Thanks Raison. Yes, switching from VAT to GST in settings would be good (it’s GST in Australia and New Zealand, so you kill two birds with one stone).

Hi again Raison. Could you let me know when this plugin has been updated to include the ‘GST’ text, as I’d then like to download it.
Also, it would be good if it had an option to choose the default setting – i.e. to make it so that when the customer first views the shop, it will default to the ‘incl. GST’ view by default (so they don’t have to click on the toggle).
This really should be part of the core WooCommerce, since it’s illegal in several countries to display tax exclusive prices. But, if this plugin will work in the interim (until the WooCommerce people realise how important this issue is) then I would buy it.

I was on a big thread on WC core github and I don’t think they will include this in the core for a while from the sounds of it

A question. Can it say ‘Excl. GST’ and ‘Incl. GST’ instead of VAT? I need this for an Australian site.
Also, our front page is a blog, and the shop goes in a /shop directory. I wouldn’t want the toggle showing on the main page, but only in the shop pages. Will it work as I hope?

Two Good ideas.
1) I could make it so you can change this text. So by default it says VAT and then it can be amended in the settings. What do you think?
2) A simple way to hide from other pages would be to use css. You can use #wcvat-toggle {display:none;} .woocommerce #wcvat-toggle {display:inline-block;} – This will hide on all pages except WooCommerce pages.
I have been looking for a way to add the words “Excl VAT” to woo commerce for months and found this Plugin, It works perfectly and gives the option to toggle between “Excl. VAT” or “Incl. VAT” no more confusion for customers.
