Impressive set of revisions for 5.4… one glaring omission – is it still not responsive?

Responsive wasn’t part of v5.4, it’s next in todo list for next update, after we’ll work on some other products. SMS Reminder plugin was submitted for review yesterday – still pending release.

Heres a HUGE issue!
As far as I can tell by your demo, it has a major flaw.
As I see it, each checkbox relates to a half hour block at $10 a block. So lets say I check 9:00 – 9:30 for $10
Now I want to reserve so to speak until 10:30, it WILL add an additional $10. However, and heres the flaw.
If I check 9:00 til 9:30 and then 12:00 til 12:30, it DOES NOT add in the additional $50 but instead just another $10.
That’s a huge no no! Your basically giving – losing money – away free time!

It’s not a flaw. What you described is a different logic, which is not how BookingWizz intended to be used. There is no option to select from A to Z and everything in between. Your customers select A, B, C.. etc, whichever TIME INTERVALS they want to book. So, if they select 9 to 9:30 and then 12 to 12:30 it means that somebody else can book from 9:30 to 12:00.

I see. Well, then its obvious that this script is not for me. If I have a customer that requires my services – so to speak, I am a web developer – for 2 consecutive hours for $20, Im good with that. Being that it is an online Booking and payment, if they only checked one timeframe and skipped 4 others, I would HAVE to assign the entire timeframe for just $20.
Anyway, thanks for your time! I just thought at the cost of this script compared to others, it would function a bit better.
Forgot to mention, there is a setting which forces your customers to select specific number of intervals. So, if you set that they have to have minimum booking of 2 hours – and have all intervals of 1 hour, then if they select just 1 hour – message will popup to select 2 hours minimum… but again, it means that they will be able to select 9am to 10am and then 18 to 19 …
Or you could just set interval to 2 hours.
is there a way to track that a person has made payment for the appointment?

I am launching an advertisement/directory web platform in February where businesses from several industries will be promoted.
I ant to offer my customers a booking module that is flexible and able to be adapted to their needs (e.g.: booking tables for a restaurant, renting a limo, a hair salon appointment and so on) yet all combined in one platform.
Additionally, i want the module to run integrated with m joomla based website and have multiple “book” buttons, that lead to separate calendars and setups per customer. Plus I need it to have my own branding and style.
Can this be done and if so do I need to purchase multiple licenses (the domain will be the same, but there will be multiple subdomains).

Thank you for your interest in our product.
If BookingWizz as it is – working fine for your needs, you can use it for the purpose you described, however keep in mind that for any bookingwizz instance – you have to get separate license key. So, if you have 10 subdomains using BookingWizz, you have to purchase 10 licenses.

Hi. Firstly Brilliant plugin!
I was wondering if it was possible to put services on specific dates? At the moment, I love the functionality of “Services”, but can only set it to days, that repeat through the calendar.
I really like the capacity of “Slots” that services gives. I am a photographer and want to add shoots (services) on specific days, rather than every saturday, etc.

You are posting misleading information, first by posting 10 days instead of 1 day, and now that we don’t provide the service. What in reality was posted – we asked you to provide us with your business logic so we could better explain you how to setup things on your BookingWizz calendar. Which you did – and we’ll reply soon. “We cannot provide service” was replied in regards to your request to populate your bookingwizz with our demo data – and yes, we do not provide such service. Furthermore, we sent you detailed guide (50 pages PDF) which explains not only how to install bookingwizz but also how to configure it, and explains what is what in bookingwizz.
in you 60 mb pdf u have just advertised your different plugins and extensions and mentioned how to use the calendar from front end you haven’t mentioned how to use the admin side.
Most of the sellers here provide demo data file why don’t you all do this for so that we can easily use ur script

It’s not “buggy” – its a setting. You can either have it open in popup OR in same window like you have on your link. Depends on the settings you’ve set. For any further questions or requests please use support forum.

We strongly suggest testing it on a subdomain on some hosting account, instead of localhost. We have seen issues with local testing environment and unfortunately – we cannot assist in such cases.
As for the second installation – as long as you remove it from domain1.com/booking and have same license key running under the domain2.com – it will be fine.

You can use it on the same hosting account where you have your codeigniter site, keep in mind that this is standalone application and it is just PHP (no frameworks). So you will be able to direct visitors to the BookingWizz by simple link on your site to bookingwizz on your server. If you want more thorough integration, with your codeigniter site – it will require custom code adjustments (by you or somebody else who’s proficient with codeigniter).
It has been impossible for me to set this up. Can you please help? The instructions in the documentation aren’t that clear. My issue is on the install.php page. I created a new database and did all the steps correctly yet I keep getting this notification: ERROR! Couldn’t connect to database with provided information. Please check your input and try again.
I put in the Item purchase code for the license key (which I assume is what you mean by license key) and I put in my themeforest username scianfoni under that with the domain I expect this booking system to work at. Please advise.

The error which you’re referring to means that one of the DB connection parameters is wrong, or user which you created to use with this database doesn’t have permissions for the database. Please contact your hosting support and ask them to provide exact DB user/DB name/DB host/DB password.

When I view the calendar (customer view), and click on the spaces remaining, it opens up on a new page. On your demo, the page opens up on the same view.
How do I get that functionality back as it was one of the things that enticed me to buy in the first place.

Thank you for your interest in our product. You can import .ics file with bookings to your iCal – but it has to be done manually at this time. We do have plans to automate the process with google calendar first, and then we’ll look into the options to automate it with iCal
