Hi, we do provide support for extended license customers – in such case your theme author can manage support on their side and contact us in case he/she runs into difficulties.

Do you receive any errors in browser console? Maybe you theme author has extended VC with his custom params. Also check if you have any add-ons for VC developed by 3rd party – if so, check if they have been updated to be compatible with VC 4.4.2. I would definitely recommend to contact theme author so he/she can take a look.

Hi, in default version of Visual Composer there is no parallax effect option, we are working on it and introduce it in next version. As for your case – it seems parallax was added either VC add-on developed by 3rd party or your WP theme author. I would recommend to talk to theme author or add-on author on how to solve the issue.

Hi, once you add post grid you have option to choose Data Source and there should be pages listed. If for some reason they are not listed check if you have any errors in browser console and make sure to use latest version of VC. Otherwise please apply for support at support.wpbakery.com and share your site credentials. If you received VC within a theme then you should ask your theme author to assist you and in case he is not able to help he can open support ticket at our system for you.

Also, How can I remove the image completely to just display the excerpts with a read more link? Tried customizing the layout but that didn’t have any settings.

Hi, currently there is no option to control image size in post grid – it takes as much space as available according to width and height. We are aware of demand and are looking into option to introduce size controls. As for leaving just text and button without image you should build unique template for grid by using Grid Builder available in VC. Hi, yes you can use one of grid elements with predefined templates to create such layout. If for some reason predefined templates does not fit your need you can use Advanced Grid Builder to create your own grid element template. Hi, if this theme is developed according to WordPress codex then there should be no problems. All new theme on ThemeForest are developed according to codex, but to ensure I would recommend to talk to theme author to be 100% sure. Make sure they define content part in their theme. But I am sure there should be no problems.

Hi, thanks for kind words. As for your question – you can edit existing predefined grid templates. Once you choose default – choose edit and it will create a copy of this template. There you can just delete button and save template as you wish (ex. My New SuperTemplate) After that it will appear under template list for grid elements. Hi, it seems you are trying to insert php code there which is not allowed by VC for security reasons. In order to add PHP you should add it directly to files not through Visual Composer.

Hi, we are registering fontawesome with wp_register_style( ‘font-awesome’..... so to disable/remove use wp_unregister_style( ‘font-awesome’) or wp_dequeue_style( ‘font-awesome’)

One more question, i saw that one other author had issue but i didnt see it resolved. I am using “get_terms” to retrieve taxonomies, but i am not getting custom taxonomies returned, just category ones. Is there some snippet for it:

   $get_terms = get_terms('portfolio-category', array(
      'hide_empty' => false
   ));

   $portfolio_categories = array();

   foreach($get_terms as $term) 
      {
      $portfolio_categories[$term->name] = $term->term_id;
      }

and then in vc_map(array( which is checkbox:

 "value" => $portfolio_categories,

should list taxonomies, but getting empty array. Its working on any other page.

Hi, first – Visual Composer settings are located under Settings/Visual Composer. But when you create a page with VC you should just add new page then there will be option to switch to Backend or Frontend editor of VC.

As for your error – we are aware of it – it looks like get triggered by some plugin which disables shortcodes of VC. Try to disable all other plugins and see if VC works properly. If yes, activate them one by one to determine which one cause conflict. Also make sure to use latest VC version available.
