hello i have a problem with visual composer en wp-admin.
when i move (drag and drop) and element, its not working. i get an JS error with

it´s not happen always. it´s happen sometimes editing the same page.

Hi, please open support ticket at support.wpbakery,com – provide link to page where we can check it and also site credentials so we can access your admin. Also please try to describe how to replicate it. This for sure is not a common issue.

Hi, if I understood you right. You should use relative URL, not absolute. So you have to change it manually through db. If you changed and it did not take effect, please open support ticket at support.wpbakery.com and provide us with access details so we can take a look.

If you use relative URL there is no need to change them after site migration. If you use absolute URL it should not be changed automatically, as ilinks may lead to external resources.
Offers Visual Composer a solution to this common WordPress problem that html entities get lost sometimes (like line breaks and blank lines) for example when switching between editor views? If it does not, is there the possibility to use Visual Composer in combination with the plugin TinyMCE-Advanced to solve this problem? Would be great to know.

Hi, we have not tested VC with TinyMCE-Advanced, will add it to our Backlog. Actually we are thinking in making VC compatible not only with TinyMCE but also other editors, but this is in Backlog currently and we are still looking for best solution.

Hi, content area width is defined by your WP theme. Once your theme allows adding content in full width – Visual Composer will take all available space.
Nevertheless it’s been a question for some time and we are thinking about proper workaround for this one, but it will take some time, so please follow our updates.

how do you remove all of the white spacing in between rows of elements because when i go to the settings of each element the diagrams that show the padding information the fields show a ” – ” so i assume that means that there isn’t any padding going on so if you can help me that would be great!
Hi, the sign ”-” means that default settings of your WP theme is in use. So if you change it to 0, there will be 0. Or you can also define in your theme settings spacings to affect them from one place.

How do you place a background behind all of the elements of your page?
Hi, you can place background for Row – choose edit row and go to Design Options tab. There you will have control over background. Then you can insert elements within this row as you wish.
But if you are talking about whole page, including header and footer. Then you should look into your WP theme setttings.

Hi, yes, you can use it with themes that has their own builders, just do not use both builders at once – this will cause error for sure. So you will have to use just Visual Composer.
And yes, you can use Visual Composer with any WP theme as long as it is developed according to WordPress codex.

Hi, please check your version of VC that came with jupiter and compare it to 7 or our(currently 4.3.3) It may be so that version is outdated and this may cause some error in case all other software is up to date(like latest WordPress). If your version is outdated you should ask your theme author to update it for you.

After the latest update I have a problem – 1. There is no Visual text editor view anymore – just the HTML view 2. After editing existing text block and saving – it copies a lot of other content from the same page all around the block. Can’t fix this on my own.

Is there any way I could get a “sampledata” package from you guys for the VC? It’s really annoying to have to build the content for the theme and make sure not to miss any of the elements. This would be a great addition for devs (sorry if it already exists but I haven’t found it).

I’m not speaking about a sample data to offer to the clients, I’m speaking about something similar to the “Theme Unit Test” which would allow devs to easily have a page with everything the V.C. knows to create and style everything to match their own themes perfectly.

Ok, will think about that, but can not promise anything at the moment, because we are updating elements and options, so it is another thing to maintain regularly.
As for signature – this is just html code with images hosted on another site. Check the source of message to see it.

Hey have you ever dealt with Twitter cards before? I got short codes showing up on Twitter for our pages! A lot of big sites and companies use twitter cards.

Well most pages work fine it seems with the Twitter summary card. However one page we have is showing shortcodes in the twitter card which is very EMBARASSING lol. It is suppose to pull our meta descriptors which it does but on one page it pulled visual composer shortcodes so anyone who tweets that page will see shortcodes in the card.
Within this page you insert meta description manually? If it has been done by plugin automatically, please check if this plugin excludes shortcodes.
