After purchase, I just wanted to test a couple of events so I create 2 events, one in March and one in April. When I publish the events, I can see both of them if I use the arrow buttons to switch between months. However, according the the actual calendar settings, I should be able to list out future events as well (not past). I’m even given the choice to select how many months out in advanced I would like my events to show up. However, it doesn’t seem to be doing that. It’s still only showing the “current month events” and forcing me to either jump or click through the arrow buttons to view my test even in April. Am I doing something wrong? Or did I interpret what the code says I should be able to do incorrectly? Or do I still need the Extended add-on as well, despite that the settings show that I can do it?
What was the shortcode you used? and did you use events lists shortcode?
Actually, I used the shortcode generator when I selected the options.. and here’s the shortcode it created for me: [add_eventon number_of_months=”3” hide_empty_months=”yes” hide_mult_occur=”no” show_year=”yes”]

Unfortunately at the moment this is hardcoded on line 366 of classes/class-calendar_generator.php I will be sure to make this editable from options in the next version. —you can change the values from that file if you choose to.

So, which script? Line 366 to me is just space line. Just 1 line above the below script:

THis is the only solution try this, in that same file search for text ”$__months” and that is the line. I am guessing your file have extra spaces added inbetween so that is probably why 366 is a blank.
OK. I see it with WP Editor at control panel now. But I suggest that you could answer more specific in reply to others since others may use notepad ++ or other software to check the script.

Whichever code editor you use if you search for that variable in your editor you should be able to get to that line of code and then you should see an array with first letters of month and you just need to simply change it to numbers.

Hello Mike, You do not need a special addon for this, If you go to myeventon shortcode generator you should find an option in there to add jumper.

Hi, if I use the EventBrite integration, do I have to manage the EventOn plugin or will all events be automatically added from EventBrite? Do I have to add the Google Map to EventOn seperately, or will the map be automatically populated from Eventbrite?
eventbrite integration will only link to the eventbrite event unfortunately it will not sync data from their end. And we are actually planning to drop the eventbrite integration and build in event ticketing to eventON.

yes i am hoping to build an addon that can do that for eventON – hoping for end april release date. Which would be a more viable option as eventbrite charge a fee everytime someone register.

2. How is SEO handled by the EventOn plugin?

You are correct it doesnt not have a RSS feed—something that is in the plans for future implementation
As for SEO every event get schema event details added so those will help in search engines identifying your events.

Try this, go to myevenotn> settings> Appernace> eventcard styles and change the font size to a smaller size.

I had to put the font size down to 12px, which is smaller than the main text. I can use it as a temporary solution, but do you think you can change that another way? I would really prefer to have a higher font size there.

It does not, for that you will need ActionUser addon.
Hi, where can i find the option for repeating events like:
event 1 is every monday, tuesday and thursday from 9 to 16 between june and october ?
event 2 is every sunday from 18 to 21 between june and october as well as from december to april ?

Hi there, unfortunately at the moment those repeat options are not available you can have fixed gap between repeating event. This is something we are hoping to improve in the future.

hello again, i am again stuck with the plugin / addon… i have daily dinner from june to october which is repeating “event” for about 125 days. i have bought the addon for daily repeat but there is a limit for 100 days ???!!! kindly tell me asap, how to change this limit and set to 365 !!!
last thing (i hope) is the sorting display of the events on the main event list:
1) the sorting depends on time i guess, right ? 2) when there are 3 events starting at the same time, so how can i change the sorting then ? for example:
- i have 3 events at the same day:
event 1, event 2 and event
- all events start at the same time - currently the list looks like this:
day 1: event 1, event 3, event 2 day 2: event 2, event 3, event 1 day 3: event 1, event 2, event 3
etc. etc.
so now i want this:
day 1: event 1, event 2, event 3 day 2: event 1, event 2, event 3 day 3: event 1, event 2, event 3
how can i sort this the correct way ? thanks
next problem is with language: i can change the first parameters with the name of month and days but all other options i can not change. when i click on them the fields remain unclickable and cannot be changed. how can i fix this ?

if you go to myeventon> settings eventCard you can set the height for featured image in there.

When set to have the event expanded by default, the map doesn’t show. It’s just a blank space. Newest version of the plugin and newest version of WordPress. The map shows up just fine when not set to be expanded by default.
Take a look at this http://dev.myeventon.com/expanded-events/ works just fine on my end. try this http://www.myeventon.com/documentation/check-eventon-working/ and see if you get any javascript erros on the page.

Nope… No errors. Like I said, it shows up just fine when I have to click on the event to open the details, but if I have it set to have all events expanded, the map doesn’t show. The only thing not showing up is the map. If it shows up when I have to click to expand, then it should show when already expanded. The same javascript to display the map is being used in either case. So the only piece of script that would be affecting this would have to be the toggle script for the event box right?
