Hello, I have couple of queries regarding Custom Teaser. Can you please let me know what code I need to use in new VC Custom Teaser option to increase the excerpt length which is currently 20. I tried doing it through function.php by using custom function and it does not take effect in post grid posts. I want the Teaser / Excerpt of something close to 120 words instead of default 20. I am on Genesis framework and any changes done to chile theme to change excerpt does not apply to Post Grid. This is critical functionality to my blog as I cannot have just 20 word excerpt. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Also a future feature request. It would be great if you added line separator between posts in Post Grid Posts. As well as Comment bubble or comment link. If not by default, then as an option. Lot of people would love it including me as We would like to use Post Grid and VC to build blog pages with different elements.
This is what i tried using in child theme functions.php

Also I have thrive installed on my sites that also does a lot of the same things as visual composer and im just trying to figure out which one is the best to use as i have them both but before i really get into building out the sites id like to get some feedback from others that use visual composer and with what themes.

What exact steps you are doing? Installation process is very straight forwards, strange that you are having problems.
1. Make sure you don’t have js_composer folder in your wp-content/plugins folder (eg. remove that you previously uploaded)
2. Plugins->Add new->Upload and upload js_composer.zip file that is included in your zip that you download from CodeCanyon.
Hello, I followed those exact steps and am still getting the same error. There isn’t an existing folder using that name. Other plugins are installing with no issues.

Can’t get any image sliders working in the content boxes. Revolution Slider, layer Slider and Image Gallery do not work. Anybody else having the same issues?
