I’m doing my best to search the comments for an update to this problem, but the support pages your linking are 404 errors?
I would appreciate more info about redirecting users to previous pages—as opposed to user profiles.
One example: A user must login to comment, but is pulled completely away from the page after login.

For clarity, I would like ALL user login to be modal or have specific login instances return to previous pages so users aren’t pulled away from previous pages. 
You can make a simple modal login link:
<a href="#" class="popup-login" data-force_redirect_uri="1">Login</a>Users will login and redirected without leaving the page! That way you achieve the result you want

How could I apply this to my post’s comments section? Post content drives my traffic, and I’d like to have the “Login to comment” not move users away from the page. Wouldn’t I have to edit the css?
You would want to find out where your theme prints the Login to comment link and MODIFY the HTML to make users login via modal and get redirected automatically to same post to comment.

However, I would prefer people not be redirected to their profile page from THIS modal login. How would I set that for a modal navigation menu login?

Just read that “data-force_redirect_uri=”1” goes on anchor tag. Does that apply to a navigation menu item?
If you do not want users to be redirected yes you need to use data-force_redirect_uri=1 but I am afraid it needs to be custom because nav items do not accept data options

Search comments for the paid membership because Envato changed the comments system recently. But with search feature, I think we can still find it. It just does not have enough integration information.

That’s achieved by [userpro template=postsbyuser] on the PROFILE page.
[userpro template=postsbyuser user=author] On Post/Page where you want posts by AUTHOR.
When I use that shortcode, I see post from every other author too. I need to see only post from Peter.
Because We visitors go to Peter profile they are looking to see his profiles and post, Not post from every body, only Peter.

The plugin looks very cool! I have a few quick question before I purchase. Is the main administrator able to add notes on different users profiles? Basically, I’m trying to create a membership section for a landscaping-type of company. We’d like the ability to add notes to each member’s profile for each time the company completes a service. Is that possible? I’d like for only the members to see their own profiles. Is that possible as well? Let me know. Thanks!

Yes you can add a custom note similar to what I did. This profile is for testing only etc. If that’s what you mean?
Yes you can enable/disable guests view, or members view only their profiles.
The only notes on the profile I see, are made by the profile owner. I mean notes from the administrator to a single person’s profile page. Is that possible?
I set a custom warning/message on profile.
“For example, admin can set “This account is banned” this account is for test” etc. Or inform the user about something else. But this message is viewable to others too.. you can turn it off (it needs a quick php edit tho)

Nope, until now you will lose updates if its changed. You need to replace it again after update. Or implement a custom avatar using the custom skin option.

Is there a shortcode option to make the profile image square instead of round?
This is very easy, it only requires a simple CSS change in the skin you’re using.
Open your default skin and find:
div.userpro-profile-img img {
border-radius: 999px;
padding: 5px !important;
background: #fff !important;
box-shadow: 0 0 5px #666 !important;
-webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 5px #666 !important;
-moz-box-shadow: 0 0 5px #666 !important;
}
Change the border-radius to 0 to make it square. If you do not want this change to be overrideen, please do a custom skin I am writing a guide about it in the Docs section at the website.

actually you have not replied, you have asked me to provide you an access to ftp and admin. Where I oversee admin access make sense to try to solve an issue, I am not keen about the FTP which I would rather not open to somebody that I do not know, no offense. I understand that I am not the only one having this picture display issue, and would appreciate some guidance on where to look at so I can perform the work or debug myself. You said previously that this problem may come from some host specificities? Can you tell me more about that?
I can only know this after checking and testing your site using FTP to echo the image and see which error is returned – If you can’t provide me that info – I simply can’t debug your issue. The profile picture works properly on all instllations except when there’s a problem with host.I can’t guess it, I can only try and debug it, and I need FTP to do that.
Ahmed, I have a very solid website within dedicated server at VPS.net, fantastic host, many plugins installed and all work great all together. What about testing with Firebvug to test debug this “simple” issue?? This is my second plugin purchase of yours, and to me it’s still not working straight out from the box… Where do you think the host can be involved in a plugin profile picture not working properly? What about js conflicts or else?
The plugin uses timthumb, I need to be able to debug the error that stops timthumb from convering the image * Also, did you make sure that you “Show Gravatars” under Discussion settings in your WordPress? There are some things that could cause this. It’s not working out of the box because there’s a misconfiguration not allowing the image to appear. I have fixed the same issue for several users, if this was a common issue, you could see all people writing about it here. So I apologize, but it’s not the plugin and if you do not help me to debug/find out the issue for you, I am afraid I can’t do any help.

when clicking on the “round” profile picture I do get a “Oops! That page can’t be found.” but not a error message from a timthumb page. Is timthumb a plugin to install in addition to user pro?
I also ran into something more concerning; when logged as a “contributor”, the Wordpress backend top bar and side bar do not show up, weird!
The plugin aims to hide top bar from non-admins, but in v1.0.39 I added option to control this on/off please show me a live page – the round picture should give you a timthumb page, it’s built in userpro.

ah btw, the admin bar (top bar) show/hide option to non-admins is now added to v1.0.39. You can get latest update off customer portal.

Reiterating what what user msswebso said, please make it easy to find shortcodes on the features page.
It makes no sense to have the actual images and examples of what your plugin can do, then on another page list the shortcodes you will need to create such a outcome.
Combine these (examples and example shortcodes) in one place so we don’t need to ask you the shortcode in comments or support tickets.

Is the frontend publisher included in the latest version? I can’t see an option for this anywhere in the admin or anything in your shortcode list. Also how do I display posts made by a user (as you show here: http://vivaplugins.com/userpro/profile/) and what is the shortcode to display a list-only view of the users posts?
There’s a lot of great features but without any documentation (unless I’ve missed them somehow) I don’t know how to implement them!

Maybe you don’t have a wordpress multisite installation for testing your plugin compatibility. You know that an avatar uploaded on a website domain (like site1.mysite.com) doesn’t appear on the others (site2.mystite.com, site3…...).
If i upload an avatar via the site1, i got this url for the avatar :
