I have this shortcode: [userpro template=register register_redirect=http://wildernessexplorers.info/sales/postreg]

however after submitting registration, user is not sent to that URL. They are getting redirected to the main landing page for non-logged-in-users.

The “postreg’ page ID is specified as available to non-logged in users.

The same thing happens regardless of whether the Registration settings in UserPro are set to “Redirect to FrontEnd Profile” or “refresh the page.

Confused – the page here on CodeCanyon says that support is supplied through the author’s website, but at the author’s website it says:

” if you don’t find a solution (here in the forum), the best way to get prompt support is to raise a ticket via CodeCanyon”

SO – which is it?

Hi, I’m thinking about buying your main product along with several of the addons. You have practically everything I was hoping to implement on my site, your products look fantastic. I just have two questions.

Would I be able to restrict downloads of my ebooks (it’s an ebooks site, so there’s a lot of them) to people who are not logged in? I want them to be able to browse, just not have the download link working.

Secondly, would I be able to offer things for sale, such as zipped packages of ebooks?

I am trying to use the author.php file so i can see all posts for my authors, but it keeps redirecting to the /profile page.

I see that there is WooCommerce integration. Does that integrate with the login? For example, once I’ve logged in as a user, am I logged into the shopping cart as well? Or does that require a separate user/pass?

Also, can I purchase membership via WooCommerce?

I’m really confused about the [userpro template=postsbyuser] short code. When I create a new page this works. It also works when I use specific usernames. The problem I have is how to link to this?

In the example it links automatically to this page under the post. For example on this page: http://pluto.pinsupreme.com/masonry-with-avatar/, when you click on John Bos, it takes you directly to his author page: http://pluto.pinsupreme.com/author/uej2h6uaxypdpqevxngzcnz7vj/, but now that i have this installed. It automatically takes me to the profile page.

Is there any way to give the header and/or page title a new title? Now on any user profile page, it says “My Profile” on every single Page. Why isn’t the username in the Title? I want the username in the Title instead of ”My Profile” like in BuddyPress. I believe this should be common sense function?

Since the flag (badge) didn’t show anymore, I checked my debug.log and found there was this message:
PHP Notice: iconv() [<a href="function.iconv">function.iconv</a>]: Wrong charset, conversion from `utf-8' to `ascii//TRANSLIT//IGNORE' is not allowed in ../wp-content/plugins/userpro/functions/badge-functions.php on line 131.
I replaced this line 131 (120 also) with
$country_meta = remove_accents($country_meta);
et voila, the notice has gone and the flag shows up agian. It seems remove_accents is the proper WP-way to get rid of accents. Only problem seems to be it’s a LOT slower… Any speeding-up suggestions? Or how to solve the iconv-problem?

I’m getting back to you because of a new problem I’m facing with Userpro (which remains a great plugin however). When trying to user the default fronted publisher shortcode, I get the following message :

Error in jQuery.ajax while submitting a form:SyntaxError: JSON Parse error: Unrecognized token ’<’

In the backend I can see that the post is created, the featured image isn’t. I tried to deactivate every plugins one by one (Im running a multisite install so I did that à the subsite and at the admin level). I also tried to switch the theme to wordpress default twenty fourteen one. I finally updated to the usurper’s last version. I got no results… do you have an idea about how to solve this? thank you in advance,
