Found a template issue that is slightly difficult to reproduce, nevertheless i will try to explain it to the best of my knowledge.

Some things to note:

1) I only use the frontend editor and i don’t know if this problem exists in the backend editor as i am not very comfortable using that. So please use the frontend editor to reproduce the issue.

2) Issue only comes to sight when you have some formatting done on the text block, like usage of wordpress visual editor Headings, bold text, etc.

Problem Reproduction Steps:

1) Create a new post/page using frontend editor on visual composer, for the example add a row, tabs in it and then a text block in one or both of the tabs. In the text block, format text, add headings, bold text, etc. As much as you can. Now save this page as a Visual composer template.

2) Create another post/page using the frontend editor on visual composer. Append your newly created template to this new post/page. Now save this.

3) Either refresh the frontend editor window, or preview the final result using the post/page link.

The problem:

The rich formatted text that was included using the template has the html tags for rich text formatting double encoded, so basically

< and >

show as it is. You’ll know what i mean.

I am facing problem with your plugin… I got Avada theme for my site but I wanted more flexibility in creating post or page so I bought your plugin also… Every thing was working fine but suddenly from last few days backend editor stopped working…

Now I am unable to create or edit any post or page… I even created support ticket for it and got funny response and they even closed my ticket…

ticket no – 4512 I just had a look at it and the issue is related to the theme. When I switch over to the default twenty fourteen theme, everything works fine.

So what I am suppose to do… Your support suggesting me to stop using Avada and then again build site from scratch… Your plugin is in conflict with most famous wordpress theme…

You can’t say that your plugin will only work when I use default theme…

Every wordpress site uses several plugins like yoast or AIOSEO, Google sitemap, redirection, tinymce…. what happens if tomorrow your plugin starts conflicting with them and you say that it’s not your responsibility and I should stop using them….

If that is the case please mention that your plugin will only work with default wordpress theme and we should not use any plugins from any third party or mention which plugins has been tested to work fine (at least check major ones)...

Anyway let me know what I should do… Either you or Avada team will work and fix this or I scrape one of you from my site so it can work properly….

Hello. Love your page builder, but I’m not experiencing a javascript conflict with Ninja Forms that did not occur on previous version. I use The7 theme, which comes bundled with your VC (we also purchased a license for VC).

So on this site, I have a Ninja Form in the sidebar that has the label titles inside of the fields. They are supposed to only display until you click on a field, then they no longer display. This is not happening due to a js error with JS Composer. I first tried to get assistance from the folks at Ninja Forms, but they said that I need to do so from The7 people. Then they tell me that it’s not one of their supported plugins and I need to seek help through you. I really do not like Contact Form 7 and trying to replicate what I’ve set up already in Ninja Forms would be a pain in the @ss and require a lot of custom CSS. Then on another site, I have set up a Ninja Form in the sidebar that uses a modal pop-up form when you click on the image (that looks like a form). This has always worked before using Ninja Forms, The7 theme and your VC. This site also receives a js error: http://www.state-security.com/dev/

This is a site that uses most of the same things (if not all). I added a simple pop-up form as a test to the Club Pet logo at the bottom of the sidebar, and it seems to work fine in this site. http://64.91.254.11/~gdigital/petlandjax.com/

So confused as to what I should do. I need Ninja Forms features to work again, but something has changed with the VC/JS Composer javascript that prevents it from working. Help? I hope.

Rows still align horizontal in tablet and phone so it destroy info, normally it become vertical

I am using the WP theme Emona and VC for page building. However, the published page on the front end is not clickable, no links or email fields works. Thoughts on this? Is it a theme or VC issue. Thanks for your help!

We’ve been getting a Fatal error: Allowed memory size of XXXXX bytes exhausted…. when using the Post Grid element and it seem it happens when the Post Grid element pulls in posts with the Post Grid element inn.

I am also having exactly the same issue with CPU spikes. The theme i purchased is Florida from Webnus and it uses VC 4.1.1. This theme with VC is making my site respond very slowly to page requests.

I contacted the webnus but they have been very unhelpful. (be warned when buying themes that include VC in them everyone). Is there a temporary fix we can apply to stop VC from causing high CPU use ?

2 questions: 1. Is there an option to add adsense ad to the oage with this plugin? 2. Can I add JW player?

Hello, I have a couple of questions regarding your plugin. I recently took over a website that has this plugin installed but it is version 4.0.1 and it is not working properly.. i am going to be purchasing another one so that I have it.. I have 2 questions..

1. What is the best way of updating your plugin 2. The plugin is not working properly now. When I go into editing the visual text everything is white and non-editable. And if I go into editing the text (html), it completely messes up everything replacing everything with HTML. I noticed a few other people have this problem.

Please let me know so that I can purchase.

I have VC Version 4.1.2 that came with a theme I just bought. I been struggling for hours just trying to get it to work and about to give up and do it the old way. I know this is suposed to make life easier and I was sold on how all the videos look.

Problem #1 I have tried to create a brand new page then edit from the VC frontend I add a row element the a single photo element and save. It appears to save but I never see the photo on the front end appear. Although I do see the top left hand corner where the icon is spinning as if it never is ever saving.

Problem #2 The back-end VC editor seems to work but for the life of me I cannot seem to do something as simple as put a photo in and try and align some text closely to the right or the left so it does not look like its out there in la la land by itself. I have watched many of your videos. I see you making text above and below a photo and that’s because those are diff rows. But I am not seeing how to fit text nicely to right or left of a photo or better yet wrap the photo.

Problem #3 If I have any page that has already been created and edited in WP. If i then go to front-end editor in VC for that page it never loads. It just sits there with faded page in the background and a flashing icon in middle of the page.

So then I thought could there be something messing with VC in the site. So I then took a fresh clean build site and popped VC into it to see what would happen and I get the same problems.

I would love to use this editor and recommend to my clients but not until I can find a way to use it myself. I though it was going to make my life easier…lol

I am using blog categories to stream different content to different pages, and I need to remove the post author link from one of the blog page, but not from all of them.

Is there a way to add css to an individual page? perhaps the “extra css classes”! If yes! How can I call the extra css class to instruct the page to remove the post author?

Let’s refer to the blog author as post_author, and the extra css class page_extra_css. How can I do this?

When I add a new “Text Block,” I do not get any options, nor the ability to type in the “Visual” editor. Only the “Text,” editor, which is much harder for me.

Hi How can the text be set to NOT do a continual line return for every word when reducing the size of the browser? In other words,,, i prefer to have a text block have 4 responsive states. (only 4 jumps to fit). Now, i am getting a constant line return. Can the rows be made responsive, so they only resize 3 to 4 times? Thx

Hi, Regarding the Text element, I cant see the text editing options in the visual editor.

I just see white text, which is visible only when highlighted.

Text can only be added when “Text” mode is selected.

Have been facing the issue on different sites also.
