just downloaded it and it does not work. I open the index file (unmodified) in chrome and it’s a blank page

Why is the Canada map no longer available?

Just downloaded this plugin and it is working great. One question though, is there a way to create regions? For example, grouping 10 or so states into one clickable region for Southwest region? Please advise, thanks!

Also, can I add an image and text to the pop up that occurs over state hovers?

Can the border color be changed? It looks black in the example. I would like the border to be white and the background that the map is on to be white and be able to change color of each state. Is that possible?

FEATURE REQUEST: Upon click of a state, can the imagery in the view port dynamically zoom in, to focus the viewable image area to only that one state—the bordering states can be included in the view port, but perhaps grayed out.

Thanks for considering whether this could fit into a future release.

I just purchased this, mainly for the US Simple Version of the map. It doesn’t look like there are files included for the US Simple Version, only the Advanced one. Am I missing something? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I’m on deadline and need to get the map working so when you click on a state it links to an external url.

Hi. This map script seems to fit my needs closely, but I noticed one problem. On mobile devices (and possibly all touch screen devices) the touch/click event for the states are overly sensitive.

With the demo, just dragging the map on a mobile screen will result in a “click” which redirects the user to the url. Going back to the previous page shows a highlighted “active” state that happened to be touched during the drag event. This disrupts other touch events too, such as pinch and zoom.

It seems as though (at least the demo) is using a “ontouch” event instead of “onclick” which is problematic.I think this behavior goes against the intent of the user and “touch” should be ignored.
