however under individual profile views it’s showing up 50MB, is this a bug? Maximum file size for uploads including for Media Manager plugin is that for each uploading file or for all files? Thank you

Twitter Redirect not working. I want users to be sent to home page after login/registration. Ive set up call back URL in twitter to home page. Also in Userpro interface the redirect is set to home page and also in userpro custom redirects Ive set all ‘subscribers’ sent to home page. All types of logins and registrations and redirects (FB, G+, default) are working perfectly. Its only the twitter redirect that is not. Any idea?

I have tested by deactivating all plugins with no success.

The groups would be organized into categories, including: 1) prayer meetings, 2) church services, 3) training.
