Just updated main eventON and eventON daily view to the latest version. Still having to do it via ftp rather than via WP.
Anyway since the update my EventON Maps has become inconsistant!
Not loading maps in some months even though there are events on that month. And also not picking up events on some months in certain categories. For example I have a map that is just for one type of event, it’s picking up the september events but nothing in the months after this, event though there are events loaded. Strangely it’s picking up all the events in all months when a category is NOT specified.
Also any plans to add pagination to the EventON Maps? Would be nice when i have 20 plus events in a month that the user didn’t have to scroll down down and down…also just makes the page look bad.

I appreciate that you’re a busy bod, and by looking at the comments that you’ve got your hands full with issues from the latest update. arghhh sorry dude but now another issue on top of the above one. I tried deactivating/reactivating EventON plug in to see if that would make a difference and now can’t get into front or backend if the plugin is uploaded

Hi Ashan. Really struggling here..still getting he same errors and can’t even get in to the WP plugin bage to activate EventON even after ftping latest version of plugin.
it should work dude, helped several ppl and just ftp overriding eventon and all addon files worked like a charm
okay, deleted everything off via ftp, uploaded 2.19 then the latest version add ons (MAp, single event), everything activated and now back in which is an improvement. So thanks for that.
However the following issues persist:
1. Click on Map icon and drop down doesn’t appear – no event information in drop down below map.
2. my EventON short code is not picking up specific event categories.
For example map based on this code picks up all events and not just ‘45’

can i send me link to where your map is. Also try that event types with normal calendar and see if that works.

NEW ISSUE SINCE EVENTON UPDATE 4. Single page event – now the single event page including side bar is squashed into half a page and not 100% width as before

There are maps! and there are events loaded on them. September map doesn’t load for some reason I guess because the events start from October.
if you dont have any events for september then it will not show any. I will have this fix for next update.
Okay I understand Ashan. However the problems as detailed above still persist and are evident in the subsequent months on all of the map instances. I relay need these issues sorted as they are stopping me move forward.

Hi Ashan…appreciate that you are working on the above and will provide update soon. Noticed a couple of other things though.
1. That the current month on the MAP is blank, no map loads and there are no events. I was getting this when it was September but put it down to not having any events. Now we’ve switched over to October i get the same result for this month…blank, no map, no events. There are lots of event’s loaded in october however. Please not this is in addition to the reported issues.

you should be able to pick a color from event edit page on right side pane color picker, if the color picker does not open when you click on color circle on the event edit page that means u have some javascript error on that page stopping it. http://www.myeventon.com/documentation/check-eventon-working/

hey there I just bought the add-on for tickets. So I had to install Woocommerce as well. Working on a testpage for now on my high-end server (managed reseller – really good). But after installing and activation I get an fatal error when trying to edit an existing event: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 52428800 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 311296 bytes) in /..../wp-content/plugins/eventON/admin/post_types/ajde_events_meta_boxes.php on line 522
my memory ist 100MB to this – should be enough for scripts

I was testing using a previous site but have now removed the plugin from that site and added to a new site – when I try to activate it tells me the license is activated on another site so I presume it is still listed in your DB with the old domain name.

Make sure you are running eventon 2.2.17
1. I did use the shortcode generator but there is no option in there called FullCal.
2. I search here and found the shortcode [add_eventon_fc] so it shows up full calendar but acting weird. There are months we have many events, it colored them yellow but once click on it, it shows “no event”. I am using wp 3.9.2 and multisite
3. Okay so I have to order the maps addon to show only the infowindow? No Direction?

hey so if you have fullCal installed it should show as option in the shortcode generator.
perhaps its not installed correct cus it should show events. Send me a link so i can check this myself
and for get directions go myeventon > settings> Event card and u can activate this

Hi there. Sorry sorry to disturb you about this again. When I update via the ftp I still get the same problem. I think there must be an issue with the code on my side because it breaks the entire wordpress front and backend.

Everything else seems to work though. I removed the entire plugin and uploaded it through FTP again, but that doesn’t solve the issue. Can you look into it?

I have activated the custom metadata fields and got the Action User Plugin. Problem is, although I have activated “multiple lines of text” in the metadata section, the front end submission only displays a single line field.
Anyway to change the front end submission to a multi line text field?

There’s an issue related to running your plugin on sites protected via SSL. Or perhaps I cannot find an option that enables SSL use of your plugin.
I’m getting a mixed content warning and it’s because on line 373 of eventon.php it’s loading google fonts over http. If I hack that line it works fine but that’s not a good solution.
Should have an enable SSL toggle checkbox and then load all assets via SSL.

I have installed this plugin and entered an event. The event shows using the shortcode but I cant click on the event to view the details. When I view the post after editing it doesnt show any of the custom information ie start date/time. I have disabled plugins to see if there was an issue there but nothing helped. I am using the Enfold theme from themeforest. The theme does come with a multitude of useful shortcodes that can be used inside a text editor. However, I can’t get any of them to work in the text area (event description) of the event card which is a shame. Ideally I would like to at least put some images in there that can be opened in a lightbox.
Any ideas on how to implement this (for a non coder:-)

the event description area should be able to accept any shortcodes. Go to myevenotn> settings> and see if disable content filter is turned on if so turn it off and that should solve this

With Enfold you have a shortcode generator in the text toolbar (just above the text entry area) There are a number of different shortcodes such as galleries, sliders, dividers, icon boxes etc. However, on a normal page (not an eventon add event page) they work fine and as they should but when trying to use the shortcodes within the text area of an event on add event the vast majority will not work. I don’t really need anything fancy from the shortcodes but some styling and also image galleries would be useful. I have spoken to the developers of the Enfold theme and they can’t really help because the add event page is not a standard page or post.

i do not know what to say that text field for event details is properly output on calendar front-end. You may try debugging http://www.myeventon.com/documentation/change-css-calendar/ #3.0 and see if that find any issues
Here is what the developers of the Enfold theme have advised
“The problem is that those shortcodes (galleries and related) make use of client side JavaScript that gets executed when the page loads (js/shortcodes.js), on the contrary this events content gets called by the user so it gets fired at an undetermined point, that’s why they don’t work.”
So, I guess the use of shortcodes within the text area of the event card will not work – it’s no biggy but would be nice:-)

i see yea i guess may be the shortcodes inside that would have to be called after eventon shortcode is called. Anyways now we know and I dont know if there is anything i can do from my end for the matter that javascripts after called later

I am using the latest version of eventon and have a couple of issues with images.
Firstly, I cannot get the featured image to show in the event card list. I did see a fix back in June but presume this fix was already added in the latest version so I don’t want to apply an old fix.
Second, when I add a featured image and a location image the location image will not display, just a blank area in the event details where it should be. When I remove the ‘featured’ image the event location image shows up again.

i assume you have the fullCal addon if so please try this http://www.myeventon.com/documentation/adding-calendar-to-site/ using shortcode generator you should see new fullCal as option to create a shortcode

Hello, If I change any setting of myEventON, the displaying of the calendar doesn’t work properly as if ajax function doesn’t work anymore, all the months are displayed on each other and there are no more arrows. This happens even if I do not change any settings and I save changes! can you help?

We’re using Eventon with the Action User plugin. Question is: what option do we need / how do we configure that the users can not only SUBMIT their events, but also MODIFY them (and re-submit them as draft for example).
at the moment only option is to give them contributor role and then give them wp-admin access to edit the event they created
