Is it possible to generate an horizontal signup form with your plugin that is approximately 100px high and 500px wide. My client wants only the email field with the SIGNUP button beside it and the message ontop. In your demo I notice that your forms are huge and vertical.

Okay, currently it doesn’t automatically do the horizontal layout on widget but you can easily achieve this by easily modifying the css.
We have added support for controlling the layout of the form. So now you can define the layout of the form
I just bought this, and so far everything looks great. Simple, effective, and just what I was looking for.
I do have one suggestion that would make it perfect. I’d like to pass a signup source variable to the Mailchimp list so I can easily segment people who subscribe via the popup, and create a unique autoresponder series.
All you need to do is add a hidden field with “SOURCE” as the name, and allow us to include a unique value. Another alternative would be to pull in the groups from Mailchimp lists, and we could segment new signups that way.

Will the coupon still be sent if the user is already subscribed?
For example, user@mail.com is already on my MailChimp list. When he inputs user@mail.com into the form, will he still receive a coupon?
I don’t want users to keep receiving coupons if they’re already on the list.

Hi,
The plugin checks if a user is already registered on the mailing list then it doesn’t allow to add them again. So the users would only get subscribed once and if they would try multiple times then it would give them error.
You can try the demo to see it in action.
Hi magnigenie, I seem to be able to register continuously with the same email and receive multiple coupons. I checked for similar behavior on your demo and couldn’t replicate it.
Is there a chance some settings were changed in the last update?
It doesn’t look like the plugin is checking the list to see if the user already exists. I’m sure this is a consolidated issue. Any ideas on where I should be looking?
You know what, I’m on a VPS and had to CHMOD the files to get it working. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Would you please send me the table names to delete so I can reinstall? Thanks!

Hi Guys, I’m looking to buy this plugin and I noticed it is NOT responsive and doesn’t play nice when view on an iphone.
Also, do you have an option to specify cookie duration for popup so it wont show every time the same person views the website?
Also, are you able to embed this popup using shortcode as it would be good to have it as display statically on the home page?

http://demo.magnigenie.com/mailchimp-discount/It is already based on cookie but regarding the cookie duration, currently its not possible to define a time for the cookie from the admin. However we are working on an update where you would be able to define a time for the cookie and it also has shortcode which will allow you to put the form on any page/post/widget etc.
OK great you are correct it is responsive. I will keep an eye out and when you guys implement the shortocde and cookie feature ill be sure to buy.

Hi,
The style can easily be achieved with slight change on the code and regarding the top text the parameter is top_text not texttop_text_top. If you simply change that then it would work.
If you can create a temp login for us on your site then send it to info@magnigenie.com and we can easily change the look as per your needs.

Hi, We have already tested it multiple times and it works perfectly for us. You have mentioned that coupon email notification doesn’t work using the shortcode, then does it work when you do it with the popup?

Also just tested the shortcode form on your website and it works perfectly but the coupon mail lands on the spam from your server.

I have it setup and its working great.
However, in Internet Explorer (i’m using ie11) the popup window will not close.
It may be my other plugins or theme causing this, I’m going to look into it.

Yes, Did you update to the latest version of the plugin ? We have checked and fixed the issues.
Alright I have updated and it working.
As a side note, after updating, I had to go into the settings page and re-save my options for the cookie to work again. (in case anyone else runs into this issue).

Currently the plugin doesn’t come with shortcode but we are working on adding shortoce which you can place anywhere. Not sure about double opt in now as it would be difficult to know if the user actuall subscribed to your site. The only way to know this is using webhooks so double opt in might be added after the shortcode functionality.

Im not using mailchimp though. Does it work with other newsletters? Would be great for example the emails was saved in woocomerce or something similar. Then i could export the emails to my newsletter.

Im using getanewsletter.com. What I meant is if the emails that signs up gets saved in woocommerce so I just can export it later on to getanewsletter. Like a csv file etc.

Yes, you can set anything for discount. The coupons works exactly same as woocommerce coupons so you can configure lots of things and check the admin section screenshot to have more information.
