I wonder the followings before I buy it.
1. Is it possible to re-use the existing FAQ entries (I am currently using Arconix FAQ.)
2. Is it possible to list of (the limited number of) the questions in a sidebar widget (using a shortcode)?

You can use your existing FAQ entries by adding it to FAQplus manually but there is no way to convert it directly. For your 2nd question, you can easily add FAQplus in sidebar widget using shortcode. Thanks

This would be really great to have a real TinyMce editor to edit FAQ elements, this would firslty help to build nice looking answers as well as optiizing the texts of for natural SEO (titles, strong etc etc…). Also, this could pemrit to add some medias or else shortcodes.

Really a great job on this. I’ve built my FAQ page and can’t believe how easy this is to use and all the options it has. The page looks great, works properly and was very easy to figure out. Definitely 5 stars!
Asked above about topics and saw your reply about shortcodes. Are we able to build a page with topic headers and insert the shortcodes below the appropriate ones, thereby creating a topic list (categories)? If it can work like this, I’ll happily buy.

My apologies. I just now got into this and realized how this works. So the title then is the topic/category and you place the questions under it. That’s really awesome. I think there was some misunderstanding just due to the way it was worded, but so far, it looks exactly like what I wanted and thanks so much! Best options I’ve seen and I spent hours reviewing all the FAQs plugins out there. Nice job!

Absolutely! I’d suggest adding some topic headers to the demo so people can see it can do that. I was working with an FAQ plugin that had “categories” under “Add New (FAQ).” I didn’t see it w/ this and mistook the Title box for the question. Wasn’t until I spent more time that I got it. Anyway, of all the ones I’ve researched this appears to be the best and I think adding some headers will get you more sales.
Okay, so…hmmm. I created a title called General, added the shortcode to my FAQs page but General is not showing. Shouldn’t it be?
Actually you can easily add this in page/post then add the shortcode. For many client they just title it like FAQ1 when create faq but when they place within post/page, it is “FAQ for seller”. So i didn’t add the title within FAQ itself. And for some client, they just want to show the main title of page/post, not FAQ title.

Hi. Was all ready to buy this until I realized you can’t create and separate by topics? That (to me) is a main feature of a premium FAQ plugin. Will you be adding this in the near future?
Just saw where someone else asked about this 5 months ago and you replied that it’s not possible and made no mention of adding it. Last update was 6 months ago so will assume you are not interested in adding this. I think you’re losing a lot of sales w/o this feature. Like the other guy, I have to look elsewhere.
Hi, Why you need category ? You can add FAQ group which is like category. You can create unlimited FAQ group and each group can create unlimited FAQ. And i am working to update the plugin but i am not sure why you need category.
I need to organize my FAQs by category. The demo (which I did try before) is limited in showing you how to use it. However, because it relies on shortcodes, I will assume I can create a header topic and place the FAQ group underneath. I will give it a try then and hope that works. The FAQs I have right now are fine but I need something that lets me separate them into categories. Maybe you can show people an example of how to do this and how it will look on one of your screenshots. thanks

Hi there, great plugin and simple to use!
However, when using the ‘search’ on my WP site – the individual FAQ ID (shortcode) is returned in the search results (EG: My FAQ Section). When clicking on the ‘My FAQ Section’ (within the search results) I am shown a page (url: /faq-plus/my-faq-section/) but it displays NO FAQ’s for that ID?
It only shows the ‘Author’ and ‘Date’?
How can I ensure that the actual FAQ’s are shown in this page?

May I remind that its not 48 hours but over a week since my first mail to you, and that the only time you respond is when a not positive comment is posted on Envato. By the way its not a theme error. The theme author has already investigated it (yes he does give support!). In compliance with that not a single other plugin gives errors with the theme including the WORKING ultimate shortcode plugin. It would suit you if at least you give a refund. I will post here in a week if you have done so…!
You can contact with Codecanyon for refund issue because i can’t find any error in my end. And this plugin is working fine with other themes without any error. Thanks
unfortunately this plugin makes my site crash and the author does not respond to any of my queries in this matter. I have send a mail twice and does not even awnser the mail.

I have send the info to the mail address as requested, but you have not responded tot that mail either, my site is still crashing from the plugin for about a week now and no solution what so ever still in sight. I come to a point that I have to regard this purchase a complete waist of money and de-install it and having to find a different plugin that does work and/or does include support on bugs.
I now have switched over to ultimate shortcode plugin that works flawless, I can create FAQ and lots of other stuff, the basic edition is free also. I will request Envato to do a refund as your stuff does not work and you do not give any support
Sure, go with it. And i think, you should give at least 48 hours before saying anything. About the error, its a theme error and they don’t do Page template the right way so the PHP is breaking. You should contact with your theme author. Thanks

Amazing Plugin. I have a couple questions and a suggestion.
Question: How do you format the Answer code? Do we have to bust out our old html skills? 
Suggestion: When the FAQs are listed in the Admin section, it would be AWESOME if at least part of the question was shown. When you have 20 FAQ items, its hard to know which one to edit. It would also make re-arranging the FAQs much easier so you knew what you were moving.
Again, GREAT plugin
In addition, another great feature (in my opinion) would be able to “re-use” the settings. For example, I have 7 different FAQ pages and if I decided I want to change the +/- icons, I have to do it 7 times. Again, just something that would be nice.

Do not work with cherryframe work theme from templatemonster. It could be an jquery or wherever conflict,

this is a great plugin and it’s the second site i’m using it this time i had a problem that took me some time to fix i used the FAQ shortcode inside ACF text editor and it messed up my page and nothing was shown. after some digging i managed to fix it by adding wp_reset_postdata(); to short-code-content.php

This is the best FAQ plugin I’ve ever used! Great work!
I’ve got a small plugin conflict going on with JackBox in Safari. FAQplus doesn’t complete the styling of its elements until after I click a JackBox. If you have any thoughts on this, or would like to take a closer look, please let me know.

Hi – 2 other quick questions:
a) How do I set the text color for the answers? I want both FAQs and answers to be all-black, hex #000000 . I’ve set content to that but text answers still show in default grey text. How to change?
if I can’t do that from within the plugin, how can I hard-code a hack/mod in source phps etc to show answers in black text?
b) I want to embed URLs/other html code in answers, how can I do that?

hi – when embedding in the7 theme, faq icons don’t show properly; is there a php hard-code mod i can use to show one of the icons? it looks like:

never mind, I fixed it by choosing a different icon, reloading, then resetting to original one
