but I don’t understand your note in step 5 : NOTE: if you do not see this content php code in the template file look for get_template_part() in this case you will need to open the template part file and copy that content and paste it instead of this.
wich content do i have to copy and where do i have to paste it?

looks like 2 dif templates are loaded based on post layout. So you need to open single_fullwidth.php file and single_right_sidebar file and follow rest of instructions

I have used this plugin for this site(http://cupitt.com.au/).Where in admin I am getting following notifications : 1. EventON EventLists is enabled but not effective. It requires EventON in order to work. 2. EventON SingleEvent is enabled but not effective. It requires EventON in order to work.
I have purchased all required add-ons but still it’s not working.
There is a “events” page where I have used the following code to show all events :
[add_eventon_list show_et_ft_img=”yes” etc_override=”yes” exp_so=”yes” number_of_months=”9” event_count=”10” hide_past=”yes” show_year=”yes” accord=”yes” ]
but no one is going to respective event single page.
But the plugin is working fine in my staging server. There is no notifications no single page issues for respective page is happening.
In the plugin setting page of my site in staging server there is “Single Events” tab is present but it is not in the admin of live version. May be for this reason the single-event pages are not working.
So if you please give me a solution it would be great for me.

can csv event importer and action user use together? that means user can submit event via csv file import?

But EventON is installed, both are latest versions…. HELP PLEASE.
I was getting this with event list add on as well but after I deactivated and reactivated the licenses for both addons—the event list error went away. BUT this one remains.

When users checkout on the mobile. (iphone) the checkout dropdown is hidden behind the social sharing icons so people cant checkout on a mobile. Check out www.gtex.org.uk for an example

Hi Ashjay, the issues was different im going to activate the addons plugins and got the error :
Fatal error: Class ‘evo_addons’ not found in /home/bricksmedia/public_html/longcliffegolf/wp-content/plugins/eventon-event-lists-backk-old/eventon-event-lists.php on line 332
please look at tell me the solution how to fix that.

Have sent you an e-mail through your profile a couple of days ago but still haven’t received a reply. Basically, I have an issue with activating 4 EventOn add-ons that I purchased with EventOn plugin. I am developing a few sites locally in Multisite mode, I managed to activate EventOn plugin on the main site, but unable to do the same with other 4 add-ons. They are installed and activated as plugins but in the EventOn Add-ons and Licenses section it doesn’t give an option to activate those plugins, only “GET IT NOW” and “LEARN MORE” buttons are there when I already purchased, installed and activated them. Your timely help would be much appreciated as I am unable to proceed with development until this issue is resolved.

1. What is the translation term for LOCATION in the RSVP confirmation email? I couldn’t find it in the ‘RSVP Email’ translation section.
2. I couldn’t deactivate both ‘maybe’ and ‘no’ in the same time in RSVP status, I only could deactivate one or another in the same time. If I choose to deactivate both then after save, they will both be active.
3. In the RSVP notification mail, I couldn’t get the Additional Field #1, as it will become ‘Phone:-’ even I typed in the phone number.

I am using the EventOn plugin and love its look and feel. However, I have a question.
I added some events by mistake with the wrong user. To make things worse, it has been the admin (forgot to switch after maintenance work, my mistake). Unlike WP’s posts or pages, I cannot find an option to re-assign events to other editors.
Is it possible to change the author of an event? If not, what happens if such author is deleted? Will the events published under his name become deleted or automatically re-assigned to other editors?

You could always delete the event and recreate it. would be the easiest way to do this. I will add this option in next update

I think the possibility to re-assign authors will be helpful. I did the suggested workaround but had to temporarily promote my editor to admin level to access EventOn’s events. For security reasons and overall ease of workflow, another suggestion is to open the event editor to roles or at least one trustworthy editor you can define from the settings.
Another problem with the Widget came to my attention: When I activate category 1 in the EventTop settings, the information shows up in the frontend only within pages, not the widget on the sidebar.
I tried [add_eventon_list] and [add_eventon] with the eventOn Shortcode Generator widget and the eventOn Calendar widget with same result.
I would highly appreciate if you could have a look on it. Thanks again!
yes widget sidebar have that hidden because of the limited amount of space present on sidebar.

1. Quick question. How can I get single events to display open on page. Basically everything is displayed without having to click to open. I see an option for EventOn events but not single events.
I also have 4 suggestions that would help make this already awesome plugin even more awesome in my opinion.
1. layout options. A Grid layout would be just awesome.
2. Displaying event price.
3. Simplified event buttons similar to this ( http://iplusstd.com/item/eventBookingPro/example/button-examples/) with simalar simplified book now button function popup. This would allow a user to simply add book now button without having to display redundant information that’s already inside post.
4. An inquiry button so a user could inquire about such events Before purchasing a ticket. Or maybe it’s a pay later event were user would pay at the door And they need some more info. The inquiry could populate all necessary info and forwards to selected email.

I’ve been having a weird issue. If I place any other text or shortcode above any eventon single event addon shortcode it does not display.
Not sure what the issue is, Dont think it’s plugin conflict since it works if other text or shortcodes are placed below the single event addon shortcode. We also use foodpress plugin and same issue occurs.
I need to be able to accomplish this since we do use other shortcodes and text in our post.

Yes it working now thanks. I also found a fix for around disappearing shortcode.
what was the fix?
I just create a custom text field that allowed me to the place my content after the eventon shortcode in the editor, then i called the content before it in the php file.

More, the event’s lenght now overlay the event’s title… (tutto il giorno = all day)
While on fullcal http://ateliersi.it/si/calendario/ a dot now appears in the middle of day with events.

looks to me like your theme styles are overriding plugin styles is the big problem here. you can try this and see if you can fix it http://www.myeventon.com/documentation/change-css-calendar/
Thank you Ashan: override solved! Having a toggle on/off for the new feature seems to me worthfull, as purchasing an addon styled in a particular fashion. In any case seems that the conflict is acting only on dailyview (homepage)... any suggestion to fix it? Best, D
same solution you will have to add seperate styles to fix the overridden styles that are there either from this style plugin or theme.
I think there is a conflict between eventon and jetpack share… the share button does not show up on pages where i have loaded evenon….
Any suggestions?

http://cycle.lk/clubs-groups/pedal-pushers-cyclists/This has event loaded but there are not events to show, so the share button is working…
You can check the some other pages to see where the share button works..
i think it has something to do with showing the event…

Hi. I purchased and installed the Eventon Tickets Addon. I have the last version of woocommerce already. After the installation I get the following message displayed everywhere on my Dashboard :

go into your ftp and wp-content/plugins and make sure you have a folder named ‘woocommerce’

Is there an email i can get to send over screenshots ect..
Basically i believe a theme and the eventon plugin are causing issues. On the New Post/Page next to the ‘Add Media’ button there is the ‘add eventon’ button.. I need to remove this button.
Not sure what the issue is but when adding a new post the page freezes and becomes unresponsive. However when disabling the eventon plugin it is fine.
I need advise on how to delete the ‘Add Eventon’ button which is situated next to the add media button in wordpress backend.

i have a question about the ticket add-on. Do the customers get printable e-tickets? How do we scan them or what kind of way are we using the tickets. Event bright uses e-tickets and an app to scan them at the door.

HI, so at the moment customers get email with ticket number which you can check in wp-admin page for the event. I am working on a better system for checking in customer.
Oké it would be great if u develop something that makes a QR code in the ticket email and a way to scan with your phone.
