How do you get ‘Sort Options’ on EventMap Addon?
at the moment eventMap does not support sorting options
Even with EventList Ext. ?
eventLists has sorting options but you asked with eventMap—which does not.
Is it possible to show any formatting on the event ? If I use ‘bold’ for example, this doesn’t show on the resulting event output.

This seems like a much-wanted feature. After all, you can see a text editor in the event manager, showing bold etc but these don’t show on the resulting event page. we just need to highlight certain parts of the event text and to add a link to a site where you can then book tickets.
On further checking, the odd thing is that italic ie ‘em’ works but bold ie ‘strong’ does not. Links are ok.
This is now being dealt with on the main support desk ..
wait what .. main support desk?? I am guessing you are having issues making text bold on wysiwyg editor on event details and that is not showing on front-end? And the font bolding issue will be fixed in the next version.
In the mean time what you can do is in myEventon> styles type this CSS code
.ajde_evcal_calendar strong{font-weight:bold}
Re the Main Support – I was confusing you with another plugin provider and another issue, apologies for the confusion!
Re this issue, dding a style to add bold doesn’t work because the tag is not added in the first place. Oddly, it is possible, by making the text italic and then bold.

Next update might not be out till end of this month however you can try the fix I gave you
Hi, this plugin is almost what I need, but it will need some changes, so the question first to buy is, do you make some tailored chages? for money of course. How much will be? around.
The changes will be add more fields to the events, and more options to add for visitors, more options for users to add events, more fields for user and for events of the users, more like a social events.

It comes with upto 3 custom meta fields that you can add is that what you wanting? And sorry I dont do custom work at this moment.

So your calender is good but it sucks me, that a lot of addons make it very good! Ok, I bourght some addons BUT IT FUCK ME UP, when your support is bad over the google board!! Sorry but I paied a lot of money and I don´t want pay for a premium support!! So today I bourght the “event Lists Extended” and it doesn´t work!! So I´m also pissed off, of your documentation!! 1.) the calender show me the next events but also from an other ID
2.) the calender has no entrys, but at the backend there are some events!!
So I hope you can give me now a good suport that the addon works now!!

Sounds like you need to set event_id and not cal_id if you only want to show one certain event.

Love all your work on this. Got all the add-ons. Update to Full Cal 0.12 does not install. I am using Flawless. Please advise.
Can you please explain what you mean by that you can not install? is it giving any errors are you selecting the correct zip file?
AAAHHHH!!!!! The update you just put out killed my events listings! I can’t figure out what I need to do to fix it! 
Also now to add the event to a page, I have to scroll down to see all the options to chose from and when I do it closes the events options window before I can set them to get the code!
Oh no… can you post a link to your website? also if you click the button on bottom right on shortcode generator lightbox it will insert the code to wysiwyg editor.
Does the daily repeat addon feature the ability to schedule events on the 2nd Thursday of the Month, etc.?
Because the X # of days will change from month to month & the 10th each month falls on a different day, some events just cannot use plugins. If there were a way to figure that out, this would be a game changing event cal addon.
Sorry at the moment it only allow fixed gap day repeats.
I noticed that “Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin”—does this mean, I will lose all of my customization that I have done in the Admin dashboard when I update?
The instructions are directing me to remove the plugin directory and replace it with the latest version…

You should be able to activate your eventON license and auto update and your customization are saved and will not be deleted unless you delete the plugin.
I purchased this as a replacement for our google plugin calendar in wordpress, which kept messing up times etc when DST came about.
However, I’ve hit a major issue in that when you add a recurring event….ie a church service every Sunday at the same time, it is then not possible to go to a specific Sunday and input specific details for that day alone, without affecting all of the other recurring events in the future. (Google had this and I wondered if any one else had come across this problem and if this could be a feature request for the future….ie sometime soon 
)
Hi there, yes unfortunately the repeat event is kind of a virtual thing which replicates the main event. I have added this to the to-do list.

Sorry netsi, I dont have any ETA on this however that is something that i want to add to eventON in the future. As of now, next in line is event ticket addon and then improvements to all other addons and then RSS feed and weekly schedule features after that might come this if nothing else crave for priority over this
Everything has been working fine for the past month, but when I added a new event last night my ‘events’ page no longer shows my calendar and instead displays the content of my event instead!
I deleted the event, but it continues to show the content of the previous event instead. How can I get my ‘events’ page back to normal?
taylor, Did you do an update or something that caused this? try changing the page slug to events-directory and see if that would solve the issue.

HI I want to create a calendar using event list that shows ‘ALL’ past events. I have tried this using the – sign before the event but it seems to miss the first two previous months. The ascending and descending function is not working either. here is my page link. look at past months.

I did NOT ask you to buy this addon I simply said it is built to simply create past events lists and sort them—past events lists was never a feature of main eventON, and neither has this being advertised anywhere.
BTW thanks for the review… if you dont agree with the pricing please dont waste your money and your/my time please ask envato for a refund after all as you so bluntly put this is a “crap calendar” There are so many users that appreciate the quality design and the time and effort went into this plugin and if you dont agree please ask for a refund instead of leaving nasty reviews.

Hello, I´m a satisfied costumer with this plugin. I would like to do a suggestion. Maybe other users will find it usefull as well.
Is to create a directory where you can put the contact details like (phone, web, time table) of the bars or places that organice the events.
So in one hand u could have acces to the general information of that place, and in the other hand would be great if all the events that will take place in there would be listed below.
Could be as well conected with the events map. However just the directory conected with the event calendar would be great.
Maybe u already have this in the “to do list”. I would be the fiirst client for sure… 
Hey there, You know you can use custom meta fields like in here http://www.myeventon.com/documentation/setup-use-custom-meta-fields-events/ to create new field to save contact information. I think that is the closest to what you are suggestion but nevertheless thanks for the suggestion
Hi, have have main website and the next one is a subdomain with a blog., is it possible I can have this plugin installed on two websites? I want to display the same events coming up on the two WordPress installs . simultaneously, www.website.com, and blog.website .com (for example). without me having to manual enter information on one.
unfortunately if you have 2 different installs those save posts on its own database table and you can not use them interchangeably.
Do you guys do any custom work on the side? I have almost all the addons for this and if you guys could make a Store Locator plugin exactly like this one it would be epic!

well right now I use a store locator plugin that I actually paid for but the whole idea look and feel is horrible. basically i want a plugin that will list locations by adress. like venues, shops etc. be able to view them on a map like you already have with the events. its really your events plugin just remade and tailored for stores. so you would have hours of operation business website url etc. then you could make widgets and shortcodes to list things by state or country, search by zip etc. basically Yelps store page scaled down a tad.
you already have 99% of the code with this plugin. i just love the look and feel of the work you guys did w/ this one.

you should not have any issues no one else had issues with the new update. Make sure you have installed it correct and please post a link to your site where eventON is.
I only did the update…the site does not show…I’ll try to uninstall

eventON main plugin can not do this however you can use the action user addon to do so http://www.myeventon.com/addons/action-user/ also action user can not take payments FYI

Ashanjay’m trying to climb the main plugin three days straight to no avail. All I can load are the complements and I get this Eventon Action User is enabled but not effective. It requires Eventon in order to work.
