I’ve looked in the manual but don’t see this—is there a way to make it send an email to admins when someone requests verification?
What does verification do—is there any online help that explains how to use that?

Yes – email can be send to admin when user is registereded. You can turn the setting on by following these steps -
1. Go to your admin are
2. Click on usrpro tab
3. Choose Email Notification->Email Notifications
4. Set the options “Send an e-mail when user is verified” to yes
With this option set – once user is registered admin will see the the request in verification tab and he can verify or reject the user.
I was wondering more about the Request Verification button on the profile. I tested it and it did not alert me as an admin. And non-verified members seem just like verified ones so I’m just wondering what the difference is. Any way i can make non-verified not show up in the directory?
i found the shortcode instructions so i’m ok now.
As a request I need to be able to hide the “Create Account” button from the login since we use PM Pro for that.

Look and fill of the page depends on your theme. That may be a reason its looking different.
To activate the post made by user please use the short code [userpro template=postsbyuser]. For more details refer below url http://userproplugin.com/userpro/docs/No updates in over two months when they used to be every few days/or a week.

+1 to the recoding the IP address in new registrations.
Along with that I would suggest a quick location overview with the IP?
Example: Country, State/Province, City (just to make looking at an IP address quickly understandable).
Thought the IP address would definitely come in handy for when you have problems with a user and want too ban/block them from the site.

Unfortunately as of now plugin does not have this feature so it would need fair amount of customization. If you would like us to do this change for you, please drop a note on our contact email.

I can upload a picture without any problem. Once the pictures gets uploaded I don’t get to see a preview? All I see is an “broken image” But once I click on ‘Save settings’ I do get to see my profile pictures : Edit profile and view profile. But it doesn’t show up on the right corner of admin bar nor does it show on all the posts/all over my website?

The userpro plugin uses the existing WordPress user framework. There is no separate user system.

I have found where to put my API details for MailCHimp. Yet when I try with dummy users to subscribe to newsletter they don’t get automatically added in my ‘list’ in MailChimp.
I know what my List ID is but I don’t know where to put in my userpro settings/ field settings.

Copied the extract for your use – Make sure you have latest version installed.
1. Global Options > MailChimp > Enter your API key, and save settings
2. In fields customizer, drag the subscribe to newsletter field to your registration form (EDIT FIELD) and enter your mail list ID. Save

I can’t seem to get this. I’ve looked massively through the forums and documentation, etc.
How do I create a custom registration form that allows “role” selection?
When I add the “role” field the only role available to select is “Subscriber”. I want to have author, contributor, etc. available to choose.
When I create a custom field I do not see the user role meta key to sync the role choice with.
All I get is “Subscriber” role by default when adding the “role” field to registration form.

How do I get other roles to show?

Hi James, If your email notifications are enabled in the plugin this should work. Please check “Email Notifications” section in settings. Also check by changing the email id once, also check the SPAM folders. If you have already verified the settings, please send me a email with your site details using the contact form.

One additional question – does the plugin have functionality to redirect you to a protected page/link AFTER you’ve logged in?
I have several pages and events that I’m protecting with the plugin. When someone Facebook shares the url they are taken to the login screen but after logging in, they aren’t automatically redirected to that specific page.
How do i have them redirect to the protected page after logging in? Please Note This isn’t in reference to be re-directed to a SPECIFIC page. I have dozens of pages …they just need to redirect to the requested one after logging in.
