Create search filter inside any text-area field, like “Search for a user..” on Template=memberlist. e.g. [userpro template=memberlist search_bio=”Description contains:,input”] must search any word within Biography field. 3. Is there any way to set up Achievement by manual? For example, the badge is allocated automatically to the user who was joined our site after 1 year or by the amount of cubepoint.
MULTILINGUAL USERS, BEWARE.. If you need this for languages others than English, a few are somewhat translated in .mo .po files except all the field names are not translated: all these missing translations like “Billing Name” and basically all the fields a user would see on their account page etc are still in English.
However it is very hard to get support to understand how to do it, the missing translations are not even seen as strings to be translated in WPML.. so at this point I am confused and not happy with support who gave me rather cryptic answers up to now.
Once a few weeks back when inquiring about this they told me “We have planned it up for the version 2.9. It would be released in the Version 2.9” and now they tell me I need to translate those fields in the back-end.. except of course if I do i, it simply replaces the English text to whatever I replace it with in the back-end and becomes the new text seen in all languages.. useless.
So I have no idea what they meant by “We have planned it up for the version 2.9. It would be released in the Version 2.9” I even asked them to clarify what they meant by “planned IT” they never answered. It’s like I’m talking to aliens from another planet.
Also when you search for keywords like: translation, localisation, localization, WPML, language.. on their site.. you get: Nothing Found.
In the manual the only thing related to this is: xxxii. “Translate forms in a specific language
You have to translate the forms (login, register ect in your wordpress backend). Visit your dashboard and go to UserPro -> UserPro tab.
There you will found all available forms. Just push the little “plus” or “gear” and you can translate this forms into your language.”
But what it does not talk about is how to translate for several languages.. because when I do it, as I wrote above, it only crunches the text and replaces with whatever I enter.. and then that text is the same in all the languages when visiting the site.
So either I am missing something or the plugin is missing something..
Thank you for the almost non-existent support. The few answers I got were completely off-base and or cryptic. Very interesting plugin, very bad support..
Finally got my answer in the forum which confirms labels for form fields cannot be multilingual (they can be changed, sure, but the change will then apply to all languages as they can only exist in one version.. useless).
“The labels are fetched from the database, when we initially change the labels they get saved in the database and it cannot be changed dynamically in a multilingual platform.”
PS: I asked them why they don’t use the .mo .po files for these elements as it would allow multilingual support.. if they fix this in the future the plugin could be useful, otherwise not.

We would like to use your plugin however we don’t need certain features of the plugin. Our Buddypress theme kleo is handling the Social Profile pages so we wouldn’t need UserPro to create a separate User Profile Page.
So, that brings me to my question. Is it possible to turn off, or not use, certain features of UserPro for integration purposes?

The Userpro is very much customizable. So you can update the code to do so. But it depends on your experience with php.

If the answer is no, then do you have any plans on making the plugin modular? Also, do you provide any plugin customization services for alteration and integration? All the best…

Heya, is it possible to change the data within ‘div.userpro-awsm-meta’ when looking at user profile cards. At the moment it show’s the users gender. I would like to use a different field instead of Gender.

To do that you have to change the memberlist_v2.php file. Check for the required div.
Is there possible to lock down registration with a special code? I just purchase this plug-in. And I need to build an membership site that only allow members from other membership site to signup. The signup is not open to public. So when user click signup button, I want to ask them to input a special code before they can signup. Or if they are redirect from a certain URL – so I can create a button with this special URL to embed on the other membership site member portal. Can this plug-in do that. If not, what is the solution? Thanks!
You can disable registrations on a site (Check in Userpro -> Settings -> General) – but locking down registration until specific code is entered is somewhat which is not possible directly. This will need to do quite a few code changes.
So like Gravity Form, I can create a filed and its validation. Unless the input value is equal to the value I set, the validation will fail and user can not submit the form. Is there a way to create a filed like that so I can set validation? Or if I disable registrations in UserPro, can I still use Gravity Form to registrar users? (assuming it only turn off the UserPro registrations not the Wordpress site registrations…). I also has buddypress installed on my site.

1. Yes – with Userpro you can create multiple registration forms for different roles.
2. Yes, this is possible.
3. I don’t see any reason why it will not work with other themes. Regarding payments, refunds its handled by Envato.
Does the plugin only can be integrated with buddypress and bb press ? There is not another forum compatibility ? Simple press or something else forum plugin doesn’t work ?
Userpro has provided facility so that Userpro profile can snyc with buddypress. It has “short and easy API functions/hooks” which you can use to integrate with other plugins. Just it will need some custom coding to achieve this

at my website i need a plugin that manage as a membership plataform. Each user can buy multiple subscriptions, and each subscription is relative to a single article category.
For example: i have a lot of category of news (tech, people, lifestyle, food, etc). and i want to see just tech and food, and i pay per each category i want. Another user just want to see people news, so that user just pay per this category… etc etc

Userpro can be used to register and login, have own profile page but it cant be used as a membership plugin as you described.
Love the addon, just a feature request, I run a gaming website and wondered if you were planning on integrating Steam as a social network option with there 75 million users base it would be a no brainier. My users would love to login with there steam account ect.

But for facebook login, instead of refreshing the page, it redirected to profile page.
How can I refresh or redirect back to the current page instead?
