I bought the patti theme which included the visual composer. how do i update just the visual composer as the theme update includes an older version.thanks.
Hi, if you received VC within a theme there is no option to get direct update. In order for you to update there are 2 options: 1) ask your theme author to update VC on their side and push it to you 2) or consider purchasing direct license for Visual Composer.

I updated to 4.4.2 and I am now getting the error “Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_strtolower() in /chroot/home/do-not-delete/tr_rugs/tr_rugsale_new/how-to/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/helpers/helpers.php on line 1064”

Hi, this is related to WP 4.1 and outdated version of Visual Composer, because older versions released before WP 4.1 are not compatible with it. Please make sure to update your VC version. As you received Visual Composer within a theme there is no option to get direct updates. Hi, we have not tested Visual Composer with those plugins. Nevertheless if they are using custom post types which are created according to WordPress codex there should be no problems. I would also recommend to talk to plugin authors and see if they have additional information on this one.

Hi, image carousel is a bit outdated and I would recommend to use new post or media grid to create similar layout. These elements are available starting from version 4.4.0 so please make sure to update your VC to get them. I tried to download this plugin as js_composer in wordpress and everytime i do so it logs me outta wordpress and I have to call hosting company to help get me back in to delete to plugin.
If I buy this product new from here will I have same issues if so what should I do?

Hey there! thanks for your brilliant plugin, I have to say it is one of the best things out there and you sure can be proud of it! One thing though, which I can not really stop being ambiguous about is the strange but fairly widespread mentality of coders to have their work make advertising on different websites in terms of Meta tags!
I am a great fan of slim sites and therefore I rather do not fancy to have my server go through more php to display less. So PLEASE, COULD YOU PLEASE add a check box, if anyone wants to display your META TAG, they should. But I do not want to add

Why now Visual Composer seem hva lot of problems? Hmmm ….
Hi, there are few problems we are working on, but all critical things are already solved. Most of the problems are related to 3rd party add-ons or some theme issues which are being solved by theme authors and/or add-on authors.

Hello,
Upon upgrading to the latest 4.4.2 it seems like Single Images are no longer responsive? It outputs images with fixed width and height rather than %. So now if my MEDIUM images, for example, are wider than a 1/4 column, they overlap with the next column.
Please advise.

Hi, I use this awesome plugin with (version 4.4.1.) Willow theme (Solopine) and I want to change raw font color to have the same color of all elements on this raw. But I don’t find where change the font color on raw settings. How can I do ? Thanks
Hi, there is no option to change all font color in specific row at one place. You should go into element param window and change fonts there or you can apply extra class name and then refer to it in Custom CSS.

Hi im trying to use the “image hover” block and have set an animation and tried putting in 900 and 900ms in the transition delay….how does the transition value work?
Hi, it seems you are referring to some custom element of VC added by theme author or 3rd party add-on, because there is no such image hover element in default version of VC. Please contact your theme author or add-on author for assistance as he should have more information about his custom solution.

Does the activation key only matter for updating the plugin? Or does it disable features?
I want to install it on a web site and on my local machine for development work of that web site.
Hi, for each installation of Visual Composer you require license key. So if you want to run VC on two different places you will need 2 licenses.

Hi, do you receive any errors in browser console? Please make sure you are using latest VC version and also try to deactivate all other plugins and see if it solves the issue. If yes, activate other plugins one by one to determine which one causes conflict. layout wanted ( full width background image/color) > |-----| but what it does is | ---- | (background image/colour stays within a confined width but doesn't go fullwidth of browser).I’ll buy this if we can build fullwidth layouts with the combination of “kallyas”

I’ve seen my friend tried this with kallyas wordpress theme..And I need this builder for the same kallyas theme. But it doesn’t put a chosen row in full width but it keeps contained to some confined width…. Does the theme we are buying needs to support this builder?? or in other words..should the theme makers build their themes to support this.. else we wont be able to build websites with the full width elements with background image/color??
Hi, full width option with stretching row should work on themes which do not use overflow: hidden. If they use it, then it could be the problem. I would recommend to talk to theme author regarding this issue as he should be able to provide more information on his theme structure.
